“Yo, BB, watch it!” Cyborg scolded as Beastboy dove at the villain as well as the victim out of an adorable desire to help. “I think this kid’s the only one causing the trouble.”
There was no need for Cyborg to worry, however. Masen happened to be not only adorable, but very strong. When Beastboy’s paws met his back, he glanced off of Masen’s steel-hard shoulderblades and went flying backwards. Masen turned around to glare at the bewildered Titans while still gripping the cashier by the throat.
“You Teen Titans stay out of this! This has nothing to do with you!”
Starfire launched a laser beam at him, but it glanced off of him just as Beastboy had. What was this kid, anyway? “How does it have nothing to do with us? Why are you attacking an innocent person?”
“Silence! This cashier is far from innocent!”
