Loki suppressed the urge to cover his behind with his hands when Frigga promised to deal with him; but despite the fact that he was as still as a statue, his mother called his name, making him flinch. The tone of voice indicated that he was in big, big trouble (which was not at all unusual for the second Prince of Asgard).
He stood up and said quickly "It was an accident Mama! I didn’t mean to do it!" That was a lie, but Loki thought it was a pretty plausible one; the young boy couldn’t always control his magic.
