Apollo was the Greek God of the Sun, among many other things. He was 13-year-old godling. There were many things he yet needed to learn about the world, but for now he was simply spending some time with his twin. The Sun God was young, but already powerful, practicing guaranteed a seat on the Olympian Council in a few years. His short hair was golden-blonde, and his eyes were blue like a cloudless day sky. He wore a beautiful, flawless white toga.

His (older) twin sister, Artemis, Goddess of the Moon and Hunt, had been arguing with him about their shared domain of archery. They were arguing the merits of certain woods for bow-making, and Apollo had finally challenged his sister to a bet. They would each use a bow of their preferred wood, and whomever got the most bullseyes would win… and be allowed to spank the looser.
