For a brief moment there was sheer panic in Ciri's eyes as he mentioned Witcher.
He could not possibly know. She knew that SHE had not told him. And there were only two people who knew, as far as she knew: Herself and Dad. So...where did that come from?
Of course she knew of the books and games. Had known for years. In fact she had almost gotten herself killed in her reaction to finding out.
But the way he said it like that triggered a primal fear reaction in her on par with the reaction a cheating spouse caught in the act would have, only multiplied by a thousand.
Luckily, however, she didn't have time to answer as she sees the car, and instantly realized she was saved by the bell.
She inwwardly breathed the biggest sigh of relief that anyone had ever breathed as she headed over towards the car to hug both of them, trying to put her face back in the right foldds now that her back was turned to Lukas.
"It was great!", she said after the greeting, and headed back. "Nothing too wild, or anything", she elaborated. It was...well, not ENTIRELY a lie?
"Rough time?", she looked at both of them - mom especially - with a huge smirk.
