Somnus, known also as Sam, wasn’t a typical teenager. He may have been 18 going on 19, but he had a strength and agility to him that people didn’t expect from his slender and almost lithe appearance. Some did think he was superpowered, but he never did anything to confirm or deny this. While he didn’t have a job, per se, he did have his ways to get money.

When he sensed magic, he did try to resist it, as many would if they could, but he could only resist for a few brief seconds before he found himself transported through space. Amusingly, he was teleported while he was practicing parkour, so he appeared in Raven’s room in the middle of a somersault-esque move, but he still landed on his feet as if this wasn’t something totally sudden. As he saw Raven and heard her speak, he did start to say something, but decided it wasn’t worth the headache and instead silently sat down, taking in the room and his surroundings.
