I recently downloaded mIRC, and wanted to use it to chat, but I have a horribly low understanding of computers and can't figure out how it works! When I tried getting into the room I believe is what it is, this message appeared on the window:

#irc.animeotk.com:6668 Bad Channel Mask

I don't know what it means, nor do I even know if I'm trying to get to the right room, so if someone could please help me out, that'd be great. I miss being able to chat as Java seems to be down at the moment.
