"I uhm...", Melissa thought about it. "I think it is very nice here so far", she admitted with a smile. "Tony, it's her second day, don't push her", Pepper scolded lightly.

As Steve looked back at his drink, he frowned. "Care to explain why my drink changed it's color?", he asked Clint meaningfully.

Clint coughed suddenly as he was drinking down some more cider, and looked at the glass. "Uh...uh....I dunno!" he yelped.

Melissa smiled back at her boss, not feeling uncomfortable but of course not taking his kindness seriously. It was just business for him and she knew that, so she was showing the same formal kindness.

Pepper shook her head and sighed. "It's alright", Melissa assured her and smiled. "Better than you wouldn't care", she added friendly.

"Ah, really? Well I think your bottom isn't hurting enough anymore, how about reminding you in front of all these people?", Steve asked threatening.

Tony smiled at both women and made a start on his soup, it tasted very good, best he'd had in years. "Did you make this?" he asked.

Clint flushed red and stood up casually as he could, "Well um, I better make a trip to the bathroom...that cider goes r-right through me."

"No, I ordered it from a catering service Sir. I ordered a few things there before for some parties I made myself, and I was satisfied so far, so I thought you might like to try it too", Melissa explained honestly. "But if you wish, I can cook next time", she offered politely. She was indeed a very good cook and the catering service belonged to her mother, but Tony didn't need to know that.

"I will help you finding the way then", Steve told him calmly, not wanting to give up right now.

Tony smiled again, after taking a mouthful of soup. "Well I'm quite impressed all the same." he answered and drank down some of the wine. "Only if you want to though."

"No it's okay...I can find it alone..." Clint answered, backing away a little bit.

"I will try my best Sir, I hope my cooking will be satisfiying for you", the girl replied and took a sip from her water. Pepper watched the two interested. She had to admit that Melissa did what she did very good. She was being very polite and friendly, even offering something so personal as to cook for Tony as if it was just business. And it was, indeed. Tony was of course thinking that she was flirting with him, at least Pepper thought so and had to grin.

"Don't worry, I will make sure you find it", Steve replied and pulled Clint with him.

Tony smiled, "Well if your cooking is half as good as your coffee's then I'll be a happy man." he answered and then eyed Pepper, "Something amusing you?" he asked, one eyebrow raised.

Clint groaned and allowed (not that he had much choice) Steve to drag him to the bathroom. Once inside he turned and faced the man. "Okay so...I don't really need it."

Pepper smiled at Tony. "No, I am just happy that the two of you get along very well", she replied and it sounded honest. Melissa looked at her curiously but Pepper didn't gave her any signs so she ignored it and continued eating.

"Oh? I think you do, because you tried to make me drunk", Steve said sternly. "I just wanted to have a nice evening after a hard day of working but you decided to act like a child, TWICE. I will spank you and put you into the corner in front of everybody that is outside if you don't pull yourself together now", he barked.

Tony rose his eyebrows a little higher but said nothing more to the woman as he finished up his soup.

Clint gulped, chills of fear running down his spine as Steve caught him out. When given that threat he panicked and tried to get himself out of it which resulted in digging an even bigger hole for himself. "I-I didn't put the whisky in your drink!" he protested, but then...how did he know it was whisky if he didn't?
