Description: Eric seldom dresses in street clothes, anymore, preferring to only appear as Morbid. During those few rare moments when he’s actually in normal clothes, he wears whatever he can scrap together. As Morbid, he wears a pitch black outfit that covers his entire body and hugs it tightly. Skulls adorn his shoulders, lending themselves to his name.


Powers: Eric’s body naturally absorbs kinetic energy, storing it inside of himself. This makes him highly resistant to physical damage, as he can absorb the force of all but the most powerful impacts. While he cannot direct the kinetic energy back out of his body, he can control how it flows within him. This grants him incredible physical strength, and the ability to fly.


Background: When Eric first learned of his abilities, he donned a mask and tried his luck as a superhero under the name of Kinetico. He was successful, but perhaps too much so. One of the supervillains that he’d faced escaped from prison and starting hunting Kinetico down. He managed to learn of Kinetico’s secret identity as Eric. Using this information, the villain found and killed Eric’s girlfriend. When Eric found her lying in a pool of blood, he lost it. He immediately tracked down the villain, killing him on the spot without any sign of mercy. Not only did he kill him, but he reveled in the death. With two deaths on his head and his hands, he no longer saw any purpose in saving lives. He donned the name of Morbid, and now hires himself out to those willing to pay his fees, though he will kill for sport and fun when the desire arises in him.


Roleplaying Notes: Eric is snide and boorish, looking for opportunities to mock and degrade those who still try to uphold the standards of good. The death of his girlfriend ripped away his desire to help others, as he sees the world as a dark place full of lost causes. Because of his unhealthy obsession with death, he has become involved with a vampiress, more in love with her undead condition than her personality.


Alternate Universe: The most likely version of Eric would be as a hero if his girlfriend had never been murdered, or before that event occurs. He would not fit well outside of a superhero context, however, as that is a large part of his being. His age may fluctuate somewhat, but wouldn't go much higher or lower than it already is.
