The bounty hunters task [RP for Gare]
Josh walked through the alleyway in silence as he glanced around every so often, keeping an ear open for his surroundings. His black hair moved a little in the wind as he walked, the man clearly on a mission of some kind with his determination. Lately, a new rumor had begun spreading, that even local authorities were unable to verify if true or not, some believing it was a silly playground rumor about a notorious ‘spank happy bandit’. The tale was simple:
In the dead of night, a black haired young msn would appear near your location and follow, and watch you. The catch was, he seemed to know about misdeeds someone might have done. He doesn’t report the issues and misdeeds immediately however, the rumor continued to state that he would instead handle things himself, by spanking the offender. And if you were a repeat offender, you’d find yourself more often then not being spanked more severely before finally after so many, you’re dragged off to who knows where, most rumors ending with jail, some outright claim the spank happy bandit takes them for himself, no one knew.
Josh found the rumors rather humorous but he didn’t ever come clean that he was indeed the man in question, and he wasn’t some magical entity, he just had a helpful strand of information he could pull from, and tonight he was tipped off about someone downtown, and was keeping an eye open for the man who fit his description. “Now… where is he? They said he wouldn’t be too much trouble…” he gruffly smirked

The man in question was Brandon, a man who, although is only just barely into his mid-thirties, already has bits of grey poking through his unkempt brown hair. He stood in front of a small family store, thick fingers fumbling with a large key ring. He sifted through what felt like hundreds of them to get the store key and lock up finally after his long shift.
Brandon was a quiet guy, normally keeping to himself and staying out of trouble. Recently, however, he had started a bar fight after a particularly rough day of work. He broke the guys nose, and probably would have done more if his friends hadn't pulled him away. He left before the cops arrived, and they didn't have enough evidence to prove he was involved, so he had gotten away without so much as a slap on the wrist.
Part of him felt bad, but another (admittedly bigger) part of him was just glad he could just go on with his life like nothing happened. He finally got the store all locked up, and let out a huge sigh, stepping over to the side of the building and taking out a pack of cigarettes. He figured he would get a quick smoke in before walking to his car and heading home. It's not like anyone was out this late anyway.

Josh had caught wind of the noise and had left the alleyway he was standing to glance around, thankfully a decent distance away to remain hidden from sight. “So, that’s him…?” He thought for a moment as he absentmindedly mumbled to himself, scanning the man up and down. “Seems to fit his description he handed me…” josh continued speaking to himself as he started to sneak by and work his way around the opposite end of the store, in an attempt to make his way towards Brandon undetected. The wind thankfully was strong enough to hide his sounds, even if it wasn’t enough to really do much else.
Josh had heard about the bar fight and was impressed that everyone got out of it fine barring the broken nose, and knew it was a minimal situation at most, and a misdemeanor at least. That didn’t stop our bounty hunter however as he started walking along the back of the store to creep closer and closer to where Brandon stood, sneakily glancing around the corner as his eyes began to scan the man’s build, particularly his backside.
Regardless of how small the situation was, Brandon would quickly learn that this town had its own mysteries and ways of dealing with things even if the cops let it go…

Brandon was, well, fairly average. He was a bit on the shorter side, but did carry a bit of weight on him. His backside particularly, while his loose pants didn't do it many favors, was definitely bigger than average. He was quite proud of it, in fact. It was always a hit with the ladies. (And quite a few of the guys as well. He wasn't picky.)
Completely oblivious to the new arrival, Brandon leans against the brick wall, and lights one of his cigarettes. He takes a long draw and grabs his phone to text his roommate, letting him know he would be back home soon. He doesn't get a response, and tucks the phone back in his pocket, assuming he's asleep already.

Josh watched his mannerisms and nodded seeing he had a phone on him, but didn’t worry much about that knowing if the man really wanted to get anyone involved, it would only incriminate himself some due to the actions that lead to this, as well as admitting that someone was set to spank him. Something about the sight of his bigger butt made Josh smirk a bit, enjoying the sight some as he started to slowly approach, deciding to the a normal approach first before just striking. Turning the corner fully, he came out of hiding and acted as if he was just passing by.
Walking by, he stopped close enough so only they could hear each other and commented. “Hey, weren’t you that guy in the bar fight?” It wasn’t too obvious, and Josh made sure to act his best to catch the man off guard and slowly lead into what awaited the poor older man. “I heard someone was fighting at a bar, and almost got into some trouble, and you look like some of the patrons descriptions.”

"Shit!" Brandon jumps at the sudden voice, instinctively stumbling forward, before turning his head with a nervous look. "...You scared me, dude. I almost dropped my cigarette." He was too drunk that night to really remember anyone, so he can only assume that this guy is a friend of the man he fought with. But either way, he really doesn't wanna deal with this.
After a few seconds of regaining his composure, Brandon looks away, flicking his cigarette away and running his hand through his hair. "Uhhh... Anyway, I-I don't know what you're talking about," he says, although not very convincingly. He never was a good liar. "You must have the wrong guy..."

“Apologies, I didn’t mean to scare you. I was just passing by and thought you looked familiar.” Josh began to explain, his hands in his pocket silently hitting a button on his phone to record, having a plan slowly getting set into motion as he watched him. “You sure? I heard he was a pretty tough dude, and your details match.” Josh remarked as he stood there, leaning a bit against nothing as he watched him.
“It’s not a big deal really if you are. Heard the guy probably deserved it, but I was unable to really get a good lucky look at the fight.” Josh continued speaking, not breaking his tone as he remained as ambiguous as possible, even appealing to the man some secretively as he tried to drag out a confession by acknowledging a potential… ego boost to the man

Brandon scratches his cheek, not really able to keep a smile from forming on his face. He didn't realize he seemed tough. He doesn't normally get compliments on his admittedly lacking strength. "Well, I don't know about all that..." he says, his cheeks reddening just slightly.
"...I guess he did deserve it... probably. I'm, uh... kinda hazy on the details," he finally admits after a few moments of silence. He never was good at keeping secrets either. But this guy seemed cool, so it should be fine... he thinks. "Did you know the guy or something?"

“Nah, I just happened to be there when it happened, but I was just a bystander who didn’t really know the guy.” He remarked and smiled seeing he got a confession, but would ease into this as he looked around and thought. “.do you remember anything else from that situation, or did it just end at that for you?” He asked as he got a little closer and leans against the wall with him, seeing the flustered nature made him faintly chuckle.
“Also, you aren’t worried about that bounty hunter are you?” He randomly asked to go along with his previous question, knowing he was clueless to who he was and wanted to see his reaction before he set off his trap, having what he wanted

Brandon gives a nervous chuckle, looking down again. "Uh, no...? Not really. Most of what I know was just my friends tellin' me about it this mornin'..." He's not sure why, but this guy just seems so... intense. He doesn't look like trouble, though, and Brandon's never been good with strangers anyway. So he just figures it's his nerves getting the best of him.
He does tilt his head slightly at the mention of a bounty hunter, and reaches up to scratch his scruffy beard. "Huh? Bounty hunter?" He squints his eyes, trying to remember where he heard that from. "You mean that weirdo who spanks dudes? You don't actually believe in that, right?"
