Sitting tony down on the back the fire truck, so the nurse that came rushing up to them, could look over Tony. Steve ran a hand threw his hair sighing.

Fury came storming up to them "what the hell were you doing Stark, you blowing up the lab , people could have been hurt and Now we're going to have to cancel all labs till it is fix. "Im going to call your parents"

Steve cringed a little, fury radiated well fury.

Tony smiled at the nurses, cracking a few jokes to help ease the tention.

He scowled at Fury and rolled his eyes.
"I was working. And I'll pay for the damages. I always do," he said.
"Fine call them," he muttered, knowing Howard and Maria wouldn't really be too upset.

Steve crossed his arms, mulling over what tony just said.

Fury left to go do what he said. The nurse was finishin up disenfenfecting the last cut "alright tony, thats the last of it, in the future please try to follow all lab safety protocols" the nurse sighed closing her medical kit. She looked exasperated as she patted steve shoulder as she passed.

Steve stepped in front of tony stopping him from getting up by placing a hand on his shoulder. He had heard whispers in the halls about thing like this but whenever he asked tony about it he would brush it off. "So this is not the first time this has happened", bending down slightly to look him in the eye

Tony sighed, tying to pretend Steve's attitude wasn't unnerving him. When did the other boy get so...dominant?

He squirmed a little at the nurses words and frowned.
"Yeah, I'll just do that," he said, refraining from telling her to stick to her own job, and leave him in peace.


He looked up at Steve, trying to look innocent.
"Only twice before, and neither time was serious. Once wasn't even my fault."

Steve raised an eyebrow at him not believing a word out of his mouth. He decided *to let it go thinking tony would be in enough trouble with Howard as it was.


Sitting down next to him on the back of the fire engine. Steve waited with him, messaging *the mad genius *probably stiff muscles.


Howards car drove up to the scene looking around before spotting them, and marching up to them, "What the hell Anthony. This is the sixth time this year, that I have gotten a call to come in. I was about to leave for china, don't you know my time is valuable and I don't have the time, to come in every time you mess up. I'm using the money from your allowance *to pay for the damages. Now if you excuse me, I'm late for a meeting." He turned away, walking back to the car, Maria waving to them from the passenger seat , before they drove away. Steve staring at this with a twitch in his eye.

Tony sat silently as his father scolded him. He certainly understood the man's upset, and frowned deeply as Howard reamed him and then just left.

"Yeah, Dad, I'm fine, thanks for asking," he said as he drove away.
"This is my boyfriend Steve, by the way. He's pretty great, and I'm glad you two could finally meet," he finished as the car pulled away.

He sighed and glanced at Steve.
"Sorry about that."

Steve was fumming slightly, he had always known that tony and his dad didn't have the best relationship but never this bad. Tony could have gotten seriously hurt and Howard didn't care, so Tony probably thought why should he.

He was about to fix this so Tony would think twice before doing something so reckless again. " Not your fault, come on". He took him by the hand, leading him to the parking lot, where his motorcycle is, handing Tony a helmet before climbing on.

Tony winced at how understanding Steve was. He couldn't believe how much Steve supported him, and had to wonder what he did to deserve this man.

Tony stood and followed him, smiling at the helmet.
He slipped it on, buckling the strap.
"I'll be fine, Steve. I told you he didn't care."

"Yeah, I noticed that" Steve reved his engine and waited for Tony to climb on back before taking off. The ride was silent, steve thinking over what he had to do. He parked in his spot outside his dorm.

Grabbing tony hand as he led him inside to his room, his roommate was out of town so they had the room to themselves. Steve sat down on the bed , bringing tony to stand between his legs " You know I care for you very much, right? And that I would do anything to make sure you were safe"

Tony rose behind him, his arms around Steves slim waist, and his head rested on his broad shoulders.
He climbed off the motorcycle and followed him inside, smiling a little.

"I know, Steve. Listen, I need a shower. Let's order Chinese, and watch a movie?" He said, headed to the bathroom, grinning over his shoulder at him.
