Liam would have felt really bad if he'd known that his comment was making Crevan feel bad, he just was a bit frustrated and he wasn't used to Crevan lecturing him so it made him a bit snippy. He likely would get over that as Crevan did it more, since the kid was his guardian angel now, or guardian angel in training so it was probably going to happen a lot and Liam would have to get used to it. For now he just spoke without really thinking since most kids had issues thinking before they spoke and then walked towards the store before pausing when he saw the shop owner and saying maybe it wasn't a good idea. He looked at Crevan and was suprrised when the other boy said to give him the envelope but he nodded and smiled when Crevan finished, "Thanks Crevan" he said as he held the envelope out to the other boy to take, really grateful that Crevan was going to deliver it for him since he had risked a lot to get it he just didn't want to be seen giving it to the man. He waited patiently for Crevan to come back after delivering the letter and he looked visibly lighter now that they had done it, as if a weight were off his back. "You wanna head back to your place now or really go for a walk?" he asked, not really caring either way he'd gotten what he wanted done, done so they could do what Crevan wanted to do now.

If it had been anyone else then the words probably wouldn't have bothered him but since Liam was the only friend that he'd ever had Crevan was more affected by what he said and did so he ended up with his feelings hurt. But even so he still trailed along with the other boy as Liam made his way to the store that he had robbed before, the angel child sort of lost to his thoughts but when Liam stopped short and made his comment about coming back the following day Crevan looked up and saw the shop owner. The man was obviously distraught and Crevan didn't really blame Liam for not wanting to face the man so after a moment he held out his hand and told his friend to give him the envelope, saying that he'd deliver it. The little guy took the envelope and said quietly, "You're welcome." It was after all what friends were for, Crevan holding the envelope and turning away from his friend. As he walked toward the man he sort of faded from sight, Crevan making sure that no one would see him and since he had to concentrate in order to do this since he was holding something from the earthly plane even Liam wouldn't be able to see him. Walking over to the man Crevan slipped the envelope into the pocket of the coat that was hanging behind the register, it not being a stretch to think that it belonged to the man since it was chilly and the man was the only one there. Once that was done Crevan made his way back to Liam, appearing near the other boy and saying, "There, he'll find it when he sticks his hand in his pocket and it's in the same pocket as his keys so he'll definitely find it." When Liam asked if he wanted to head back or else really go for a walk, the little boy thinking about it for a minute before he said quietly, "We can head back, it's sort of getting late." He figured that Liam was probably exhausted after the day he'd had so he decided that it would probably be best if they headed back now that they'd done what his friend set out to do.

Liam smiled when Crevan accepted his thanks and took the envelope, relieved that his friend was doing this and he watched as the smaller boy walked towards the shopkeeper and then disappeared, which startled him but also was sort of something he was curious about. He stood on the corner and patiently waited for Crevan to return and when the boy did he listened as Crevan explained how the shop keeper was going to find the envelope and he nodded, "Good, thanks Crevan" he said again, hugging his friend and acting more like the 'old Liam' now that he wasn't so stressed out about what he'd done and how he'd hurt someone that really didn't deserve to be hurt. He nodded when Crevan said they could head back to his place, the child starting to walk that way and he really was tired after hte day he had, his body sore from the initiation and everything on top of that just added fuel to the fire. "You think that'll be enough for him to fix his window?" he asked as they walked back towards Malakai's apartment, since he had no idea how much that sort of thing costed but he was hoping it would pay most of it at least so the guy didn't end up in too tight of a spot. Soon after that they returned to Crevans and he waited for his friend to let them into the apartment since it just seemed wrong to let himself in when it wasn't his place. He followed Crevan inside then, looking around for Malakai and wondering where he was supposed to sleep. He wouldn't mind crashing on the couch or sharing a bed with Crevan or something if that was what they'd be doing but he didn't ask since he assumed Kai or Crevan would tell him and he was currently sleepy so he was fighting not to yawn as he followed Crevan inside, actually wondering if Crevan needed sleep any more than he needed to eat but he didn't ask that either.

Crevan was hoping that it didn't freak the man out too much to find the money in his pocket but that was the only place that the little guy was sure it would be found so it was what he had to go with. Once that was taken care of he made his way back to his friend and told Liam that he'd placed it in the man's pocket and then going on to explain how he was sure that it would be found. When Liam gave him a hug and thanked him Crevan smiled since that was more like the friend that he'd always known and it made him happy. The little angel boy thought about the question when Liam asked what he wanted to do and he suggested that they go back to the house that Malakai was using since he was pretty sure that his friend had to be tired at this point. And that was just made all the more clear when Liam agreed without an argument. Crevan looked at his friend when the other boy asked if he thought that the money he'd left would be enough to pay for the window and he thought about it for a minute before he nodded. "Should be more than enough...I broke one of ours once and it didn't take that much to fix," he said, sort of shuddering as he remembered that incident, as well as Keegan's words that he was going to take it out of the child's ass. Which he'd more or less done, well his back more than his butt but it was essentially the same. Crevan tried to shake that off and led the way back to the house, letting them in and going into the living room where Malakai was sitting on the couch more or less as he'd been when the boys had left. "I fixed up a bed for the two of you in the upstairs bedroom," he told them when Crevan and Liam joined him, his gaze sweeping over the two of them but he didn't say anything other than that. "Okay," Crevan said quietly, the little guy reaching out and taking Liam by the hand before leading him upstairs and to a bedroom that had a large bed that would be more than big enough for the two of them.

Liam thought that it might freak the man out a bit to find an envelope of money in his pocket when he finally did discover it, but maybe he would think that someone slipped in when he wasn't paying attention and put it there or something, and the guy would just be thankful to have it. When his friend returned he hugged him and thanked him for his help before the two agreed to head back, Liam pretty tired at that point and sore so he really didn't want to argue. Plus he was feeling pretty good now since he'd been fed and he took care of the shopkeeper thing so he didn't have to feel guilty about that anymore either. On the way back he asked about the money and nodded when Crevan said that it should be enough, the older boy of course noticing when Crevan shuddered and he wrapped a supportive arm around his friend but didn't say anything as they headed back. When they got there he looked over at Kai as the man told them there was a bed for them upstairs before letting Crevan take his hand and lead him up there, not protesting or really acknowledging the angels words he just headed up to the bedroom and kicked off his shoes before crawling into the bed and laying on his stomach, looking over at Crevan with a slightly fearful look in his eyes, "You'll be here when I wake up right?" he asked softly, sort of terrified that this was all just a really vivid dream and his friend would not be there when he woke up and he'd be all alone in the world again.

Crevan thought that his friend had done the right thing, since even as an angel he still possessed the little kid logic so in his eyes it hadn't been bad for his friend to take the money from Keegan and Ian, and he was glad that Liam seemed to be more relaxed now that it had been delivered. The two of them made their way back to the house at that point, Crevan assuring his friend that the shopkeeper most likely had more than enough money to repair the damage to the window, and when they reached the place he led the way inside where they found Kai sitting on the couch in pretty much the same spot where he'd been when they left, making Crevan wonder if he'd even moved at all. When the guardian angel told them that there was a bed for them upstairs the little guy nodded and then took his friend by the hand and led the way up to the bedroom. Once they were there he watched as Liam walked over and crawled into the bed, the little angel child following along and laying down beside his friend. Crevan looked a little startled at the fearful look he saw in Liam's eyes as the other child looked at him but the reason for that became clear when Liam asked his question. "I'll be right here beside you, your own special guardian angel," Crevan said quietly even if he wasn't, for all intents and purposes, actually Liam's guardian angel. He would be, once he was trained if he managed that in time to actually be of use to his friend, but for the moment he was just in training. Crevan started to softly sing in Gaelic at this point, trying to be soothing for his friend and he'd done this a few times when he was staying with Liam and the other boy had fallen victim to his father's wrath so he did know that it soothed him. Or at least it used to.

Liam was more relaxed than he had been in days after they delivered the money to the shop owner, since this was the first time in a while that he'd done something nice for someone and he'd forgotten how that made him feel. Of course he'd been the one that hurt the guy in the first place which sort of put a damper on it but he was still happy when he gave the money to the man so he wouldn't be hurt too badly by what happened. When they returned to Crevan's apartment he went upstairs and got into the bed with Crevan, unable to help being afraid that Crevan would be gone when he woke so he asked if he would still e there and looked reassured when Crevan told him that he would be, smiling a little when Crevan added the special guardian angel bit at the end since he sort of liked the idea of Crevan being his guardian angel. When his friend started to sing to him in Gaelic his eyes welled up for a moment, since the last person to do this for him had been his mother before she left but he was also soothed by it so he closed his eyes and quickly drifted off to sleep, feeling safe for the first time in longer than he could remember and even a little bit happy too. The next morning he woke up early, which was just a sort of survival instinct for him since Ian got mad if he slept too late, he called it 'wasting the day away' if the child slept past seven most mornings regardless of how late he went to bed the night before or if Ian had beaten him the night before. So he woke around six thirty and looked around in confusion for a few moments before remembering everything that happened the night before and turning his head to see if Crevan was really still there or if it had been a figment of his imagination or a weird ass dream brought on by being kicked in the head one too many times during his gang initiation.

The little smile that appeared on Liam's face when he told the other boy that he was his own special guardian angel made Crevan smile as well, the angel child snuggling against his best friend and just happy that the two of them were together again. He could tell that his friend was tired so he started singing a Gaelic lullaby in the hopes of soothing him and he was pleased when Liam drifted off to sleep. Crevan stayed with him that night, sleeping himself since he required sleep even if he didn't need to eat, but he was awake before Liam and when the other boy stirred and looked over at him Crevan offered him a small smile as he said, "Morning." He pushed himself up into a sitting position now that Liam was awake, not having wanted to disturb him before, The little angel child sort of gazed at his friend in contemplation for a minute before he made his decision and started to speak. "Liam...what happened last night was really dangerous. Please promise me that you won't do it again." There was an almost pleading tone to Crevan's voice when he made this request of his friend, not wanting to see Liam get hurt.

Liam was more than happy to snuggle up with Crevan, enjoying feeling close to his only friend again and oddly feeling safe here with Crevan even though in life the other boy had not been able to protect him from anything and he hadn't been able to protect Crevan either, it still reassured him to have the other boy there. The next morning Liam had a brief moment of confused panic when he woke up and found himself in an unfamiliar place but then he looked over and saw Crevan and he returned the small smile that the other boy gave him, relieved and happy that Crevan really was still there and this hadn't all been a crazy dream. "Morning" He said back as he stretched, happy to find that his bottom didn't really hurt anymore as he sat up and looked at his friend. When Crevan spoke up again the child sobered a little and sort of looked guilty at the pleading tone in Crevan's voice since he felt bad that he'd freaked Crevan out but he couldn't really promise something like that to his friend, "I cant. Don't know if I can keep it. I can promise I wont do it again without a really good reason though." He said softly, since he never wanted to lie to Crevan and he knew how important promises were to his friend so he wasn't willing to give one that he might not be able to keep later.

Crevan spent a very peaceful night cuddled up with his friend, enjoying the closeness and just having Liam with him again after a year of only being able to see the now older boy from a distance. When morning came and Liam looked over at him Crevan offered him a smile and morning greeting, the child smiling wider when that was returned by his best friend. He was quiet for a minute after pushing himself up to a sitting position but then something occurred to him and he looked at his friend and asked for a promise that Liam wouldn't do anything as dangerous as what he'd done the night before and he frowned when Liam said that he couldn't. "Why not?" Crevan asked quietly when the older boy said that, not really appeased by the promise that he did get since he wasn't even sure what Liam would see as a good reason. And while he did appreciate the fact that his friend wasn't giving him an empty promise Crevan sitll didn't like the prospect of him doing something like that again. "Liam, please? If either Ian or Keegan had came out and seen what you were doing you know what would've happened," the child said, a lump growing in his throat as he thought about what that would have meant for his friend. "I would have helped you but that would have probably made things worse." He wasn't sure how it would have made things worse sine it probably would have freaked both men out but the child instinctively knew that it wouldn't have been a good thing to do.
