Fantasy Shenanagins (For GloriousDeath)
Ah the tavern, the place where all walks of life can wet their whistle. Music from the bards fill the air, the sound of darts hitting a wall and coins being exchanged can be heard over the muttering of people. This was really the melting pot of any city! Of course, you don’t have the ‘highest of the highs’, but you have some important people down to the ruffians of the street here. It really felt like everyone was equal, in some weird and round about way.
Sitting at one of the tables with a large mug of honey ale is Senica. A mountain dwarf who's just people watching. Being secluded most of her life, it was a nice change of pace! She never saw so many different races and people, it was exciting! She didn’t stare for too long, she knew what that got you. But, as her legs kicked, she was having the time of her life as she drank. Her cheeks were peachy as she clearly already had a few.
There's also Leveret, a large bunny woman (harengon) who was sitting at the bar. Writing something in her journal, the girl kept nibbling on the bowl of nuts that was left in front of her. She paid for her spot as she occasionally ordered a glass of regional wine. She seemed to keep to herself, but every so often, she’d look up before going back. Finally, with a slam of her journal, she closed the book and took the bowl of nuts over to a quest board. She needs some way to make some quick cash.

In the centre of the bar, partying up with several friends was Valis, an elf with purple hair. She wore a red leotard and by her stool sat a wooden magic staff. She was currently raising a wine glass up into the air and laughing surrounded by several other adventurers.
Meanwhile, a girl dressed in very exotic combination of dress and armor walked into the bar, in her hands was an ornate battle trident. The girl seemingly ignored everything as she walked straight to the quest board.
(sorry I got distracted so much)

(No problem whatsoever!)
Leveret rolled her eyes everytime the loud elf would raise her stupid glass and caused the crowd around her to obnoxiously laugh. Oh it made her want to pull her hair out! Finally, she had enough. With growling teeth, she hopped down from her stool and approached the woman “Do you mind taking this ‘lovely’ conversation to one of the tables? Some of us are doing some actual work and would enjoy it if your common squabble was drowned out by the other asinine aventures this tavern resides”
Now that’s something you don’t see every day! Okay, Senica hasn’t seen a lot of the things, nor people, who walked through the bar. But this trident lady was special, she could just feel it. Creeping over to the quest board, she also looked. She had no idea what she was looking for, but she wanted to look busy. Finally, she picked a random ransom, of course one of the hardest ones with the biggest reward. “Pfft, a seasoned adventurer like me could do this with a hand tied behind my back” she tried to impress the girl through her drunken fog.

The elf girl didn't seem to notice the aproaching woman, just continuing to chat and party. But as the Haregon adressed her, Valis turned to her with an annoyed look "Hey, whoever you are, chill out. This is a tavern first and foremost, partying is literally what it's here for. The only work anyone ever does here is to find quest and I doubt I'm stopping you from that. If you want to do some nerd stuff do it at the library.". She then held out a hand grasping her mug and one of the crowd members was quick to refil it from his own. "But since you're here, how about you have some fun?!" she said as she showed the cup into Leveret's hand.
The trident girl looked at the quest the dwarf had picked out, yaking the paper from the board "Oh yes, this seems like the quest I was looking for....". And then she looked down at the dwarf, as if throwing the numbers in her head "....But since you found it first, I feel I need to ask if you would like to work together for this?".

She was clearly the smallest around, but she likes to think her voice commands some presence around simpletons. “First of all, a tavern’s main design is for a place to rest between town to town and for the social interactions between all walks of life, not ‘partying’. Secondly, I was banned from the local library. But we do not need to get into that now shall we. What I am suggesting is you take your conversation to the middle where it’s the noisiest and leave the bar area. You can still talk about…whatever you were speaking of, and I could finally get some peace” Leveret added. “Yeah…no, I quite enjoy having a brain thank you very much. I’ll stick to my tea” she said, as snooty as ever.
“WHAT!? ARE YOU SERIOUS!?” Senica blurted out. That was not what she was expecting to hear, but she couldn’t be happier! Clearing her throat and trying to play it cool after geeking out, she leaned against the board and shrugged her shoulders “I guess we could do this together or something. It’s been a while since I traveled with someone. Most people can’t keep up with me, you know”
