Bothwren smirked at Aela's offer, but decided not to comment. She would surely take her up on such an offer, though when Aela least expected it. At the offer if oil, the Redguard smiled at the huntress. "I'm grateful for the offer, but I have a husband for duties like that." She chuckled, before making sure her appearance was fully in order. Without waiting for Aela, the Harbinger made her way up the stairs to see if her discipline was needed.

"Oh yes, forgot about it" Aela rolled her eyes, glad at least to know Bothwren wasn't angry at her. Aela didn't go upstairs, though. She put the slipper back to where it belonged before she walked to her own bedroom. Not to sleep, but she simply needed to lay down and rest a bit. With some luck, she thought smiling, she would soon be able to hear a spanking somewhere.

Bothwren made her way to where Athis normally rested his head. She found the Summer lounging around, though a bruise on his forehead was clear evidence that he'd recently been a brawl. "Athis!" She shouted to get the attention of the man. "What's this I hear about you and Njada having another fight? That makes three this week!" She folded her arms across her chest and stared him down with intensity. "If this happens again, you'll wish you'd never thrown a punch in your life!"

The Dark Elf was surprised by that. He'd expect Aela to come in and scold, even spank him sometimes, but that was the first time the new Harbinger had taken the matter in her own hands. He'd be glad to see she was starting to do that, ifit wasn't him she was yelling at. So Athis merely rolled his eyes as he spoke: "Me and Njada fight all the time. Besides, it was her fault - she assaulted me, I was only acting in self defense"

Bothwren would be normally considered this a valid excuse, but in this situation she needed to be firm. "Self defense, eh? Even if I believed that, she wouldn't have fought you at all of the two of you didn't brawl like angry children. As the new Harbinger, I'm stepping up to keep everyone in line." She scowled st Athis as he rolled his eyes. "And you'd be wise to fix your attitude. Unless you'd prefer I fixed it for you?"

"Well, I'm sorry" Athis said, thinking it would be easier to get away if he simply agree with her. He didn't know if Bothwren was willing to spank the whelps, but if she was, he didn't want to risk that. "Is that everything, Harbinger?" He asked respectfully. Athis just hoped that Bothwren wouldn't go on and punish him even after his apologies.

Bothwren thought for a moment before nodding her head. "I'm glad we've reached an understanding. But remember: if even a single punch is thrown, you and Njada are both in for a world of pain." With Athis taken care of, the Harbinger made her way to the yard, witnessing Njada and Ria sparring. The sound of clashing steel wasn't new to her, but now there was a much more refined note to it. She chose not to interfere for now, planning on letting Njada tire herself out and be less able to fight back or struggle.

"No, you don't have to put that much strength" Njada spoke up as she attacked Ria once more. Unlike her earlier fight with Athis - which was an all out fist fight -, this time it was simply a sparring session. Njada, being herself a very experienced shield user, was glad to help Ria to improve her own defensive skills. "Yes, that's better. But try not to stumble too. Now hit me"

That went on for over ten minutes before Ria finally called a break. Njada herself was too stubborn to admit that, but she was almost relieved that Ria did so, because she was also feeling tired. She usually couldn't keep it going for a longer time, but she was still a bit tired after fighting Athis.

"Good technique, both of you." Bothwren praised, standing from her seated position at a table and making her way over. Aside from a small nod, she paid Ria little attention. Instead, she focused soley on Njada, with a stern expression on her face. "I was told that you and Athis had yet another spontaneous brawl earlier. I've already settled things with him, but now I must tell you the same thing. You will cease these senseless fights at once, or pay dearly. Am I understood?" The Redguard crossed her arms in an authoritive pose, just begging for Stone-Arm to challenge her words.

Njada smirked at the compliment, while Ria thanked the Harbinger. As they both were to take a seat, however, Njada stopped right in her track as she faced Bothwren in confusion. The reason for her confusion was that so far, the new Harbinger hadn't done anything other than ask one of the other members of the Circle to deal with troubles around Jorravskr. It surprised her, and she didn't like being talked to like that. Njada didn't want to risk a spanking, especially outside, but st the same time she didn't want and wouldn't back down. So she crossed her arms too and sighed, but refused to look away from the Harbinger's eyes.

"Whatever you say." She finally said. Just that moment someone came out of the door, and by the corner of her eyes Njada noticed it was Aela. "I mean, yes, Harbinger." She quickly corrected herself in a more respectful voice and uncrossed her arms.

Aela sent Bothwren a knowing gaze, but other than that didn't do anything as she walked right past them. She wanted to make the message clear to the Harbinger - this time, Bothwren was by herself. Aela wouldn't be stepping into it, and she definitely would not be happy if the Harbinger backed down now. This time, Aela was no more than an onlooker.
