Ariana came out of the guest room, dressed for the day. She found Natalie in the kitchen, preparing breakfast.

The smell of bacon and eggs entered Ariana's nostrils and she let out a little sigh of content - it had been ages since she'd had a breakfast like this. She mostly had energy bars or little packets of cereal for breakfast. It was hard sometimes caring for yourself but it taught her not to take anything for granted.

"Oh, good morning," Natalie said after she turned around, hearing someone sigh. "Was the bed okay?"

Ariana nodded. "It was perfect, like heaven."

"That's good to hear. Listen, how long are you planning on staying? I don't want to blackmail you or anything, but I'm not sure Samantha would take you leaving very well."

"Yeah, I've thought about it, too," Ariana replied. "I think it's best we wait to discuss it with Samantha."

Samantha felt kinda awkward, knowing that she was the major part of this conversation. She took a moment to think about how to handle this, then got up and walked out in her night gown.

"Good morning..." she said, attempting to fake a yawn to suggest that she hadn't been up as long as she had been. "It smells yummy in here" she continued, enjoying the scent's of breakfast filling the apartment.

Natalie moved over to her daughter and hugged her motherly like. "Good morning, Samantha. Did you sleep well in Mommy's bed?" she questioned.

Ariana looked after the food for Natalie, making sure it wouldn't burn.

Samantha nodded and hugged back. "It was really comfy... did I fall asleep in the living room?" she asked, suddenly noting the lack of Cotton and looking out to see if he was on the couch.

It was a bright sunny day in Saffron City, and the sound of general hustle and bustle was going on outside the window.

"Yeah, sweetie, you did," Natalie answered, giving a little giggle. "You must have been very tired to just fall asleep there like that."

Sam went out into the living room and got Cotton from the couch, then returned to the table and sat up in her usual spot.

"Thank you for staying the night, Ariana. I had a lot of fun" she said smiling at the trainer. "But... are you going to leave town today?"

She knew she couldn't keep her friend away from her Pokemon Adventure, but she also didn't want to lose her. Maybe they could trade phone numbers or something? She didn't really use the phone much, mainly because she didn't have anyone to call on a regular basis. But they still had it since it was pretty much mandatory to have some kind of contact these days... even if the school used it and got her in trouble on occasion.

Samantha's shuddered for a minute as she remembered some of those incidents as well as the ones from the day before. She hoped she could go without a spanking today and tried to make a mental note to be on her best behavior...

Ariana turned and smiled at Samantha. "Well, that's something we're all going to discuss." She sat down where she sat last night and ruffled Samantha's hair softly. "I'm not leaving until we arrive at a mutual decision." Ariana found that she had swiftly grown fond of the little girl, finding her to be like a little sister.

She didn't really want to leave the girl behind, but even if she had to, she would definitely keep in regular contact.

Natalie served breakfast up and sat down. "Well, I know one very easy solution."

"What's that?" Ariana questioned.

"Samantha and I come with you."

Samantha turned to look at her mom with a big surprised look on her face, and hopped over to her Mom!

"Can we mommy? Can we?"

She practically was jumping for joy into her mother's arms at the suggestion.

"I promise I'll do all my homework and be good and follow the rules and - and - and -"

She was nearly as energetic as she was the night before after the ice cream, but her excitement was very obvious.

Natalie laughed and took Samantha onto her lap to keep the girl from bouncing. "Yes, baby girl, we can. I've already given it lots of thought. We can get your uncle to look after the flat, I already asked him last night and he said yes."

Samantha's uncle was her father's brother. Even if Samantha's father didn't care about her, her uncle certainly did.

Samantha squeezed her mommy tight and gave a bunch of little kisses to her cheek. "Oh thank you-thank you-thank you mommy! I love you so much!"

The little girl was extremely excited and was grinning from ear to ear. She then turned to look at Ariana, realizing there were a couple details that she had forgotten about.

"Um, do I get my own Pokemon and stuff? I don't actually know what happens on a Pokemon Adventure..."
