Tony thought about it and nodded, grinning, "I know the perfect film, since you're into all the war stuff." he said, excitement in his tone and he went to retrieve 'Saving Private Ryan' and then held it up to Mommy. "This is a good movie!"

Thor chuckled, "No baby, now come on." he tucked him into the bed and brushed a large hand through his hair, "Goodnight Loki."

Bruce smiled and kissed his head, "Sleep tight honey, we'll be right outside if you need anything."

Steve frowned at the cover and asked tentatively, "What's it about, baby?"

Loki grabbed both their hands and sat up straight, "Wait! Why are you doing this? Why aren't I locked up, why... Why do you even care? I'm... evil."

"It's about this soldier who gets lost or something and his army friends go to find him." Tony explained, "You like war stuff, and this is super gory! Like the first scene is just....mind blowing!"

Thor and Bruce both looked at one another, and then Bruce bent down by his bed and smiled. "Loki, you're not evil, you can just be naughty sometimes." he explained.

Thor nodded and sat down on the bed, pulling Loki onto his lap. "And we're here to help you."

"Oh," Steve said, looking down at the film. He had seen far too much bloodshed in this lifetime to be able to see death as entertainment, though he knew Tony couldn't understand that. His baby wasn't a soldier and he would never, ever want him to be. He swallowed, then asked quietly, "Would you mind very much if I asked to watch another film?"

"I was a bit more than naughty," Loki mumbled, staring at Bruce as he wrapped his arms around Thor's neck, "How d'you know I don't deserve to be helped?"

Tony frowned a little in confusion, "I thought you liked war stuff?" he asked but nodded, putting the DVD away and looking through the collection again. "Um....why don't you choose, Mommy?"

Both smiled and nuzzled him affectionately, "Because your a good kid, and you just need some guidance." Bruce answered and Thor nodded, tucking Loki back into bed.

"Yes, you're our amazing little boy, but you must rest."

"Not... ones as specific as that, Tony," Steve explained, "it'd just bring up a lot of bad memories," Steve knelt down and smiled a little, "I don't 'spose you'd want to watch Casablanca, would you?"

"I'm not amazing though!" Loki cried, tears welling in his eyes. The very fact their faith in him was so strong made him realise what terrible things he'd done. The started to roll down his face and he clutched the sheets, "I-I'm an awful person! I-I should be killed for what I've done."

Tony pulled a face at him and shook his head, "That sounds like a boring board game, never mind a film." he answered and yawned loudly and widely. "I'm so tired..." he groaned, laying his head on Steve's arm.

Thor frowned and was about to rag Loki out of bed and give him fifty hard smacks across his bare bottom, but Bruce swooped in and lifted Loki into his arms, rocking him back and forth. "No you should not, Loki." he said sharply and he wiped away the tears. "Don't EVER say that, we love you and we're going to help you, you did something naughty and Daddy spanked you, now your forgiven and we can move on." he explained and laid down with him, "Shh, it's alright baby."

"Then why don't you have a nap?" Steve suggested, smiling at his incorrect description of Casablanca.

"I-I'm so sorry!" Loki began to cry, wrapping his arms around Bruce's neck and allowing his mommy to rock him back and forth, "I just... a-are you sure you're not mad at me?"

"You do know I'm not a kid right?" Tony asked blankly but in all honesty a nap sounded good. "Sure...guess Daddy got busy....we were all meant to go somewhere....doesn't matter." he said before trudging off to his room and flopping down on the bed on his stomach. Coulson would rather be with Fury than with him anyway....

Bruce kissed his head and shook his own, "No baby, we're not mad at you, everything's going to be okay." he explained pulling the blankets over the two of them, "Mommy's here, don't be upset."

Thor smiled and went to turn out the light before going back to the living room.

"Could've fooled me," Steve muttered, sighing as he watched Tony stalk off. He really needed to talk more, adult or not.

"Y-you'll stay with me," Loki asked, sniffling and clinging to his mommy, "You'll stay 'til I fall asleep?"
