Your Heroes or Idols
Hey everybody. I was very curious as to who everybody's heroes were. Like are they family, actors, activists, people of the past, someone you don't even know. etc.
I'll start it off with saying my heroes are Steve Irwin (He saved alot of animals people, not just *piss* them off) My favorite actor Sean Bean, My sister, and alot of characters from books. And Ottovan Bismark a bit also.
Yes, a majority of my heroes aren't real, yet they are the peopel I want to achieve to be.
Well come now!~ Let's hear all of yours.

I'd say my idols are Einstein, Jesus Christ, Mahatma Gandhi, Miguel Bosé and Shigeru Miyamoto.
Heck, that's a strange combination of people.

The obvious ones like Mandela, Martin Luther King, and some people that created social change indirectly, or unwittingly, like Peter Wildeblood, whose testimony to the Wolfenden Committee on Homosexuality, led, eventually to homosexuality becoming de-criminalised in Great Britain. There was also a couple called Loving (appropriately enough) in America in 1967 who were inter-racial, and whose marriage bought about its legalisation. This explains it better. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loving_v._Virginia

Two of my biggest heroes are Marquis de Sade and Leopold von Sacher-Masoch. The forefather's of S&M. Hell, sadomasochism is a combination of their names.
Another of my heroes is Trent Reznor, possibly one of the greatest song writers ever.

My heroes aren't just everybody I like in the world (not that I'm saying your are anyone). My one true hero is Godzilla. Yes, ever since I was a kid. Now hear me out, the thought of a huge powerful monster helping to get rid of other monsters is very inspiring believe it or not. Plus hes pretty cool. I looked up to him as someone who could always protect everyone, and thats what I want to do for everyone I love.

First and foremost; Lucifer. He had the gull to tell man that they were naked even if it was a painful truth. He was willing to cause pain to have honesty be known. I find that inspiring, because the truth is not always painless. It may enchain you instead of set you free, but it's better to live with that than to hide behind lies.
Jesus Christ. He was without a doubt loving beyond the norm. He died for sinners and he loved sinners. He said not to judge and many other important things, most what was ignored...
If you find that to be a contradiction...oh well.
