A deep sigh comes from her as she shakes her head “I’m sorry, I should have just kept this inside. let’s go find May and-“ she’s cut off when she feels his rough hands touch her soft ones. A gentle blush forms on her cheeks as she finally has the courage to look at him. She slowly nods her head taking his scolding to heart. She knows she’s been acting weird and cruel to her, but she needed someone to snap some sense into her. “Ash…I know but…I’m sorry. I’ll try to be nicer to her, it’s just hard fearing that she’s going to take you away from me. Maybe this Pokemon just needs to be caught” she says softly. She holds onto his hands tightly “you promise you’re not telling me you like me just to calm me down?” she says with a small smile on her face

Ash couldn't help but to mirror that small smile, though he knew this was no smiling matter. Oh, but she was so pretty in this shy, blushing state.
"Misty, I'd never do anything like that. I wouldn't lie to you - well, not in that way." Gently, gradually he loosened his grip on her hands, allowing them to fall to her sides, at last. "You're kind and brave and smart and -" did he dare call her beautiful? It would probably sound overly soppy - "alot of other great things. But I can't just stand by and let you push my other friends around."
He took in the expression on her face before going on, more gently now. "Misty, I'll help you if you need help. I wont make you fight your feelings alone. But we've got to do something about the way you treat people sometimes."

She rolls her eyes chuckling gently “wow, you know just what to say to a girl Ash” she says in a joking manner. She places a hand on her wrist listening to him speak “allot of other great things? You are on fire Ash, do I need to call Starmie to put it out?” she giggles before she sees his tone getting more serious. “I guess I do need a little help, but I’ll try to be nicer around her, I swear! I just…lost my control a little back there” she nibbles on her lips “do you think I hurt her too bad?” she sighs loudly “I know, I’ll go apologize now and hopefully we can let by gones be by gones” she nods her head before she holds out her hand “are you coming?”

Ash took her hand, gently halting her. "I don't think you understand, Misty. It isn't about how badly she was hurt. Its about the fact you were aggressive at all. And you saying you don't have any power to control yourself doesn't make anything better. Just saying you're sorry won't fix things, either. Misty . . .we all love you, but you need help. I dont mean you're crazy -" (well, maybe she was, just a little, but not always in a bad way -"but we need to do something more than just talk about it."

She stays silent nodding her head. “it’s not that I don’t have any control over myself, I just lost my control back there” she sighs gently holding onto the hand tighter. “I know I need help, but we can get through this together! Come on Ash, this can all be water under the bridge. We can start anew” she frowns nodding her head “fine, it seems as though your mind is set. What do you want me to do to make it up to her?” she asks softly.

"If I were you, I'd tell May I was sorry and tell her why I acted the way I did. We're all friends, and friends are honest with each other. If May gets to understand why you acted the way you did, she'll realize you two are still friends, that you don't just hate her and you're still the same girl she knew.
"But all four of us need to talk about coming up with something we can do if this ever happens again."

Misty stays silent thinking of what he just said before a loud groan comes from her “she’s gonna think that’s stupid Ash. We’re not like guys who can just brush everything off. What if she has feeling for you also? Huh, that’s going to make the situation even worse” she nibbles on her lips before she speaks “can’t you just say…we talked about it?” she sighs quietly “fine, I guess you’re right, we do have to make something up if this ever happens again” she places a hand on her hip “before we bring it up to the ground, what were you thinking?”

she rolls her eyes and follows "fine, but it feels like you're sending me to houndooms" when she sees the couple. she frowns and awkwardly walks over. "hey May...so about earlier" May doesn't look up from the pokeball she's fiddling with in her hands. Misty speaks again "I just want to say sorry, I acted like a brat because of jealousy and I pushed someone that I cared about away" May sighs gently and nods her head "you can say that again...I'm not sure if I can fully forgive you right now, but I can try"

"May," Brock said gently, "Misty really does care about you. Remember who you are,and dont let those bad times make you bitter."
