Master of the Dragons Hide (For Night Kyle)

“Very good.” Says victor. “I forgive you but I’ll need you to come with me to the village you’ve been ransacking so you can apologize. The paralysis should be wearing off anytime soon.”
Victor continued to pet his head and neck in a gentle manner to let him know that his punishment was over and that he was no longer in trouble. After another few minutes the paralysis wore off and nightmare was free to move once again.

nightmare blushed as victor continued to pet him, and he felt somehow comforted by him he looked up at him "do i have to apologize? its really humiliating..." nightmare sighed and a small puff of smoke came out from his mouth, nightmare soon regained the movement in his legs but he stayed still, he was enjoying the petting victor was giving him, and he wanted to wait till victor finished

“I’m afraid that you’ll have to show a little humility. Don’t worry though most people find it virtuous.” He said continuing to comfort him after his punishment.
“Also I never caught your name or asked who you were. Mind if I ask what it is.” Says victor.

nightmare whimpered as he heard he had to do it, but he still flt comfort from victor so he nodded"o-oh, my name is, nightmare" he said to see victors reaction "and whats yours?" he asked

“I’m Rosen Victor protector of the realm and currently acting king.” Says victor with pride and honor. He then looked down at the young dragons face and saw that he was responding well to the comfort.
“And don’t worry. You’ve been punished enough so I’ll make sure they don’t punish you further.” He said.

nightmare looked over to victor in shock "y-your the king?? w-what are you doing here??" nightmare tensed up and imagined what would have happened if he had beaten victor, what his servents would do, nightmare relaxed more as victor told him he wouldn't be punished any longer

“Acting king that is. The real king is still very much alive but is currently fighting the blight in the East. So I am looking after the realm well he and many other Lords go and fight.” He say with a sigh of exhaustion.
“It’s been very busying having to deal with so many problems that would usually be handled by local lords if they weren’t off fighting.” He says.

nightmare listens to victor as he tells of the kingdom and how it is going, "so do you think your kingdom is weak right now? like it could be overthrown by something like, a dragon?" he asked and waited to see victors response

Victor looks back down at him sharply. “If you’re thinking about trying something I might just have to pull out my leather sword sharpener and give you a little dose of that. No the kingdom is still very strong and others should be grateful for the work we do keeping back the blight otherwise everyone would become slaves to their unholy legions. Including dragons.” Victor than sighs.
“Sorry I don’t mean to snap at you. You’re young and boastful and probably smarter and stronger than you look.”

nightmare looked up at victor as he looked sharply at him! nightmare wasn't expecting victor to threaten him with a leather implement! and it made him whimper a little, it sounded to painful to him, "s-sorry" nightmare said and was once again suprized at victors kind personality, "i-its ok...i-i think i deserved that" nightmare said
