Rhei admitted that he didn’t see much changes; these two are young adults but were still older and wiser than the teen himself. So mask or no mask, she was still the one older.

Rhei stepped back once he saw the little red pixie fly right up to his face. “Whut in the...?” He blinked but had to remember that this place was full of dark butterflies and mind controlled puppets.

“Reckless...? Cuter?” He blushed slightly, right before he looked at another but black.

“Uhm, hey... well, when it’s grilled.”

"Hmmm. Acceptable." amended Plagg.

Tikki smacked him lightly.

"Oh how rude we are being! We forgot introductions! I’m Tikki, Ladybug’s kwami, and this cheese-obsessed kwami is Plagg! We are the source of Marinette and Adrien’s powers.”

Plagg grumbled and flew over to Adrien.
Adrien was smiling.

"Since you like grilled cheese, I’ll make some grilled cheese sandwiches.”
He left the room, his kwami following closely, mumbling about Camembert.

Marinette was finally able to get a word in.

“So hey. Sorry for all the babbling. My real name is Marinette. Adrien and I are college students, and we’ve been superheroes for about five years.”

“R-Rhei... but I need to know one thing, where did you two come from?” He returned both hands to his rear, rubbing it softly. He hoped that the spanking she gave him wouldn’t be hard compared to what’s to arrive... As the teen looked over at Marinette, he gave a nod and stopped rubbing.

“So, like a puppet? Marionette... uhm, do I get my own superhero costume too? Can I get a name as well? I’ve been doing this for... well, a year...”

“Us kwamis are from another world,” explained Tikki, “a world which is bonded to this one. Anciently, humans thought we were Gods. We share our powers with a few chosen ones, to help keep the world safe!”

Marinette nodded, while sitting down on a couch. She added:

“As for you, I guess the Guardian could lend you a kwami while you are on earth. But you are already strong and powerful, so I’m not sure you’d need one. Speaking of your powers...”

Marinette winced and rolled her pant leg up. Her calf was charred, all along the side, and she hissed in pain.

“You said you can heal this?” she asked Rhei through gritted teeth.

“A Guardian?! Give me one of those little things? I love one of those! I can be a wolf or a feral creature!” Rhei punched his hand with excitement. He wanted to have one of those Kwami and become a superhero just like his two new teammates.

However his anticipation would have to be put on hold as his eyes looked straight at the burn. He let out a wince, remembering that time when he was about to vanquish the akumatized teacher, but got Marinette by acccident.

“Y-yeah...” he answered with guilt in his tone and expression. He took out his green blade so he could point it into the air. “Marinette!” He commanded, where a green light shone around her leg.

Before she knew it, her leg slowly healed and every burn she had faded away. Rhei letcout a deep sigh and went to sit down next to her. “I’m really sorry about that... I didn’t mean to hit you on purpose...”

Marinette sighed in great relief as her leg was healed.

“Hm, I know. You meant to hit a poor akumatized victim instead.”

Adrien came back, with grilled sandwiches for everyone and a cookie for Tikki.

“Oh yeah, you have to learn to tell the difference between an Akuma and a Shadow — or I guess, a Heartless. The Akuma are just people, controlled by a villain named Hawkmoth,” he explained, before digging in.

“I’ll try. Both are covered in darkness so it was hard to tell the difference...” he stated, rubbing his hair. Once he finished; he leaned forward to speak to the two adults;

“So what are the rules living here? And what are your plans to getting rid of the Heartless?”
