Moody, Violet, and Fun (Tangerine and Bee)
Iconic as its residents were renowned, the T-shaped tower only hosted one member of the team at the time. The rest of the gang were outside. Not necessarily to fight crime, but to kill some time. Like usual, the less social member of the team had opted to spare herself this pastime. She liked being alone. Things were rather quiet and calm in the building, and she certainly didn’t complain. A temporary tranquillity in which the young heroine could meditate without an unwelcome disturbance from her overly cheerful team members, a trait she didn’t share. At least, she would have been meditating if she hadn’t been tasked to welcome a guest until her friends’ eventual return.
One had to spend some time in the lifts to ascend to the living quarters. A ride it was worth the wait, in this case. Enclosed by floor to ceiling windows, the view was splendid on the top floor of the team’s headquarters. Instead of admiring the view, the heroine looked in a tall mirror in the living room, to make sure she looked ok. She sported a dark leotard that complemented her light grey skin. The one-piece garment wrapped her body rather firmly. While it offered great mobility, it had a side effect of defining her curves more than necessary. At 5’4, she didn’t stood quite tall, but the garment made her pale legs look longer by baring them.
Framed in violet-blue shoulder length locks, her charming visage included a mild frown. Since she thought of this as an errand, Raven didn’t look particularly glad to entertain a guest during her friends’ absence as if she were a glorified doorman. Moody and not so cheery, playing the hospitable host wasn’t exactly a job for her.
“Wonderful…” The sarcastic half-demon sighed as her ears caught the little beep, which announced the arrival of the lift, presumably with her guest in it. “I haven’t even worn my cape.” Drawing one of her hands behind her, the heroine tucked a finger into her leotard to pull out the narrow strip of fabric that ran between her pale buttocks.

Transferring over from the eastern part of state, Duke was a little thrown off by the tower when he had spotted it on the drive over. It was a marvel really, but it's shape and isolated location made it stand out in a way that had him constantly staring at the building. Of course, he got over this feeling of awe once he was actually inside and ascending up the floors.
Initially he had expected the whole team to greet him for the interview but instead he was going to be paired with the...alien one? No, that wasn't it. Tapping his pencil lightly along his leg, he racked his brain for information on his current subject today although he was truthfully drawing blanks. All that came to mind when he remembered the name "Raven" was the shadowy one. Not much talking. Generally to herself. Not much known about her publicly either.
"Guess we'll find out..." He'd muttered to himself, fixing his cream colored polo and running a hand through his short cropped dark hair. Stepping out from the elevator he was greeted to the sight of the heroine herself and immediately he noticed the contrasts between the two. Where he was on the taller side with a darker skin tone, she was pale and shorter. Likewise while he was more of lean frame she had...curves. Quite a bit of curves actually.
Duke found himself staring again, only managing to peel his eyes away just before she could notice his ogling.
"Hey! Um...afternoon. I'm Duke Anderson. I'm a writer who does pieces primarily on meta-humans and just how their lives are. How are you?"

The five private rooms that belonged to each respective member of the group all looked a bit different from each other to reflect their owner’s personality. Other than that, the interior of the tower was similar to a lounge. Neither a dark cave, nor an unearthly fortress, it offered comfort and some leisurely moments. According to Raven however, the energetic and upbeat alien she thought the writer had come here to talk with tended to make it a bit difficult to just lie down and relax. Too bad that exceedingly outgoing redhead was not at home to personally welcome him.
Upon hearing her guest introduce himself, she kept staring in the mirror, allowing the man to admire her backside a bit more, if he wished so. Unhurriedly, the heroine eventually turned around the face the writer. “Really?” Raised eyebrows mimicked a surprise. “And I thought you were a random stranger who somehow managed to slip through our security systems.” Half-closed eyes inspected the guest. At first glance, he seemed to be a decent person, although his host was hard to impress. She lifted an arm, her palm facing upwards. Her hooded cape was summoned to her hand. The mystical abilities she possessed allowed her to be a bit lazy, after all.
“She’ll be here soon.” Raven suggested as she wore her cape. The garment wasn’t abundantly long, but long enough to cover her pale bottom. “Or won’t. I don’t care.” Given how easy it was to distract the Tamaranean, Raven was indeed unsure when her friend might show up. And if that little star were to take her sweet time, Raven could be stuck in this situation for a long time. Hardly as extrovert as her friend, she wasn’t aware Duke had actually come for her. Raven, of course, was confident that her own back-story would make an equally interesting article, but she rarely bothered herself with interviews. In a way, she was more alien than her teammate.
“Do you want something to drink, Duke Anderson?” The blue haired heroine asked. “Well the kitchen is over there.” An invisible force pulled out a chair at a nearby table. “Make yourself comfortable.”

While Duke had been raised as a polite boy who grew up into an equally respectable man...he wasn't blind. It took considerable effort not to stare openly at the pale set of cheeks that had been exposed to him, but he managed not to blush too hard by the time she was facing him. Giving a small smile, he'd begin to speak again before pausing from her words.
A bit of...snark. Hm. Making a mental note to relax a bit more around the Titan, he'd glance briefly at the cape coming towards her awaiting hand. A rather useful ability, and also solid proof that she was in fact, the 'real deal' so to speak. Remembering his earlier words, he'd begin again. "Actually I'm here to interview any of the Titans...which includes you if you'd like to volunteer for it." Stepping further inside now, Duke glanced at the direction of the kitchen she pointed towards and then began to head that way.
Pausing briefly when the chair was pulled back, he'd glance towards her with a curious expression. "I don't mean to sound so sudden but...your powers. Can you affect them on anything that comes to mind or do you have to be looking at it? Do you need to make any hand gestures or...?"

That was a bit subjective, but the poor writer had found himself the worst Titan to interview. It was no secret this one wasn’t very talkative, but rather self-contained who didn’t necessarily seek to make new friends. Sporting a cold personality was somewhat necessary, however. Since her powers were led by her emotions, controlling her exotic abilities required pent-up feelings.
Keeping her distance, a pair of violet eyes followed Duke around. She saw no harm in elaborating on her mysterious abilities. “I suppose it depends on the magnitude.” Understandably, not every magical spell demanded the same amount of effort. Summoning a piece of clothing was quite simpler than pulling energy from an interdimensional plane.
“How many emotions can you express without using your hands, eyes, lips and tongue?” The exotic heroine tried to explain. Since her powers were linked to her feelings, she figured it would draw a decent analogy. “The more I feel, the more power I can unleash.” She suggested. “For complex spells, I need gestures and incantations.” Even her dear companions didn’t fully understand how her magic worked. And Raven herself was still exploring the extent of her abilities.
The explanation she offered to the man could have been interpreted as she accepting to do this interview. But again, things must have been still somewhat vogue for the man. “Fine…” The heroine rolled her big eyes. “I may volunteer.” Without making herself look too eager, she decided to take the interview. Perhaps, she could take the spotlight for once. When no one else was around, it was easy enough.
“And this meta-human prefers tea.” Raven called out. A convenient little information to learn for an interviewer who was headed to the kitchen. The chair she had magically pulled out was meant for Duke, but her own hips ended up occupying it. While awaiting at the table, a drawer opened by itself in the kitchen to aid her guest.
