Daisy read it and resisted the urge to chuckle. "Poor Toad." she wrote back.

"Ugh...." Yoshi groaned and sat up, raising his hand. "Excuse me teach...can I go down to the nurse's office...?" he asked.

Toadsworth blinked and looked back at him. "Oh, the nurse? Not feeling very well are we...well, alright, I assume it's no trouble..." he said, as he examined Yoshi's person and began to write the boy a pass.

(Oh brother) Luigi thought, looks like Yoshi wasn't kidding when he said that he was going to be sleeping in the nurses office, Luigi could tell that he was going to be doing this a lot.

Daisy was about to receive the note, but she jumped as a Luma came and grabbed the note before she could take it. "What the hell...?!"

The Luma squeaked lightly, before bringing his new 'treasure' up to his mother.

Yoshi soon stumbled out the classroom as soon as he received his pass.

Toad watched this and groaned heavily. "(Lucky...)" he thought.

"Luma, what do you have their?" Rosalina wondered as she took the note and read it and then frowned. "Where did you find this"

Luigi rolled his eyes, maybe Yoshi would be a bit more active after he'd had a nap.

Luma squeaked again, before suddenly flying back and flew above Toadette's head.

Daisy bit her lip and twiddled her thumbs, staring down at her desk as she tried to get the attention off of her.

"Alright, now that we have everything taken care...I'd like to begin our year by getting an example of what you all might know so, I'm going to give you a small assessment..." Toadsworth then announced.

"Beat it ya stupid flying starfish!" Toadette hissed, trying to swat the star being away with her text book.

"Ladies, please stand" Rosalina ordered.

"Oh joy" Luigi muttered under his breath as some of the members of the class groaned.

Luma yelped as the textbook hit his backside and sent flying forward back at Rosalina, where he whimpered softly.

Daisy tensed, but maybe she kept sitting then she would be ignored, and she turned towards her books instead.

"Damn it grandpa..." Toad muttered silently under his breath as he groaned, but soon Toadsworth laid a paper in front of his desk and soon he began to pass them out to the other students. "Come now students, this should be a refresher, you should be able to get these questions easily...that is, if you didn't completely drain your brain over the course of the summer..." he joked lightly.

"I know it's you two" Rosalina said sternly as she hugged the small Luma.

Toadette looked very nervous.

Luigi had spent a lot of time on his own so he knew quite a bit but that didn't mean he actually liked to do tests! Still he picked up his pencil and began to scribble on his paper.

Daisy groaned, but she finally stood with a sigh.

Toad began to do the same as his grandfather announced. "You have until the end of the period to complete this and the tomorrow we shall go over the results and see where we will pick up..."
