Victor grinned at the playful antics of his child, he was so cheeky. The man playfully growled, "My turn." with that, he held the child under one arm and landed a flurry of extremely light, playful smacks to his clothed bottom. "Someone's been cheeky." he laughed, tossing him up and then tickling him under his arms.

Clark whined and pushed at Logan fussily. "I'm not tired!" he wailed and pouted, "I wanna play!" he sighed and looked up at his Daddy. "Please?"

Bruce squealed happily when his little bottom was smacked lightly, squirming around and giggling. "Not being cheeky Papa!" He protested, before snuggling into his father. Bruce shrieked when he was tossed into the air, laughing and squirming. "No tickles Papa!"

Logan sighed softly, hugging Clark closer and rocking slightly. "Okay Whirlwind, we'll stay up for a bit." He said gently, stroking the soft curls. "How about we read a story to pass the time?"

"Oh I think you are, my cheeky half pint!" Victor laughed and continued to tickle the little boy, enjoying the sound of his laughter. "Papa loves ya, okay kiddo?"

Clark looked up at him and shrugged, "I guess so....doesn't sound very fun though...." he answered softly.

Bruce giggled and squirmed, thoroughly enjoying the time with his father. "I love you too Papa!" He said happily, bouncing as best he could over the man's shoulder. "Can I have hot chocolate Papa?"

Logan chuckled softly, pulling out the book Treasure Island. He loved this story, and he hoped Clark would like it to. "This is an adventure story." He said, before beginning to read.

Victor grinned, pulling the adorable little mite to his chest and hugging tight, he really did love the little guy. "Sure, if ya think your man enough." he teased, sitting him down on the table while he boiled the kettle. "Cream and sprinkles I assume?" he laughed.

"Tr..e..a..." Clark tried to read the words, but the child had no proper education and was unable to do so. "What is it called?" he asked, pointing to where the title was. "Are there pictures?" the child lay his head against Logan and blushed out of embarrassment. "I'm dumb...."

Bruce snuggled into the warm chest, playing with his father's hair and trying to braid it as best as a little boy could. "I am manner than you Papa!" He teased, bouncing when he was set on the table. "Of course Papa! Otherwise you can' have hot chocolate."

Logan realized the little boy couldn't read, and his eyes softened slightly. "It's called Treasure Island. There are some pictures." He answered, kissing Clark on the forehead. "You're not dumb Clark. You were never taught. I'll start teaching you, and I'm sure you'll learn right away."

Victor smiled and kissed his head before preparing the hot chocolate for his little one. "Alright kiddo, give it a few mins, it's hot." he warned.

Clark sniffed and looked up at his Daddy, smiling a little at the kiss and the assuring words. "Okay!" he said happily.

Bruce nodded, obediently waiting to drink his hot chocolate. He was bouncing excitedly as he waited, before looking over at his father. "Papa? I want to be a superhero."

Logan chuckled softly, stroking the soft curls and opening the book once again. He began to read, rocking slightly as he did to try and get his little on to fall back asleep.

"Do ya now?" Victor asked, amused as he looked down at his ambitious child. "I'd bet you'd make a good superhero." he grinned, nudging his side gently. "What kind a' superhero?"

Pretty soon, Clark lost the battle to sleep and was soon snoozing away against Logan's chest.

Bruce giggled when his father told him he would make a good superhero. "I wanna be...not like a happy superhero...world's not happy. I wanna be...darker." He admitted, hoping his Papa didn't think he was weird.

Logan sighed in relief, pressing a kiss on his son's head before leaning back on the couch and covering the two of them with a blanket.
