"You haven't changed one bit since you left, have you?!"

Sakura roared at her fox-whiskered shinobi teammate as he reeled of the list of potential paybacks and pranks that he had in mind and in store for his comrades that he hadn't seen for three+ years. Top of the list was eating his, Sakura's, and Sai's weight in Ichiraku Ramen, another being lording his newfound height with the rest of his Konoha academy classmates whom he assumed wouldn't have grown at all in the past three years as he had, and one other point of action seemed to be nailing their shared Copy Ninja Sensei with his patented 1,000 Years of Pain forbidden jutsu that he'd suffered on his first genin training day. Well, she couldn't pin all the blame on Naruto in that one. Kakashi-sensei deserved it.

Haruno was not particularly fond of all that... it wasn't something that she would have expected of him - no, that was her fault. She SHOULD have expected this of him. Especially considering that he had been acting like such an ass since he arrived back in the Village Hidden In the Leaves.

It had been burning her up. Although she wouldn't admit it, deep down she had dearly hoped that when the kyuubi host had come home, he'd be a different, cooler guy. To help her forget others. To mend that which had broken. But that was inside her. An emotion and longing that she could not speak of or explain. A selfish one. But she’d always been selfish, and deep inside her, there was a shame over that which she could never voice...

Which is why her frustrations around Uzumaki Naruto bubbled to the surface so easily.

She'd started beating the crap out of him again at the drop of a hat. Like she had in the past. Like a fat-foreheaded brat.

Her pert bottom, safe but raw under her tight black shorts and shinobi skirt, twinged with the remnant sting of her own mentor's powerful hand.

Tsunade-sama had told her, after smacking her b...well, after scolding her for her sudden tantrums and beatings on her childhood teammate. Tsunade-sama had said to think before she hit him, adjust her fist, and act appropriately.

What the heck did that mean?

The kunoichi with the short, cerise hair heaved a sigh of frustration, and glared her green eyes at the young man beside her as he happily spouted nonsense, "Darn it, Naruto, you should be focusing on becoming a chuunin! You don't have time for wasting on that... geez, you're such a KID!"

Naruto was sitting by a nearby tree as he was laying down and relaxing as he formulated ideas for some pranks that he could use on some of the friends, mentors and rivals that he met through his years of living in the leaf village. He didn’t know why Sakura was so upset, he included Ino on that list for a reason cause he figured it would make her happy. While it’s been painfully obvious that Sakura doesn’t see him the same way he sees her, they yellow haired guy still held plenty of feelings for his teammate and good friend but his childishness wasn’t helping the case. “Why are you so angry, your face is all pink and stuff.” Naruto said, not able to tell if she was just angry or blushing. While a couple of his friends told him that Sakura still gets spanked by Tsunade as they hear it sometimes when they pass by the building, Naruto never believed them and assumed they were just trying to rile him up.

"I'm angry because you're acting like an idiot!" Her fists were shaking. She'd been fine these past few years. But as soon as Naruto came back through those gates she had reverted right back to the Haruno Sakura, genin fresh out of the academy, powerless and overconfident from soaring grades and academy sensei recommendations. The same weak, stupid girl that cried for the boys to help her.

Naruto had her overjoyed in seeing him and furious for those memories all at once, and the young kunoichi couldn't handle it. But she had to. Otherwise her butt was in for another chakra beating.

Haruno Sakura tried to think evenly, frowning up at the blond in all her fiery frustration, and reasoned, pointing a gloved finger at the boy, "Listen! Don't you wanna prove to everyone how strong you are, now? How’re you gonna do that if you just act like you did when you were a kid, huh?!"

“You really need to loosen up Sakura! Here, I’ll let you pick the prank to pull on Ino! I was thinking pantsing her, pouring cold ramen down her pants or pouring trash on her would be fun but since she’s your rival, I’ll let the call come down to you.” Naruto said with a smile, ignoring her comments as he’s heard them all before as he looked at how upset she was getting. “See? I can be a nice guy.”

"You just don't get it, do you?" The only child of the Haruno family murmured with almost a softness. She and Ino bickered all the time, but they were beyond dumb pranks like that. She definitely didn't want to linked or even associated to that kind of behaviour, not now having passed her chuunin exam and not when she was aspiring to become a jounin and more.

Again, she looked down at herself, at her newfound height and maturity, and could only see herself as that pathetic genin, having nothing to show for herself but grades and a big mouth. The girl that just tagged along and was left further and further behind her shinobi teammates, like trying to keep up with a sprint on too-small legs. Kakashi-sensei had only recently started to treat her as a shinobi rather than the kid she had been with him when he visited Tsunade-sama for debriefs. She couldn't bear to be looked down on like the brat she had been - that they ALL had been - not three years prior!

Even if she DID get spanked every now and again, now, it wasn't for popping chalk-full erasers on Kakashi-sensei's head, or putting tacks on his chair, or trying to get him to step in raccoon-poop whilst walking with him like Uzumaki Naruto probably still would and worse!

And now that they would be teamed up from now on... she was gonna be tarred with the same brush! And probably even blamed for the same pranks! And spanked by sensei for them like she was a genin again!

Before she could even think, her chakra-imbued fist had raised in the air, and she had already closed the distance between herself and the spiky-haired blond, ready to sock into him good. She managed to stop herself at the last moment, closed fist quivering with the effort.

NO! Not after what Tsunade-sama had said! She had to show some restraint! She had to be mature and take it like a mature kunoichi! But she couldn’t just let it lie... not the way she was feeling!! Damn it, Naruto! Why do you have to be such a BRAT?!

A light shone suddenly behind her green eyes, and she sobered. Her gloved hand grasped the boy’s arm, and she then yanked him forward so that the change of pace unbalanced the fox-whiskered ninja, and he fell forward. She grappled him around the waist under her slender, but powerful arm, and held him like a vice to her trim hip.

Without giving Naruto a moment to consider his position, or the fact that his ass was a prime target to his crush's palm, Sakura raised her hand and then slammed it down with a nice aftershock of chakra which resulted in a pretty biting spank indeed!

Naruto smirked as he stood on his feet and dusted himself off, not understanding Sakura was now furious at him. Before Naruto could realized the danger he was in, he saw a pink blur lunging at him. This wasn’t unfamiliar for him as this has been a common occurrence since they knew each other. He closed his eyes to prepare himself but a strike from Sakura never came. Instead he felt himself being bent over with the seat of his orange pants being exposed.

“H-Hey! Sakura! Knock it off!” He blushed as he immediately tried to free himself from her grasp as he wiggled. He has been in this position many of times but it was usually cranky old guys that still punish in this way and one time Tsunade did this after he panty raided her drawers one day. But she was still ‘grandma’ to him. This was the first time he’s been in this position with someone he has a crush on and is close to his age. He just hopes his body doesn’t betray him… But before he can think of anything else, a hard spank fell and his eyes went wide as he yelped out audibly. That really smarted! He’s going to be in for a long punishment.

She raised her pale, bare arm again, not quite realising or understanding exactly what she was doing through her measured anger. How did Tsunade-sama do it? Did she even USE chakra? Wince a wince as she felt her own perky rump tense as Naruto struggled his bigger frame against her hip, she was pretty sure the kunoichi sage DID. The lingering burn really DID linger, alright!

So, raising her hand, and flattening it, she forced it back down with an echoing SMACK!

Her short temper did not allow her to stop at that, or to take measure, and she instead continued to beat on her fox-whiskered teammate's wriggling butt ferociously. Stupid Naruto! Making her touch his butt like this!!

Naruto’s face was a visible pink and he did his best to try and not let the front of his body touch her waist but it was unavoidable as she pinned him in place. He tried to think of something to get his mind off this situation. He even tried to think of Jiraiya and other ‘old guys’ naked but the spanks couldn’t let him concentrate. The more he tried to not think of Sakura’s soft skin the worse it got as it would be inevitable for Sakura to not feel a poke. The spanks were hard enough a he yelped and grunted under Sakura’s palm. “S-Stop! Ah! Ow! S-Someone will see! Ah! Ow!” He complained as his butt bounced under her palm

"Shannaro! So what if they do?!" the cerise-haired kunoichi bit back, as she whacked her hand down again and again, the claps resounding all around the woodland clearing and the power of her smacks almost burning through Naruto's (presumably!) two sets of clothes.

She huffed a bit, slowing down the beats of her gloved palm, "It's not like everyone in the Village hasn’t seen you get it at least twice by now..."

Sakura punctuated this with three hard, open-handed spanks to each orange-clad cheek. Oddly enjoying the sensation the weird dominance gave her. It was different than when she punched him. She felt more powerful. More mature.

“Ow! Ah! B-But you can’t do this! Ow! I-I’ll tell sensi and he’ll spank you! Ow! Ah! Owww!” Naruto complained as she was burning red from both feeling himself poking Sakura’s thigh with something he didn’t mean to as well as the fact he was getting spanked by his close friend and peer for the first time ever. And based off their relationship and Naruto’s attitude, this will not be the last time. He then reached back and tried to block the spanks with his palm sticking out. “Stop! You’re really acting like a cranky bitch like grandma! You hang around her too much!” He yelled, his face crimson red
