I'm building a website to host spanking stories. Eventually I would like to find suitable images for the background and the jumbotron. In the meantime, I need colors that actually look good. I'm specifically needing to come up with a color scheme for the jumbotron, navbar, background (currently red), and the main content area.
I'm wanting something that isn't off-putting to the eyes. I know that if I'm going to be spending a significant amount of time reading on a website, it's easier if the visuals are comfortable. However, I want it to still look somewhat modern, not like it was designed in the 90's.
