Jim reached down and picked up both boys, looking at them sternly. "Young men, I sure hope you're not fighting or arguing with each other." he said firmly and Spock nodded.

"Indeed, it did sound that way, children, and that is something we shall not tolerate."

The two little boys gulped, looking to one another before glancing sweetly up at the two stern parents in front of them.

"We weren't fighting Mama!" Hikaru chirped, smiling cutely.

"Promise!" Bones added, hugging Spock around the leg.

"We would never fight!"

"Ever!"

"Are you lying to us, children?" Spock asked, raising a brow and not holding 'lying' in high regard, being Vulcan and all. "The truth, children."

Jim also rose a brow, looking at both, but not looking as formidable as Spock did. "Just tell the truth babies, okay?"

Hikaru and Leonard whimpered when their papa stared down at them, wanting nothing more than to run back into the house and hide. "Um..."
"W-We..."

Jim was much less intimidating, and the two small boys took shelter behind their mama's legs. "Wasn' fighting..." Hikaru said softly.

"Just...discussing." Leonard added, before hiding his face in Jim's thigh.

Jim sighed and picked up both troublemakers, holding them to his chest. "It's okay boys, but fighting without actually touching each other is still fighting and Papa and I don't like that." he explained.

Spock nodded, "Indeed, brothers do not fight, my children." he said firmly but his eyes were soft.

The two little boys snuggled against their mother, resting their heads on Jim's shoulder. "Okay Mama." Hikaru said, kissing his cheek.
Bones nodded in agreement, yawning slightly as he did so. "Where are we going Mama?" He asked, looking to the car.

Jim smiled, noticing the yawn and thinking Leo would be asleep by the time they got Spock to his work. "Well we need to give Papa a lift to work, and then I was thinking I'd take you to scalleywags." he informed, which was a large play center for young children. He strapped them into the car and kissed their heads.

Spock nodded his head before getting into the passenger seat. "i do hope you have a good time, little ones."

Leonard was sleepy, already dozing a bit on his feet. "Why ya gotta work Papa?" He asked sleepily, snuggling against Hikaru as he dozed.

The other little boy was much more awake, squirming slightly and bouncing in his seat. "Mama! Mama, can we get ice cream?" He asked, tapping the man on the shoulder.

Spock looked fondly at the two of them, "Because I must make income, to support this family." he informed, looking to Jim as he sat down in the drivers seat.

"If you're a very good boy, then we'll see." Jim smiled, turning on the radio and pulling out before then heading to Spock's work place, noticing he was paying great attention to what he was doing in hopes of learning for himself.

Leonard nodded with another tiny yawn, before sleeping on top of his brother as they headed to take Papa to work.

Hikaru pouted, poking Leo to try and wake him up and failing. "Okay Mama..." He said before looking out the window and bouncing slightly. "Papa? What do you do for work?" Hikaru asked, looking over to his father.
