Punished Peter Parker { Mavrick the mutt

Peter was sort of struggling with seventh grade, the lessons were difficult and he found it hard to concentrate. All he wanted to do was be Spider man and do hero work with his two Fathers, Steve and Tony. However he was still a young boy and he was expected to do well in school, as well as follow house rules, do chores and be in bed by nine. Being a hero and being a kid wasn't easy, but at least he had his family to support him through everything.

"Peter, see me after class." Mrs Knowles (Peter's teacher) told the boy as she sat at her desk, looking over her class assignments.

"Yes ma'am." Peter answered. The bell soon rang, signalling all children to go home, but not Peter Parker who walked up to his teachers desk and visibly paled when she handed him the assignment with a huge 'F' on the front.

"Peter, why didn't you study?" she asked.

"Well my Dad got me a new game for the play station four and--"

"Peter." she sighed, "Video games can wait. Your school work is important." she scolded, she knew Peter had two Fathers, one spoiled him and the other was very old school. "You know I'm going to have to call your parents, this is the fifth failed assignment this month."

Peter bit his lip, "Can you call my Dad?" he asked hopefully. Tony was more easy going, yes he would of course spank Peter but he wasn't as firm as Steve was, who was more inclined to use implements.

"Peter, I will be speaking to BOTH of your parents." she said, picking up the phone and dialling the number, "Oh, hello Mr Rogers, this is Mrs Knowles, I'm calling about your son Peter, I think it would be best for you and your partner to come down to the school so we can discuss it." she explained.

Peter winced. Great.

Peters parents, Tony Stark and Steve Rogers were practically complete opposites when it came to their son and things in general. Steve (where was also Captain America) was a strict, routined man who was constantly ensuring Peter was healthy, used his manners and over all didn’t act like a brat while Tony (aka Iron Man) spoiled their son. Sure Stark cared about his health and hygiene and what not But wasn’t as uptight about it as his partner was.

School however was different as both expected him to make good grades with a 70 being the lowest they accept because at least it was passing, especially if they knew it was a difficult subject for their little boy and was trying his best, but anything lower than that was met with a punishment that usually consisted of three things. A lecture, A spanking, and having electronics taken away for one week which meant no Tv, computer, game systems, or phone.

Steve was currently in the middle of lecturing Tony for causing a fire down the lab when the phone rang and looked to see it was Peters teacher, {This is either a good call or a bad call....I’m hoping it’s good} he mentally said to him self. “I will finish with you a second” He said pointing at Tony which made the man grin smugly. “Mrs.Knowles, I wasn’t expecting a call from you today.” He said before listening as she said she thought it was best if both he and Tony came to the school to talk about Peter. “We will be there in a few minutes, see you soon.” He said before hanging up with a sigh.

“I know that look, Peter is in trouble isn’t he?” The slightly shorter male asked as Steve gave a nod

“Get your jacket, we gotta go up to the school.” He said “you can clean this....mess....up later.” Steve said signaling to the charred and burned area of the lab where the fire had happened.

Once they got their coats (and Tony into cleaner clothes) the two headed to the school where they checked in and made their way to the class room.

Peter sighed and looked at the clock, he could be home playing God of War right now, but no, he was stuck in school waiting for his parents to come, and then they and his teacher would go on and on and on about how he was a terrible student. It was Friday! This was so unfair! "Hope you know you've ruined my weekend." he scowled.

"Peter, don't take an attitude with me." Mrs Knowles frowned, "If you had studied then you wouldn't be here right now, you have no one to blame except yourself." she told him simply and then looked over to the door when both Steve and Tony walked in. She stood and shook their hands, "Thank you for making it on such short notice."

"Yeah, thanks so much." Peter mumbled under his breath but stopped when his Papa/Pops (Steve) gave him 'the look'. Peter knew he'd better shut up unless he wanted to be taken to the school bathroom and given a reason to fuss.

Mrs Knowles then looked at Peter as both parents sat down, "Peter can you go and sit outside the classroom and wait please." she instructed. The boy sighed and got to his feet, doing as he was told and shutting the door behind him. Mrs Knowles then took all of the assignments Peter had failed out of her desk and gave them to Steve and Tony. "Every assignment this month has been failed because Peter seems to show no interest in studying." she explained.

"Peter's a smart boy, but recently he just focuses on his video games. I believe he was recently bought a new game and he seems to want to play on that more than he wants to get good grades." she saw Steve give Tony a 'look what you've done' look and then she continued. "It's imperative that Peter's grades start going up again, he could ultimately lose his place at Malibu Academy."

Both parents had been adamant that Peter go to the best school because one, Tony could afford it, and two, because they wanted Peter to have the best education. If Peter's grades started slipping too often, then he could lose his place at the academy, despite Tony paying fifty-thousand dollars a year. After talking with the parents some more, Mrs Knowles said her goodbyes and the two parents left the classroom to see to their son.

Peter looked up and winced at the looks he got from them. "Am I in trouble?" he asked, sending a more pleading look to Tony.

A few moments later both Steve and Tony entered the classroom and glanced over to Peter before shaking his teachers hand, “It’s not a problem at all.” Steve said as they took a seat before the man shot his son a warning look to lose the attitude unless he wanted it adjusted in the school bathroom, thankfully the look alone was enough to convince him a majority of the time especially after those couple of times where he tested his Papa.

Once the two males had seated themselves Peter was asked to go and wait outside and did as asked without fussing leaving the three adults alone to talk as she began to explain that he has failed every assignment this month because he showed no ambition to study after having received a new game, this of course earned Tony his own stern look from his husband since HE was the one to buy it. “Well he won’t be playing any video games for a week until his grades improve and we will see to it that he studies, right Tony?” He said

“Hmm? Oh, Yeah Yeah, Don’t worry we will take care of it.” Mr.Stark answered having only been half listening as he was thinking about different little projects with one being something that could help Peter with studying.

She then went onto explain that if his grades continued to slip Peter would lose his place at Malibu Academy which was one of the most expensive schools to attend for young Peters grade level with Tony paying $50,000 a year. Sure it was very pricey but because of Stark Industry they could afford the bill and they wanted their son to have the best education available, he would even pay for his college no matter which he wanted to go to.

“Thank you for informing us about the situation, have a nice rest of the day.” He said as they got up once the conference was over and the two left the room, both sporting disappointed and upset expressions as Peter asked if he was in trouble.

“You better believe it young man, you just wait until we get home.” Steve said as his Dad nodded in approval then lead him out to the car. “You aren’t in the clear either Stark.”

Sitting outside his home room classroom, Peter couldn't hear any of the conversation going on, but he knew it wasn't going to be good. He sighed and swung his feet back and forth, wishing he could just play video games all day long and never have to bother with school or education, his Dad's money was all he needed. Tony spoiled him often but Steve never approved, especially when he bought him violent games or expensive clothes. He didn't want Peter being a spoiled brat, which was fair enough.

Eventually, the classroom door opened up and Peter brought his gaze skyward to his parents, and he winced when he saw the disappointed looks on their faces. Steve confirmed he was in trouble and then told him to wait until they got home. Sighing, Peter got to his feet and followed both his parents through the school hallway and down the stairs which lead out of the building. He listened as his Papa scolded his Dad, telling him he wasn't in the clear either.

"What did you do Dad?" he asked, walking at Tony's side. He always felt like Tony was more of a best friend than a Dad, he played video games with him, helped him with experiments and let him stay up just a little later if Steve wasn't around. Peter still respected him of course, but he liked that Tony was more like a friend. Peter listened as his Dad brushed off the fact he might have started a fire back home and he needed to clean it up, and the boy's eyes widened, "You were experimenting without me?" he asked, pretending to be hurt.

Eventually they got to the car and Peter looked up at Steve. He always struggled talking or bonding to Steve because he was so old fashioned and did most of the discipline and punishing. He was like the strict parent you wanted to hide everything from. Peter never knew what to say to Steve, so in this instance he said nothing and just got inside the car, putting his seat belt on.

Once they got driving, Peter started talking about his day at school. "You shoulda seen it Dad!" he told Tony, "Nathan Marsh actually threw his entire pasta dish at Carmen King because she broke up with him!" he exclaimed, "And they broke up over---get this---that new meme about whether or not you can hear Yanny or Laurel!" he laughed a bit, "We both know it's Laurel." he concluded.

"Oh, oh!" he bounced in his seat, "I forgot, next week we're going on a school trip to a philanthropy museum!"

After the conference Steve confirmed that his boy was in trouble then scolded Tony lightly as well as they headed out to the car which was when Peter asked his dad what had happened for him to get scolded. “I might have started a rather big fire down in the lab after messing with something your pop told me not to.” He said with a small shrug then ruffled his hair with a little laugh when the kid pretended to be hurt when he found out Tony had been doing experiments without him, “No,No,No. I was getting the experiment ready kiddo, the fire was unplanned.” He explained before all three got into the car, Steve of course giving both of the other males a stern look that kinda turned Tony on but knew to save it for the bedroom.

“I am very disappointed Peter, you know school work and studies come before videogames.” Steve scolded as he looked at the kid from the rear view mirror then at Tony “and you know I don’t like you buying him violent videogames. I swear it’s like I’m raising two kids instead of one.” He said as he slightly tightened his grip on the steering wheel.

He hated having to be the bad guy when it came to being a parent and was jealous of how close Peter and Tony were, he wanted to be close to his baby boy as well but was constantly running into hurdles. Especially when it came to discipline since he was still pretty old fashioned and believed in spanking unlike most parents now a days.

Once they got home the trio got out of the car and headed inside. “Peter go to your room and stand in the corner while you wait, I will be up momentarily.” He ordered sending him off with a swift swat when he started to drag his feet.

“....Im gonna go...clean up the lab.” Tony said about to walk off before his arm was grabbed and pulled close to Steve until their faces were mere inches apart.

“As for you Tony, I will deal with you tonight.” He said before sending the hero off with his own firm swat before looking towards the stairs with a small sigh.

"Ohh, well that's alright then." Peter grinned when his Dad told him that he had just been getting the experiment ready for when he came home and that the fire had been unplanned. He had a feeling his Pop was not happy at all about the fire, and no doubt he would be in trouble too. Peter looked up at Steve when he told him that he was very disappointed because school work came before video games and he knew that, "Yes sir---" he sighed and got into the back of the car, buckling up and feeling bad for Tony when Steve scolded him about buying him a violent video game.

"God of war's not THAT bad, Pops." Peter argued but settled down as they started driving. The kid jabbered on and on about his days events and when they got to the car, he unfastened his seat belt and followed his parents inside. He giggled as their pet King charles spaniel greeted them with his wagging tail and excited yips. "Hey Charlie!" he greeted, stooping down and scratching the pooch behind his long, fluffy black ears. The boy then stopped fussing the dog when his Papa ordered him to go up to his room and stand in the corner.

"Fine---" he huffed, dragging his feet which earned him a swat, "Ow!" he hurried up the stairs to his room and went to stand in the corner. He hated being in trouble, and he felt like he was always in trouble with his Pops. Deep down Peter had the feeling that Steve was just always disappointed in him, that he wasn't the son he wanted or something. He felt his stomach tie itself in a knot when he heard footsteps on the stairs and then his door opened. Great, just great.

“That doesn’t change the fact I don’t approve of the games Tony buys for you.” He said though his tone was no longer firm, well at least for now as they drove home while listening to Peter tell them about the daily dosage of drama that went down at school before they pulled up to their massive house.

Once inside Steve gave Peter a moment to greet their family pet Charlie before ordering him upstairs to his room to wait for him in the corner before sending him off with a swift swat when he dragged his feet then sent Tony off to go and clean up his mess down the lab telling the shorter male that he would deal with him later that night.

Soon Steve was left alone in the living room and gave a sigh crouching down to pet Charlie. “Why is being a parent so hard?” He asked his furry companion rhetorically before standing up again and headed towards the stairs while hoping Peter had done as asked and was pleased to see he was as he gently pushed open the door then shut it behind himself before going over and sitting on his bed. “Alright Peter, you know the drill.” He said “Why are you having to stand in the corner, and don’t give me a smartelec remark either.....I get enough of those from your father.” He said

The young boy wasn't trying to make Steve's life hard, but he felt like the man looked for every single instance to punish him, as though that was all he wanted to do. When Peter was with Tony he could just relax and goof around but he felt like he couldn't do that with Steve, what if he scolded him for slurping a milkshake or picking a slightly inappropriate song on the jukebox? Tony never gave him hassle about any of that. Peter felt like he was walking on egg shells just to make Steve happy but even then he always seemed to mess something up. He wished he knew Steve loved him with all his heart, but it was never clear.

Peter looked over his shoulder when the door opened and his Papa walked in and sat down on the bed. His stomach tied itself in an uncomfortable knot and he sighed when the man told him he knew the drill, and asked him why he was standing in the corner. He was about to open his mouth and say because 'you told me to' but Steve warned him about a smart alec remark so he decided not to do that.

"Cause I didn't study at school." he mumbled, "I disappointed you yet again." a scowl formed on his face, "Not that that's hard to do." he added very quietly under his breath.

Steve hated having to spank Peter because he never liked seeing his baby boy crying or in pain so when it came to punishment it always made him feel like crap because he was cause Peter both to cry and be in pain, even if it was just sore backside.

Steve made his way up the stairs and into his sons room where he sat down on the bed and asked him why he was standing in the corner then warned him not to be a smart alec with his response, that usually earned Peter a couple extra swats and Steve typically tried to avoid having to dish those out if he could. The man then listened as Peter told him it was because he didn’t study at school then lowered his voice as he added that he’d disappointed him yet again and added quietly under his breath that it wasn’t very hard to do, this of course slightly broke Steve’s heart. Did Peter really think he was constantly disappointed in him?

“C’mere.” He said then pulled him gently to sit on his lap when he came over from the corner. “Wanna tell papa what’s going on up there?” He asked while gently wrapping his arms around him in a warm and secure embrace full of love.
