"I'm gonna be in one piece, I"m gonna be good at it," Katya told her when Amara told her that she wanted her to come back in one piece. The child had no doubt that she was going to be good at it and she was definitely looking forward to it if the smile on her face was any indication.

Hearing those words from Amara caused the smile that she was already wearing on her face to grow even wider, it making her feel really good right now. "Yep," she said before going back to her breakfast, finishing and then giving Derek an expectant look.

"I guess that's my cue to hurry up and take her to the stables." he laughed as he pushed out his chair and stood up.

"Katya." Amara called before they had time to exit the room "Be sure to feed the rest of the horses before you go riding!"

Katya jumped to her feet when Derek said that was his cue and she was about to run out of the room though she stopped when Amara spoke up and reminded her of her chores. "i won't," she called out before dashing out of the room. She ran all the way to the stables so that she could hurry and feed the horses and then get to her ride since she was looking forward to it.

Katya was pretty quick to go to the stables and feed the horses since she didn't want them to go hungry. Even so she was faster than she usually was since she was excited, the girl finishing that chore and then waiting for Derek to come to the stables so that they could get started.

Derek lead a small tan pony out and smiled "this is honeysuckle...my horse usually."

Katya ran over to him when he lead over the pony and she gazed at him when he introduced it and then said that it was usually his horse. "You ride a pony?" she asked since she would have pictured him on something a bit bigger and perhaps wilder, probably more along the lines of the stallion that she had befriended.
