It was early in the morning but young Kimiko "Kim" Katsuragi was already training in the small dojo that belonged to her father, a great martial arts master known for his skill far and wide. The thirteen year old girl wore grey sweatpants and a white tank top. Her feet were bare and her black hair was tied into a ponytail for practical reasons. She looked a bit asian, likely from mixed heritage and would have been quite cute if her face wasn´t distorted by anger as she kicked and punched a sandbag quite agressively. Kim had a bit of an anger problem that often got her into trouble with teachers, students or her father.
Now, as she remembered a particular stupid comment from one of her classmates she began throwing another tantrum, she lost all control over herself and began punching and kicking the sandbag harder and harder. It wasn´t long before she managed to damage the object, the shock finally making her stop attacking it and leading her to the realization that she had messed up. A student of the martial arts should be able to control herself, even if she was just hitting puberty. Frustrated the girl sat down next to the sandbag which was now lying on the floor and covered her face with her hands in shame. Just why was this always happening to her, she asked herself. Her father had often scolded her over her tantrums, too, particulary when it lead to her damaging dojo property! Worst of all Kim just heard steps coming, it had to be her father. If he saw her with the damaged sandbag before she could replace it she certainly would be in for a scolding, if not worse. The girl hated being in trouble with her father even more than being in trouble at school, because while she hated her teachers on some level she felt a strong love for her only parent, even if they often got into arguments and worse.

Carrying a platter of food, which consisted of a piece of bread and some porridge, was an older man named Sho Xiao. He was more commonly known as Master Xiao by his pupils, but the designation didn't really mean much to him. It had before, but at his current age he was fine being called either Xiao or Sho. The man had hair that was starting to gray, though most of it was still it's original black color. His eyes were a dark gray and he had a small beard. He was around 62 years old, but was still as agile as the rest of his students, if not more. Sho stood just a few heads taller than his daughter and could sometimes be confused to be her biological father, though he never corrected anyone who thought so. He had adopted Kimiko a few years ago when she was smaller, shyer, and much more patient. Thankfully his patience hadn't faded with his age but it was sometimes hard to tell whenever Kim acted up.
Currently the man was bringing breakfast to the girl as she had a habit of skipping it to train. Occasionally she had managed to keep away from the habit, but from the sound of her abusing a sandbag, this wasn't one of those days. He heard her stop hitting the bag but wouldn't see why that was until a few moments later.

"I've brought breakfast for you," he said in his usual soft tone before noticing the destroyed sandbag. With a heavy sigh he brought over her food. "Here, eat and then explain what happened."

Kim hadn´t noticed that she was hungry until her adopted father approached her and reminded her to eat. Thus she gladly accepted the plate and dug in. Bread and porridge was not the best breakfast she ever had, but right now she did not really care what she got to eat, as long as it satisfied her hunger. She took the time it took to chew the first bites to think how to best explain to her parent what had happened, not really looking Sho into the eye since on some level she was really ashamed of her lack of self control. However his calm tone did make her hopeful that she would get out of this without a punishment and maybe not even a scolding. Perhaps he was too used to this kind of behaviour at this point to make a big deal out of consequences for her hasty actions. Or maybe she was wrong and their would be consequences, only time could tell. "I was training like usual when I remembered some stupid racist shit Peter said in class, dad.", she finally said in between bites and finally managed to muster up the courage to look her adopted father in the eyes. "After that I just kind of lost it. I am sorry, dad.", the thirteen year old explained and seemed genuinely remorseful. She didn´t often call him "dad" either, only when she really got emotional and they had a father daughter moment like this. Then the girl ate up and handed her father the plate. "Thanks for the food.", she said and stood up," Now I better clean this mess up." She pointed at the sandbag and then picked it up, deciding to bring it to where they kept the rest of the training utensils for now. She waited for a moment quite nervously, wondering if her father would add any consequences as punishment for her misbehaviour or if he was satisfied with her explanation.

Sho watched her eat while listening to her explanation. The one she gave, ignoring the curse, was somewhat reasonable to why she was upset, but that didn't really make up for damaging his equipment. He wasn't exactly mad, he never got mad, but he was upset with the lack of restraint she had shown. After she had finished talking and eating, he would take her empty dishes and move them aside, dusting himself off. "Yes please do," he said as he stood up. Normally he'd scold her about her behavior but this wasn't the first time they talked about this. That and they were probably both tired of him repeating himself over and over, so he'd try something else. "When you get done please meet me in my room, we'll 'talk' more there."

"Okay, I´ll be there in a second.", Kim promised and then brought the damaged sandbag to its proper place. She didn´t like hearing that they had to continue their talk. After all she had already given an explanation. Likely having to meet him in his room meant that they would discuss a punishment. At least that was what she was thinking. Well, it could be worse, some parents children really got mad at their kids for the stuff they messed up and he never did, even when he was scolding her. It was one of the things she really loved about her father. When she was done the girl did not direclty go to the room but went to the kitchen, taking her time on the way doing nothing in particular. Kim then had a glass of milk, which she thought went really well with her breakfast and only then headed off in the direction of her fathers room, still wearing her training outfit. "Okay, what are you going to do? Ground me?", she asked as she got in and saw her father, wanting to cut right to the chase. Kim wasn´t angry yet, though, even remorseful alltough she had no patients for a long talk.

Sho headed to his room after hearing her confirmation and took a seat on the floor, sitting down on the mat inside. His room was mostly bare as he didn't have many personal items, aside from a picture of himself and Kimiko that rested on his dresser. It had been when she had earned her second belt color. He closed his eyes while he thought about what exactly her punishment should be. Grounding didn't tend to improve anything, sometimes it even made her anger worse. He had tried making her do chores one time and that had also been a failure, but something else did come to mind. Around the time he had adopted her, he had given her a spanking after she had spilled some ink on his floor. That did seem to work last time, sure it was the only time he had done it, but maybe he could consider spanking her again.
"You sure took your time getting here," Sho noted and shook his head. "No, not this time. I'm trying something different, come across my lap. You'll be getting a spanking."

"Sorry...I went to the kitchen to get some milk to wash down my breakfast.", Kim said and looked down on Sho sitting on the mat. She listened to his words and when he mentioned the word "spanking" her eyes widened. "You can´t be serious...", she said and felt the anger overcoming her angain. How could he suggest such a thing?! A spanking was a punishment for toddlers and such. She was already a teenager! Yes, he had spanked her that one time and yes, she had to admit it had worked, making her contrite. But she had been much younger that one time. Now she was definately too old. One top of that it hurt. Maybe not as bad as getting a punch in the face, but definately worse than what she usually had to endure when doing martial arts and she still remembered it even if it was just that one time from years ago. The teenage girl clenched her fist and looked at her father with anger and sadness in her eyes for him saying such a thing. Kim was ready to rebel and just walk away, but this time she managed to fight down her emotions and control herself and trust her father. "Alright, we´ll try this, but if it doesn´t work, never again, alright?", she said and knelt down, hesitating a moment before finally getting across his lap. "Don´t do it too hard, okay?", she asked, almost timidly and half closed her eyes. Kim didn´t like to admit it, but she was afraid. Her sweatpants didn´t offer much protection as they were relatively thin, in her current position her small rear was a nice target for the swats she´ll be getting.

The fury and sadness in her eyes was easy to see and almost made it impossible to do what Sho had to do. He was a loving father first and a stern teacher second after all. When she started to complain he was ready for either a full blown outburst or for her to leave the room, but when neither came he was pleasantly surprised. After the girl set herself down across his lap as he had asked, he placed a gentle hand on her back while the other rested just on the seat of her sweats. "I can't promise either of those, that was one of the few sandbags that we still have after all." Once he had said that he rose his hand in the air and let it fall against her bottom with a mild swat.

"I guess I really ruined a lot of them with my outbursts...", Kim said, already quite contrite at the moment, but for her to really learn her lesson she had to submit herself to her punishment. She managed to lay still and await his punishing hand but when it hit she winced noticeably. It hadn´t hurt that bad but the sensation of the swat had startled the girl. It definately felt weird, normally a father was not supposed to touch the bottom of his teenage daughter after all. Kim tried to think of something else while enduring her spanking, maybe when she thought of happier memories with Sho she could escape her current predicament. But the next swat quickly made her remember in what situation she was in and how it would hurt once her father really got started with the punishment.

The swats started out slow as Sho wasn't used to the action just yet. This would only be the second time, in a long time at that, that he had her in this position. After about five more he finally found his technique and proceeded to pepper her bottom with smacks that were a bit faster. The room soon became filled with the sounds of a muffled smack that came when hitting her sweatpants covered rear. If he remembered correctly he had bared her bottom last time, though that might be a bit embarrassing right now given her age. He'd figure that out later, for now he focused on warming her up.
