The Red hood gets a red tail { Lori
Great, just fucking great. This was all Bruce needed after the Joker escaped Arkham. He was sat down in the bat cave, head in his hands as a news cast of 'The Red Hood' played on the computer, the footage was taken from the night before, which meant Jason had disobeyed him and gone out as red hood.
"So what are you going to do, Master Bruce?" Alfred asked as he set a tray of tea and scones down on the little side table, it had been brought down from the lounge ever since Bruce rested a coffee mug on the control panel and knocked it over.
"I don't know Alfred." Bruce groaned and slumped back in his chair a little, "When Jason was younger, I'd just put him over my knee and give him a good smacking if he disobeyed me, same with Dick....but ..."
"But?" Alfred quirked a silver brow.
"But he's not a kid anymore, Jason's seventeen....how do you even discipline a teenager?" Bruce sighed.
"You spanked Master Dick until he was eighteen." Alfred pointed out.
"I spanked him once, over the course of ...what, two years? I guess I should ask how do you even discipline a teenager...like Jason Todd?" he sighed. "Dick's easy, Jason on the other hand...not so much."
"So have you spoken to him?"
"No."
"Procrastinating, sir?"
"Maybe.." Bruce sighed and then got to his feet, "I need to go talk to him..." he headed up the stairs out of the bat cave and he went to go find Jason, he assumed the teen would be in his room, so that's where he went.

And that is exactly where the punk of Wayne manor was. Having fucked around with the Joker’s piss poor scheme to put manufacture a pollutant in roaming meth labs, mostly by shooting the drivers of said meth labs and the ‘chemist’ that come jumping out of the raging inferno that was once an automobile until it met with a building, Jason had put the Red Hood costume back into hiding and crashed. He hadn’t even bothered putting pajamas on. Just crawled under the covers in his black t-shirt and grey boxer briefs. The six foot two sixteen year old had been asleep for all of two hours by the time Bruce came into his bedroom for that procrastinated chat. So he was guaranteed to be on the grumpy side when woken.
Sighing for the umpteenth-hundred time Dick Greyson ran a hand through his short black hair as he watched the newscast. “ I thought Bruce handed this behavior already.” the first Robin moaned at Alfred when the man came up into the mansion. Boy was Nightwing NOT looking forward to another fight with Jason as the Red Hood. The way that kid went so completely against the moral code Batman had tried to instill in them it was only a matter of time though.

Alfred turned to look back at Dick and nodded his head, "Master Bruce is trying his best." he explained, "Master Jason isn't the same boy that Bruce took in so many years ago, his morals have changed." he told Dick and then turned off the news cast because it was getting pretty depressing and annoying. "But I suppose Master Bruce will remind Jason of his place, at least...I hope he will be able to."
Bruce took a deep breath before he entered the troubled teen's room. He liked to think that he was pretty good at the heart to heart stuff, when in reality it was his weak point. He opened the door and shut it behind him once he was in the room. He noticed Jason was asleep and Bruce took a moment to appreciate the fact his boy was tucked up in bed....safe. "Jason." Bruce said firmly, shaking the seventeen year old by the shoulder slightly.

Giving the old man a skewed face Dick mumbled, “same kid according to Babs.” but let the rest go as he remembered Alfred being less willing to take back chat than Bruce was. Instead the former boy wonder followed the butler out of the living room hoping to talk Alfred into making him a sandwich or something.
A gun flew out from under Jason’s pillow aiming itself at Bruce, center mast, before green eyes were even open. See, grumpy. Taking in the man before him Jason lowered his gun without fully putting it away. A scowl crossed the teen’s face before a yawn broke the brooding look. “I’m dead on any paper that matters Bruce.” he explained, “stop insisting I get up at ass in the morning.” it was then that the gun disappeared back under the mountain of pillows Jason never knew he needed before the dark red head landed back on the cushions. Huffing a strand of crimson red hair from his line of vision Jason figured it was time for a dye job. Again.

Alfred rose a brow when Dick answered him back, "I'm sure Barbara Gordon is the expert." he answered dryly and then noticed that Dick was following him out of the cave, that could only mean one thing, the boy wanted feeding. "Master Dick, is it really so difficult to make yourself something to eat?" he asked, turning to him and crossing his arms over his chest. With a sigh he gave in to the loveable kid. "Very well, what shall it be this time? And before you ask, no, I am not going to Macdonalds to get you a burger....again." he tutted.
Bruce didn't flinch at the gun, he knew Jason wouldn't shoot him, ...well once he did but Bruce could understand why, Jason was emotional and he was letting that cloud his judgement, "I don't like you having that gun." he told him and then frowned, "We need to talk, Jason Todd." he told him in that firm tone he would use when Jason got into trouble as a kid. "Sit up and look at me, now." he ordered.

Smiling as Alfred scolded him half-heartedly before caving. Dick still had it. “Could I have a club sandwich.” yes the twenty-one year old could have easily made himself said sandwich but, “you’re so awesome at make club sandwiches.” of course Alfred was awesome at making to many things, it’s why Dick didn’t cook for himself unless he absolutely had to. Leaning on the kitchen island Dick watched with great interest as Alfred’s process.
Shrugging Jason didn’t address Batman’s feelings toward Jason’s gun. If he didn’t like the hand gun under his pillows how was Bruce going to react to the sniper rifle in the back of his closet. Well, don’t care. The last name came out partnered with that tone that meant he was in deep shit. Groaning Jason sat up but didn’t let the blanket drop below his waist. Don’t let the old man see you’re vulnerable. Meeting Bruce’s eyes with his stubborn glare, “So talk.” he demanded.

Alfred couldn't resist the looks Dick gave him when he was pining for food, so he decided to cave in and asked the eldest of the boys what he wanted to eat. "A club sandwich it is, Master Dick." he answered and got out the things needed to prepare it. "One of these days you are going to need to learn to cook your own meals." he told him as he sliced up the tomato and cucumber to put on the sandwich, Dick may have been a foodie but Alfred liked him to have a healthy diet.
Bruce sighed when Jason gave him that stubborn glare and told him to talk. He sat down opposite the boy on the edge of his bed and frowned. He said nothing for a moment before pulling out his iPhone and playing Jason the news cast from last night. Once it was done playing, he narrowed his eyes. "I thought you were done with the criminal life style, how the hell do you explain this?!" he demanded to know, "Twenty! You killed TWENTY drug leaders last night, and for what? Revenge, a thrill?" he scoffed.

A shrug and cocky smile saw Dick answering the butler’s concern about his abilities to feed himself, “yeah. I should.” the oldest Robin said insincerely. Really between Alfred and Babs Dick didn’t see any rush into learning kitchen skills. Of course there was a fair trade when Barbara Gordon was cooking for him. Not because it meant he usually had to do dishes, Dick preferred Alfred’s food. The man knew what he was doing in the kitchen.
Stubborn eyes dimmed as Jason beheld the newscast but the set line to his mouth remained. The teen was mildly upset that his escapades had made the news. More so that the Red Hood was named as the one responsible since Jason was trying to be carful about not being seen. The once dead boy knew Batman would flip if he found out. Around a year ago when Jason came back to the manor he had ‘promised’, was ordered, not to don the Red Hood again. Bruce’s demand got those green eyes to widen and Jason leaning close to the Bat. “I was protecting innocent life out there.” Jason argued, “there were lethal chemicals being made by those drug lords that were going to be released to the public.” Bracing himself back on his hands the teen returned to glaring at his guardian. “I don’t see a problem with killing them.” he shrugged, Jason was never going to see Batman’s problem with killing criminals, “Dead drug lords are drug lords off the street.” the Red Hood justified, “and it’s less criminals Gotham’s tax payers have to take care of.”

(( I'm making a Jason Todd/Bruce Wayne tribute video right now, I'll show it to you when it's done XD ))
Alfred tutted a bit, "I'm sure Miss Gordon won't put up with playing maid for too long, Master Dick." he chided and turned to complete the sandwich. Sandwiches weren't all that hard to make, so Alfred didn't understand why Dick left him to do it. He put the sandwich on a plate and added some side salad. He then poured him some filtered water and pointed to the table, "Go sit down with it, I don't want crumbs on the clean floor." he warned.
Bruce was starting to think that he'd never get the happy, cheeky little Jason Todd that he'd taken in so many years ago. After Jason died and returned, he didn't seem like the same kid, and it was likely that Ra's life pit may have altered something in the kid's brain. He frowned when Jason tried to justify what he'd done by saying he was protecting innocent life out there and that dead drug lords were just less criminals in Gotham. "You can't fight killing with killing, it just makes you like them, and I'll be damned if I let one of my kids stray off down that path and end up in jail." he explained, tone gruff and serious. "You're becoming like those criminals you want to oppose Jason, you're just looking for an easy way to do it, I get that you're trying to do good, but we have standards, we're not scum like them, YOU'RE not scum like them."

That was why Dick didn’t make himself sandwiches when Alfred was around, Alfred always made a meal of Dick’s requests. Taking the sandwich over to the table Dick sat on the first chair available and took a satisfied bite from the delicious concoction. A moan emitted from the young man and he looked over to the butler with ultimate gratitude. “So good.” Dick said around his mouthful, “thank you Alfred.”
A scoffed laugh left Jason at Bruce’s assertion that he wasn’t ‘scum’ like those he killed. “What fucking Robin do you think you’re talking to Bats?” the teen challenged. In Jason’s mind he was exactly as bad as those he was fighting. He wasn’t afraid of getting down and dirty. Jason didn’t have his mentor’s high morals, part of his never wanted to. Still another part admired Bruce’s dedication to his cause. Course he wasn’t going to tell the man that. Jason had to keep his emotional walls up. He wasn’t going to pretend to be a good kid anymore then he was going to take that step over into full villainy. “I’m not apologizing for what I did last night.” Jason asserted stubbornly.
