Azale crouched low in the tall amber colored grasses of the evening. His long sharpened ears twitching and he sniffed the air. His delicate scenes at work as he waited for his next ‘victim’. He was sure some one would travel by on the barely worn path. His dark heliotrope colored hair shined slightly in the twilight hour light.The changing hues, and shades of the sky reflected upon the Loch Ril'tounen. Sharp grasshopper green eyes kept to the small path looking for the traveler he knew was coming. With worn leather and fur clothing, he bended in to his pale surrounding easily. The hell hound licked a fang impatiently his carnal instincts depending on an easy job. His wrapped a leather clad and clawed hand around the bone hilt of the small skinning knife he had ready to pounce at any moment. True like anywhere else Thievery was not smiled upon but the pale hell hound hadn’t the means of any true work-he preferred the life of traveling. His Dirt smudged skin, and poorly bandaged wounds, proved he hadn’t been to a town in ages He smirked hears the soft foot steps just a head and crouched lower in to his hiding spot before pouncing out at his unseen target hoping to catch them by surprise.

Kalthorn sighed as he walked along the path. His ears flicked back and forth and his gold eyes glowed with unhappiness in the dark of the night. His long bushy tail swayed back and forth as he shuffled along the path. Out of all the available people in the court, why send him? He was one of the best warrior mages available and they send him on a simple errand to deliver a love letter from the prince to the princess... the little brat was perfectly capable of getting on his own horse and riding to his beloved girl himself, so why send him? He paused when he started to snense something... ominous about him. "Whoever you are, you might as well come out of hiding," he coaxed in a gentle yet commanding tenor voice.

Suddenly a small figure about 4’9 leapt out. Azale had taken the small envelope easily and held it up with questionable look. His soft green eyes rand over the pale envelope before breaking the wax seal with the small skinning knife. He removed the note-It wasn’t what he was seeking as he soon found out ears twitched and turned like small radars as he turned to look over the taller male.

Kalthorn growled at the little figure and threw up his hands in a gentle motion. The earth below the little man became unstable and Kalthorn ran forward, sword drawn. "I'll teach you a good lesson, you little thief!" he hissed.

Azale staggered but only a moment before darting off the road side and taking refuge in a tree. He was fast! Proving to be a tough obstacle to catch. The small demon like thief climbed rather high, his light weight making slimmer branches easier to escalate even more in to the sky. "What kind of dolt carries a note instead of zenny? Here take your stupid letter back~! I don’t want it!" His spoke fleeing. He breathed in heavily getting ready to spew a bit of flaming breath if the other perused him in to the tree. The violet haired runt glared down with bright verdant eyes.

Kalthorn frowned up at him. "And you think I'm just going to let you go after that trouble you cause me?" he asked, laying his hand against the tree and muttering a few gentle sounds. The tree bent forward and flicked the little thief out of it's branches, or at least was trying to.

Azale tried to hug a branch but failed at it as his nails slipped through the bark he hit the ground with a thud and coughed from getting the wind knocked out of him. He winced sitting up still coughing and gasping for the precious air his lungs needed. The young Hell hound had also dropped the letter in his decent.

Growling, the fox walked up, grabbed the letter and then yanked the hound to his feet by his neck. "Now, give my one good reason why I shouldn't haul you in to the authorities for theivery."

Azale reached back clawing his nail's at the taller hand Knife too far away to reach. "I'll be free before you leave the building-and you'll just waste time I could be using to get a meal!" He scoffed "Now let me go~!" he squeaked in a falsetto type voice. The younger growled as he tried to pull away.

The warrior mage grunted. "Well then, if what you say is true, I'll just have to dish out my own brand of discipline." He kneeled down and pushed the younger hound over his knee, holding him there.
