a runaway and a shapeshifter
There are tales of a forest where if anyone enters they are eaten by a young woman that can take any shape or form. One night a teen girl decides to go there because she thinks it would quite be suicide then. Instead of getting eaten though she falls asleep and wakes up cuddled against a large black panther who upon awakening turns into a young woman with black hair and green eyes. The woman here's her out and decides to take her in, letting her stay with her though she is a tiny bit strict sometimes she is almost always sure to be loving and kind despite all the nasty rumors.
