As they walked and talked to each other, Naomi smiled, "It was cute to see my prince be born there. Though, it's probably good it skipped to when he was already born...a scene of Princess Toadstool delivering her son might not be good for the viewers." she said.

Rodrigo blinked. "Why? Babies are brought by the stork. Everyone knows it!" he said!

Millie laughed as they went out into the garden. "Oh sweet summer child... How innocent you a-"
She was cut short; a stork flew overhead with a bundled up baby hanging from its beak! Her jaw dropped, as did Naomi's!
A tear of joy glimmered in Zelda's eye. "At last... The time has come!" She said, overcome with happiness. She knew whose baby it was!

Rodrigo smiled! "Awesome! Maybe I'll get a lil bro, or a lil sis...or even a cousin!" he said, running to where the Stork would land!

Once it did, Rodrigo helped pick up the giggling baby girl, and the Stork blinked, and smiled!

"Well, if it isn't little Rodrigo! Why, have you grown!" the stork said.

"Ya know me, miss Stork?" Rodrigo asked, smiling.

"By the Star Spirits, if I know you? I carried you here to deliver you to Mario and Princess Peach!" the Stork said, friendly! "I never forget the babies I bring!"

Zelda gave the stork a bow. "It's always a pleasure to see you, darling. To whom are you bringing this lovely girl?"
The stork gave a wink. "Follow me and you'll see!" She said, this time walking at a leisurely pace along with them.
Naomi was enamoured. "She's sooooo cute mrs. Stork. Look at her, with her... Blue eyes and dark brown hair...." She started to make connections in her mind.
Millie was also endeared, but also confusing. "So this is how you make babies in the Mushroom Kingdom? Gee, where's the fun in that...?" She remarked.

"See? I told ya the storks bring babies!" Rodrigo smiled.

Soon, they arrived on the dining room, where Daisy, Luigi, Peach and Mario were talking.

"Miss Daisy Toadstool, Mr Luigi...huh, "Luigi Mario"? Your surname must be wrong on the registers..." the Stork said, confused, but then smiled, "Congratulations! It has been a while since I brought Rodrigo here to Peach and Mario, and now it's your turn...you are the parents of this adorable baby girl!"

Rodrigo smiled and gave the baby he was carrying to Daisy!

Daisy and Luigi could barely hold their joy! "Our baby is finally here amore!!" Luigi exclaimed, as they both picked her up.
Daisy gave her a gently kiss on the cheek and told her "You're finally home, my sweet Maria..."
Mario looked at Luigi, who gave him a wink! "In your honor, dear brother." He said.
Everyone was absolutely overjoyed with her, and much rejoicing was had! Millie wasted no time and had her dad and Kiawe come over right away!

"Hi, Maria! Name's Rodrigo, nice to meecha! I'm your cousin." Rodrigo said to the baby, smiling, "I promise I'm gonna protect ya from any danger!"

Naomi giggled. "You'll make a lovely cousin my love." She said.
Millie wrapped her arms around them, and said "All three of us will be the best cousins we can be."
Princess Daisy was very happy to see them so caring with her. "Say, how about I ask the three of you to look after her one of these days?" She proposed.

"Count on us too!" Naomi said, also including Millie and Kiawe who nodded.
"I have a baby sister myself, so I know a thing or two about babysitting." Kiawe said, in order to reassure Daisy and Luigi.
Millie gave him a lovestruck look. "You're sooooo attractive when you're in parental mode, my love..." She told him, blushing.
Naomi was a bit more level headed. "That's good to know! But we must pay attention to everything that Daisy and Luigi tell us. Babies must be handled with lots of care." She expressed.
