My sister is a runaway... (For Toshichan)

It was a warm spring night in the big city of Tokyo as 19 year old Takashi Kusanagi was in his apartment working on an assignment from class. It was almost a full year since he moved away from his home in Kyoto. He misses his little sister Amami very much. They had such a close sibling bond and it really was tough when he had to move away. They called each other every now and then but once he got a part time job, those calls became very few and far between. He looked over at a picture of her and sighed as he continued with his homework.

Amami picked up her cell phone and flipped it open, hitting the speed dial for her big brother. She was practically hopping up and down from excitement. She was outside his door and he had no idea! He was going to be so surprised and happy to see her. Who wouldn't? She was adorable. Maybe a little bit of too much self confidence, but still pretty cute. She tucked some of her brown hair behind her ear, her mossy blue eyes smiling. She wondered what they would do. College probably took away from his social life. Sure as hell kept him from calling her as often as possible.

Takashi blinked when his smart phone went off. He picked it up to read the number and read that it was Amami. He smiles and answers "Hay Amami sorry for not calling in awhile... I've been really busy. What's up?" he asked.

"Takashi! Hey, do you leave your door unlocked during the day?" Amami asked. This was going to be so great! She thought of the perfect entrance on her way over here. She would have come in through the window like she used to, but he didn't live on the first floor. The girl held her duffle bag to her side, standing right outside his door. She was always a little too overboard with things. But this was her big brother. She would do almost anything to see him.

"Eh...? Uh yeah why?" He asked, completely unaware of what was about to happen.

Amami immediately hung up and then flung open the door. "Anyone order the best little sister ever?" Amami grinned ear to ear when she saw Takashi. She dropped her duffle bag, kicked off her shoes and ran to him. She didn't even care to shut the door. She jumped on him, wrapping her arms around his neck and legs around his waist. "I've missed you so much!"

Takashi's eyes widened when the door suddenly open and there he saw her. "A-amami!?" he exclaimed before she pounced him and hugged him. Takashi had to take a moment to process this sudden surprise visit. "Amami..." he smiles and hugs her back "What a surprise! I misses you to." he said smiling back at her. "Where's mom and dad I have to thank them." he said thinking they brought her.

Amami looked confused for a second and then realized what he was thinking. She got off of him and started to walk back to the door. "I left them at home. I'm guessing they haven't even realized I'm gone seeing as they haven't called," Amami shrugged it off and picked up her bag, shutting the door and turned back to smile at Takashi. "I don't need them, and they don't need me. So I decided I should live with the one person who truly appreciates me. You! I'm moving in!"

Takashi couldn't believe what he was hearing. "You did what!?" he exclaimed with a raised voice. "Amami I... I can't believe you would do this. I'm calling mom and dad and telling them you're safe, they're most likely worried sick about you."

Amami looked panicked and ran over to Takashi. She grabbed his arm before he could reach for his phone. "No! Takashi, please! Just... Just let me live here, okay? I can get a job and help you pay bills and stuff like that. Just please don't call them... Please. Not yet. Besides, I want to see how long it takes them to call," Amami pulled out a cheeky smile.
