Site Feedback & Suggestions Comments, criticism or suggestions? Let us know! |
Want to get rid of the annoying adverts? The answer is simple. There are 4 levels of advertising on AnimeOTK:
Level 1: (Your Level, guests and members with 0-9 posts) has maximum advertising.
Level 2: (A user with 10 or more posts who has been a member over two weeks) have vastly reduced advertising (including removal of the large full screen closable adverts)
Level 3: (A member who has been registered over a month and has over 50 posts, or has a special account like "artist" or "writer" sees minimal advertising.
Level 4: (VIP Donators) receive no advertising.
All donators of $10 or more will never see an advert on our site again!

More site palettes?
Honestly looking through the vast amounts of options in my user control panel, the most impressive one was being able to change the site's appearance by choosing a set amounts of palettes you let us use.
I was wondering if possibly the administration team could put a few more in, please? Personally, I'd love something green but, beggars can't be choosers, right? Many thanks in advance!

This is all educated speculation, but the themes are most likely system based (VBulletin), so you'd have to create or find your own VBB theme and submit it. And then you'd have to also have an admin approve it. I don't know who else besides me has the power, but you might get lucky with Stoner. This also hinges on the fact that the theme files could only had .css and images... allowing templates/code directly from a user would be dangerous, so if templates/code were required, and you found an already-made one on a trusted site, it would be more likely approved.
Long story short though, I doubt you will have much luck.

l agree with Akuma on this one, however if someone came up with skin suggestions from a vbulletin skin site then it could be discussed, however you need to remember that it would cause a bit of work to copy over custom skin code from our other skins.

Alright well, I don't know the first thing about css code anyway. Also, I don't know how to mess with Vbulletin to get these these themes like you described it. It's a shame that it's as difficult as you say but, maybe there's still hope down the road.
If anyone does have at least what these two say they'll need then, you're welcome to give it to them with my blessing for what it's worth.
