Michelle was even more suprised when Amy as a special treat bought her a nice blue t-shirt and a pair of pink shorts, she rushed to the changing room and put on her new clothes along with her new sandals, she then neatly folded up her orginal clothes and placed them in their shopping bag. As she came out and looked at herself in the mirror she twurled at how cute she looked, Amy complainted her on how grown up she looked with made the young girl blush "Thanks Amy" then Sonic commented on how she looked like both her parents now, hearing that made her heart swell, that meant he really saw her as his daughter, she ran over and gave me a big hug "Does that mean I can start calling you guys 'Mom and Dad'?" she asked smiling.

"Err....please," said Sonic, faultering a bit, "Sonic will do."

"Don't worry," smiled Amy, "He doesn't like people being 'formal' with him."

"Anyway, we'd best be off," said Sonic, "We still have a few more things to buy."

((hehe yay and I just came up with the perfect way))

Michelle started to pout alittle when Sonic insisted that she not call him dad but calmed down when Amy reassured her it was just because he didn't like being addressed in a formal manner "Okay then" she took her shopping bag and continued to walking around the shopping centers holding both Amy's and Sonic's hands, eventhough she was slightly taller then her parents they all still looked so sweet walking together as a family. As they looked around Michelle picked out a really nice boogie board and couldn't wait for her trip to try it out, however the thing was eventhough Michelle was eight years old she never really learned how to swim, Amy had learned that one day while helping her have a bath and filled up the tub to high. Michelle was embarrassed at the fact but still loved the water but Amy was now insisting on buying her a pair of water wings to wear on her field trip and Michelle didn't seem to like that idea at all.

"No come on please Amy I told you I don't want those stupid water wings I will feel like a baby in them plus I will be the only one in my class wearing them they will laugh at me" she complained as Amy was searching her size.

Sonic wasn't saying much at this stage. He was staying out of the action, for unknown reasons....to Michelle, anyway.

Michelle just shook her head "No no no no no!" she continued whining "Don't make me wear it Amy I don't want to seen like a baby" oddly enough acting like one the more she got upset, she then crossed her arms and pouted "I am not wearing it" she said stomping her foot.

People were looking in Michelle's direction, some muttering in disaproval.

"Michelle, stop acting up!" she snapped.

At last, Sonic stepped in. He took hold of both of his daughter's wrists.

"Michelle," he said, trying to stay calm, "I won't warn you again....please calm down."

Michelle ignored the people passing by watching her make such a scene over wearing a simple pair of water wings, she didn't even seem to notice them. When shouted and told her to stop she stomped her foot again "I am not wearing the water wings and that's that" just then Sonic took hold of her wrist and turned her towards him, he then told her in a still calm voice that she best calm down that he wasn't going to warn her again. The little girl looked at the blue hedgehog in the eyes and continued to pout "B...but Sonic I don't wanna wear the water wings it's not fair" she whined.

"Don't stomp your foot at me!" snapped Amy. Even Sonic was losing his patience.

"Michelle, I'm not saying this again," he said, "You're getting those and that's final!"

He looked like he was going to snap if Michelle didn't calm down soon.

Hearing both Amy and Sonic raise their voices at her made the young girl break down, she took a step back raised her hands up to her cheeks and started to cry however wasn't because she was sorry she didn't like to be yelled at, she dropped to her knees and her light cries became ear piercing screams, she was having a full blown tantruam "I don't want to wear the water wings I don't want to wear the water wings!"

Sonic and Amy were about to comfort Michelle when she started crying....until she started throwing a tantrum. By now, everyone was looking in her direction.

"SONIC! MAKE IT STOP!!" yelled Amy, covering her ears.

Sonic had had just about enough. He hauled Michelle over to a nearby stool, sat down and hauled her over his lap. In one move, he seized Michelle's shorts and underwear and pulled them both down at the same time.

Then he raised his hand.....

SMACK! SMACK! SMACK! SMACK! SMACK! SMACK! SMACK! SMACK! SMACK! SMACK!

(yes, only the hand....for the moment.
