It was an ordinary day, or so Crevan thought, and the eighteen year old foxboy was currently working in the local clinic. The day had been surprisingly slow, he'd only had to assist with a few minor bumps and bruises. Nothing to write home about and more importantly nothing to stress himself out about.

Because despite his skill with white magic he had zero self confidence so he worried about everything.

He was starting to clean up, his tail swishing from side to side as he swept the floor, his ears flicking this way and that as they sought out minute sounds. Crevan was very attuned to his surroundings because it didn't pay not to be, bad things could and did happen on a regular basis.

"Crevan!" came the call of one of the main doctors in the clinic. "We need your skills!"

Currently, in the main operating room, sat a local guardsman. Tyler was eighteen as well, and a talented up-and-comer. Still, being talented didn't exactly make him immune to injury. He'd been pierced by a throwing knife with a paralysis poison on it, and was groaning a little, the ginger fox clearly alive, but uncomfortable.

Well... Uncomfortable was an understatement. This royally fucking sucked.

Crevan's ears twitched slightly as he heard his name.

Setting the broom aside he was quick to make his way into the operating room, his blue eyes taking in the patient and of course he noticed that he was cute...no, he was hot. Shaking his head and chiding himself for thinking that he walked over, reaching out and touching the wound with his hands, a white light emanating from them.

He was prepared to work his magic, literally, when his hands made contact with flesh and he felt a strange jolt.

His eyes widened as he tried to figure out what that was.

Tyler's eyes opened at the touch, and he looked at Crevan in shock.

"You... Felt that too?" he asked quietly. He could... Smell Crevan's scent. It was heavy, but pleasant. He knew plenty of omegas, but none stood out so... So brilliantly.

'Snap the fuck out of it, Tyler! You're injured in a hospital bed... Getting horny isn't... Isn't a good plan...!' he mentally scolded himself.

"Um..yea...I think so?"

It sounded almost like a question, Crevan not really sure of what it was that he had felt. He did force his focus back where it belonged at this point however and he went back to healing the wound. It was going to be a bit painful, there would be a burning and a residual sting as he healed the wound and got rid of the poison but he should be able to manage it.

He had taken care of worse after all.

Tyler's quiet hisses of pain were to be expected. But even as one eye closed, the other stayed open. The ginger fox couldn't look away from Crevan.

His pretty chestnut hair... His soft face, currently looking so determined... The shape of his body...

'SNAP THE FUCK OUT OF IT!' he yelped in his head.

It took him a little bit of time, and quite a bit of magic, but Crevan managed to repair the damage that had been done to the ginger fox. "Okay...you're all set," he said as he glanced up, bright blue eyes meeting with intense green ones. And in that moment the chestnut haired fox found himself lost in that gaze.

It was hypnotizing.

To the point where Crevan didn't even realize that he was staring.

Tyler was... Lost. In those blue eyes, in the scent of the omega filling the room, in the strange feeling filling his body.

What the hell was happening?

"You know, you two can... Converse in the recovery room, if you'd like." the doctor pointed out, amused. It was blatantly obvious to HIM what was happening. Clearly not to the two in front of him.

The doctor speaking served to snap Crevan out of it and he looked beyond flustered at that point, the slightly built male sort of sputtering something about having to work. Truth be told he really didn't have that much to do at this point but he didn't know what else he could say.

His ears flicked slightly as he risked a glance back to the patient.

"Um...I'm Crevan," he murmured sort of awkwardly, still feeling that almost irresistible pull toward the alpha.

"You've been on sweeping duty for an hour, I think you can take a break." the doctor chuckled, and headed back to his duties.

"My name is Tyler. Thank you for... For healing me, Crevan." Tyler replied. He felt the pull with every heart beat, currently wanting to touch Crevan again. To feel his skin... Oh god, what the hell was happening?
