I am open to adding more to the daycare - I was actually thinking a while back about somehow getting "trapped" there if rejuved or perhaps even rendered amnesiac, and having to "survive behind bars" as it were, until you could either escape or be rescued (by someone who knows you shouldn't be there, say Matron or Maria or Shilva). I'm not quite sure on the details, though, or if such a storyline would be better used for the "cut content" Vermilion reformatory?

My only problem with the daycare in Frostpoint in the original game was that while I quite fancied Carrie, I found Grelod rather unappealing looks-wise, and wasn't even sure she was supposed to be female or not, as her sprite is female but her original portrait rather unfeminine IMO and "she" was referred to as "he" in at least one dialog (that might have been a typo). Hence, why her portrait changes in DX Mode, to make her definitely "female"!

Key "milestone" events in the main quest, that "unlock" major areas/stuff:
* Finish chores (unlocks Oak Outpost, if I recall)
* Go to bed (passes time to "evening")
* Deliver the dagger (you can do the dagger or book in either order)
* Deliver the evil book (you can do the dagger or book in either order)
* Frostpoint unlocks after book and dagger are delivered
* Talk to king, and do research/get almanac if in DX Mode (masked guy at inn)
* Get amulet for masked guy (lets you talk to king/prince again)
* Talk to king and prince (unlocks festival)
* Finish festival (ends main story, unlocks NG+)

My "complaint" with time passing was always that evening is too long and day is too short... though this is kind of fixed in DX Mode where NG+ is all "day" and most of the new DX stuff and planned DLC is doable in NG+. I started adding "night" (would kick in when Frostpoint is unlocked) but so far it is more work that is worthwhile to add, eventually I will probably do it (the "climb in the windows" option that never works is for planned nighttime thieving!).

She hurts her ankle when she lands and can be found outside at the NE back corner of the INNINN building. When she joins your party, you will find a lock pick on the ground where she was. You take her home and talk to her - this gains you the book on disarming traps.

I don't quite understand what you are asking. If you are asking about where you use the lock pick - you use it all over the game to unlock chests, storage boxes etc. You will need it to solve Veena's Panty Quest. Check everything in every location - you never know what you open with the lock pick(in combination with the lockpicking skill from the book).

You need to do two things, first do the class events on 3rd floor which you need to do anyway for the main quest line (hint, if you are wearing the amulet of goodness, you dont need to get spanked during this event).

And secondly, deliver a punishment slip to her. You can find three in various waste bins in school (hand spanking, caning and paddling) or go hardcore and fake one and get both caned and paddled.

Afterwards, she is in the south-most house on the west wall of the western quarter.

Unless you stole it or have done naughty wearing it and it has changed to the amulet of naughtiness. Then your gonna get spanked.

Thanks to everyone who've been helping others out with these puzzles! You're all awesome!

I've got a favour to ask of anyone who feels like it while I'm finishing update v1.5.4 (in which I've fixed most of the reported bugs and dialog issues, and have now added that you can do the two previously-missable Armei subquests/scenes during NG+ if you skipped them in the morning)...

Could somebody attempt a "pure dom" run and/or a "pure sub" run?

A "Pure Dom" run would be no (or the minimum possible) spankings received, and the highest "Dom" score possible.

A "Pure Sub" run would be the reverse; as many spankings as possible (not counting ones you can repeat over and over) and the highest "Sub" score possible.

I'm very curious if it's even possible to play the game either way (I suspect at least a couple of spankings given/received will be "forced" on the player), and what the average Sub/Dom scores might be.

No problem if nobody has time for this, but I'd like to add a reward for either play style, at least for the main quest if not the whole game.

It would also help highlight any places where it might be possible to offer an alternative path for the player who wanted to play as a pure dom or sub (e.g. a "dom" way to send the headmistress of Frostpoint Academy home).

Obviously, if there are bugs in the way, this might not yet be fully possible to test!

Take it to the masked guy in the basement of the Frostpoint Inn.

If you've done that, you need to go talk to the king again and

 

he'll tell you to speak to the prince, so do that next... that opens the festival, if I remember correctly.
