SSB: The Double Trouble Tourney (for Broken Saint)

Peach chuckled lightly. "Those were the reactions of many other smashers when we first came a long time ago, you aren't the only one." she reassured you.

"Are Mario and or Luigi around ma'am...?" Ness spoke curiously, causing the princess in pink to rub her chin. "I know Mario's out preparing for orientation..."

This is when the other women in orange decided to speak. "Luigi's out trying to catch a few waves...or at least he was..." she stated as she removed her sunglasses enough to see a green surfboard with the letter 'L' on the front wash up onto the sandy shore.

Lara blinked and looked that auburn haired woman. "Are you another princess, ma'am...?"

"Don't call me ma'am...makes me feel older than I already am...and yeah, the name's Daisy..."

Olivia graciously, or at least tried to be as gracious as possible, nodded her head lightly at the mushroom princess' reassurance. "Thank you for such kind words, milady," wait...did Olivia, this childish mage, just said 'milady'!?! And she even bowed a little, almost like if a noble greeting another noble. The black haired woman, in very thin clothing, listened carefully when Peach spoke of how Mario is 'out preparing for orientation.' However the moment she heard Daisy's words and spotted the washed up surfboard the time mage couldn't help but giggle.

"Hopefully he is better at fighting than he is at surfing," the mage chuckled lightly before grinning more. "Heh, perhaps Lara can go out there and show how to really catch some waves," Blue suggested with a delighted tug on Lara's arm, almost as if completely forgetting what has happened mere moments ago.

Peach couldn't help but chuckle slightly as Olivia tried to address her in such a formal manner. It was actually kind of cute.

It was at what Olivia had said about Lara, that Daisy grew interested and sat up. "Oh...you know how to surf them...?" she asked with a grin, this caused the dragon knight to tense and rub the back of her head with a nervous giggle. "W-Well I...n-not really...I just...dabble...hehe..." she muttered, uncharacteristically nervous.

Eventually along with the surfboard, a man washed up onto the sandy shore as well, face first in the ground below.

Ness looked over and couldn't help but laugh. "You okay over there, Luigi...?" at that the man in green trunks stuck an uneasy thumbs up, before picking himself up using his free arms and coughing the sand out of his mouth. Then he he stuck his tongue out, where a clam shell laid after he caught it from his wipeout. He soon spit that out too and took a deep breath. "I give up..."

The fact that she tried really hard to actually address the princess in such a manner could have made the time mage look completely adorable for multiple people, so the chuckle from Peach was highly expected.

But after hearing both Lara and Daisy's words Olivia beamed a bright smile. "Come on Lara, there is no need to sell yourself short!" the black haired girl stated quite cheerfully, quite oblivious about the possibility of there being a reason why a fire breathing girl would be nervous about possibly surfing in the blue water of the sea.

However Olivia found herself unable to resist the temptation to laugh once she saw the man in green trunks go face first into the sand, mostly because she thought the overall scene - clam shell and all - was highly hilarious. "I'm guessing that he is 'Luigi'...right? the scantily dressed mage asked lightly while motioning towards the guy.

"Eheh...hehe...umm...m-maybe some other time, I'll show you..." Lara said, still with that nervous giggle. Water wasn't necessarily his favorite area to be in, but she wanted to impress these princesses, and she didn't like being shoehorned into having to perform a skill she was...average at, at best.

Daisy however, couldn't help but grin. "Well, your friend says that you can do it, so I'm sure you're fine, you have to be better than my husband at least. I can't wait, you HAVE to show me before this tournament's over...!" then she turned over to the green clad man recovering int he sand. "Time to call it a day sweetie!"

Ness couldn't help but laugh. "Yeah man, before you end up hurting yourself...!" he remarked with chuckle.

Eventually, the one called Luigi finally recovered and stood up. "Jeez...can't believe I still can't get it down..." but upon seeing Olivia, the scantily dressed mage made his eyes bug out a bit, but he kept his composure and guessed. "Hmm...? New fighter right?"

The giggle was noticed by the mage...but not the nervousness of it as she smiled at the words 'I'll show you.' "She'll be amazing at it. I know it! After all, I'm sure there isn't much difference between riding the sky and riding the sea...right?" the female thought, not even compensating the possibility that Lara isn't as Little Miss Perfect as she thought she would be.

However another thing that caught her attention was Luigi and his question about her being a new fighter. "You'd be absolutely right!" Olivia stated quite excitably with a bright smile on her face, completely oblivious to the fact that the way she dresses could be what his eyes were on. "Both me and Lara here are new fighters who plan to dominate this tournament!" she delightfully said with an accidental tug of the Dragon Knight's arm.

A bead of sweat ran down the back of the dragon girl's head, she was completely pissed that she was stuck in this situation, and due to her own pride, be forced to surf for the auburn haired princess. She didn't know if this was done completely by accident or if it was Olivia's way of trying to get revenge, a good portion of her knew it was simply the first, but she was too mad to let it go now, but of course she didn't let her anger show.

Then she blinked and turned over to see the second of the twelve veterans they would meet and Olivia introduce them both so charismatically. Her current mix of emotion caused her to stumble a bit at being tugged, "Ngh...!" but she quickly regained her composure and stood straight with crossed arms. "Indeed, that is the goal...'

Luigi couldn't help but give the occasional secret glance toward Olivia's scantily dressed figure, but soon had his eyes on both women standing in front of him. "Oh...! G-great, I'm glad that you were invited to p-participate, I-I'm Luigi Mario, a pleasure...!"

"Ya know, your job is to be out on the floor helping the guests around..." Ness spoke as he smiled, earning an instant retort. "I-I was...! I-I was showing my wife around the area in which she will be staying!" he said, pointing over to Daisy, who simply chuckled at his disposition. Peach then sighed. "I think she's all settled in..."

"Ugh...fine, I'll be out on the floor soon...but a word of advice for you ladies..." Luigi spoke causing Lara to pay attention. "Do not go up to the mountain that lies behind the plaza..." he said, pointing up to see the large land mass protruding up behind the isle.

Lara crossed her arms, significantly curious. "What lies there...?" she said, noting the ominous exterior and how the clear blue sky seemed to alter and change into a dark scarlet cloudy atmosphere as one approached what would be a volcano.

The other four looked at each other and spoke in sync. "Bowser...."

Like her usual self Olivia failed to realise how possibly pissed off the Dragon Knight is about practically being talked into doing an activity that she isn't great at, especially when Lara tries to not let such anger show. The childish magic user also doesn't come to the realisation that she s the reason why her best, as well as only, friend is getting frustrated as she listened to Lara state that winning the tournament 'is the goal.'

The time mage was also failing to realise that Luigi, this married man, to glancing at her figure and how she looks in her thin dress. However she did react to when Luigi spoke of how he is showing Daisy where she is staying. "So you're in the tournament too?" Blue enthusiastically questioned Daisy with a smile. "If so then who are you partnering?" Even though asking her question Olivia's attention span seem to be similar to a goldfish in this occasion as her attention was instantly caught on the hook of Luigi's words about not going to the mountain.

"...Bowser? He doesn't sound too bad to me," the raven haired female stated lightly, almost as if missing the obvious warning in the way the four of them stated Bowser's name in complete unison.

Daisy smirked as Olivia asked if she was apart of the tournament. "Yep! And the princess in pink's my partner..." she pointed out, causing the blonde to rub the back of her head with an embarrassed chuckle.

Lara smiled lightly. "Well...I look forward to seeing your skills in the matches to come..." but as Bowser was brought up she grew intrigued. Olivia's comment about this shady character wasn't surprising. "Who is Bowser...?"

"Bowser is just one of those people you don't even want to be in contact with..." Luigi said simply. "Unless you have to fight him, avoid him at all costs..." he warned, before sticking up his fingers. "In this tournament, there are three people you want to avoid with all effort..." he pointed. "They're not only dangerous and immensely powerful...but they're just...well..."

"Bad guys..." Ness remarked simply. "One of them's from your world actually." he pointed out, causing Luigi to blink and soon notice the emblem mark on both Lara's and Olivia's hands. "Ah...you're from Link's world..."

"And I'll look forward to taking on royalty!" Olivia delightfully stated after not only hearing Daisy point out that herself and Peach are going to fight but also at her partner's words about looking forward to seeing the Princesses' 'skills in the matches to come.' Yet her confusion about Bowser could still be easy to notice as she attentively listened to Luigi try to explain about how Bowser is the type of person that 'Unless you have to fight him, avoid him at all costs.'

"Pah, I bet me and Lara could crush this Bowser in moments," went through the confident mage's mind before one name switched her attention again. "Link?" Olivia's interest now shifted over at the mentioning of that one name...the Hero of their world. "So he's one of the veterans here? Which Link though? I've seen a couple in my time," Blue wondered, questioned and spoke so damn casually, as if speaking about the weather instead of about 'bad guys'...how old is this time mage?
