At Olivia's lax attitude in response to her own answer, Lara shook her head. "I never underestimate, nor hold back on anything, you know this, because you don't know what your opponent might be capable of, which could eventually lead to trouble...still though, I can't deny that a little challenge would be better..." she spoke before asking her own question.
And upon hearing her partner's response that one, Lara swallowed the last piece of her meat and sighed deeply, and then scoffing at the other girl's proclamation that 'she wasn't that bad when it came to her awareness'. "Please...I've seen children with a better attention span than you...." she said, and while it was rather blunt, she wasn't trying to be mean. After all, she and Olivia have known each other for many years, and it definitely wasn't the first time that she showed some concern for her partner and friend. Nor was it the first time that she took drastic measures to help her 'improve'.
"Honestly, I'm contemplating buying you a set of armor in the next town we come across..." Lara admitted, before preparing to walk out. "Come...let's find the remaining Gorons...and collect our pay..."

Olivia nodded lightly at Lara's first set of words, understanding what her long time partner, as well as practically the only person to have been able to coup with the mage's childish antics for so long. However it was only at the last sentence that the blacked haired girl brought out a verbal response of her own. "Once a decent challenge shows up then maybe, just maybe, I'll become a little more serious," she answered as her friend finished the meat that she cooked for her.
Another pout appeared on her face again when she was bluntly told that there are 'children with a better attention span' than her. "That isn't true!" she whined, even stamping her right foot up and down to look approximately twenty years younger than she appears. Even though having experienced some of the 'drastic measures' that Lara has done in an attempt to make the mage improve.
"But if you ever did then we'll never be able to afford some 'treeeeats'," Olivia purposely dragged out her final word to tease her friend as she followed the dragon girl out. "Yeah, without pay this entire game has been for nothing!" the extremely scantily dressed woman whined once more.

"Well then let's hope that day comes soon..." Lara remarked as she continued walking. As soon as Olivia began to whine and protest that her previous blunt accusation was false, Lara actually chuckled, finding it amusing, until Olivia suddenly brought 'treats' into the conversation.
Oh, if Lara had a weakness then it was anything sugary, but she tried not to let it show even though both girls knew that Olivia had struck gold. "Hmmm...." she gave a silent moan as her mouth began to water a little but didn't leak. "Uh...!!" then she quickly shook her head and composed herself as Olivia spoke her final statement. "Relax...I made sure that we would be rewarded upon completion of the task...they would know better than to try and go back on their words..."

"I've waited very long for such a day...and I expect to wait until the end of time to get it," Olivia remarked back to her friend's comment of how she hopes 'that day comes soon.' Olivia remained pouting though as she was very - extremely - able to easily spot that the tunic wearing girl chuckled at her whine...but found herself to be giggling the moment she mentioned 'treats.'
Din knows when she found this 'weakness' out but once she has Olivia has never once missed a chance to exploit it, be it to get something or just to make her friend happy. The quiet moan and the watering mouth made the mage giggle more but she did nod after hearing Lara's comment about how foolish the Gorons would be to pull out of their side of the deal now. "They better, the last lot to pay us conned us out of the money," by 'conned' what those people did was actually play to Olivia's love of having fun and cheated them out of half of their rupees. But as she made her grumble the two managed to arrive at the main base of the Goron forces that hired them.

Lara listened to Olivia remark what happened the last time they didn't get their full payment and rolled her eyes. "By that do you mean that it was your fault due to the fact that they took advantage of your personality..." she said with a sigh.
As they made it back to the main base of the Gorons, who were eager to see that the women have come back unscathed, showing that it was easy task for the both of them to handle on their own. But before the soldiers could surround them. The Chief made himself known, still lugging a giant hammer over his shoulder. "Hmm?"
"Darunia...we've cleared out the Goblins as you've asked...now if you would kindly give us our reward so that we can be off..." Lara said, getting straight to the point, after all...the thought of sweets were on her mind, and there wasn't a bakery too far from their location. How she managed to mark where that exact spot was, only the Goddesses knew.
"Aren't you feisty...however I'm not surprised, you were always known to be straight to the point...you will be rewarded as promised, however, you should be told...strange parcels came specifically for you both..." the Chief spoke, causing Lara to raise a brow. "Starange parcels...are they job requests...? Bring them..."

Lara's correction was simply welcomed with a very familiar pout upon the pouty mage's face as, instead of making a verbal response, Olivia followed Lara into the Goron's main base, where they would be welcomed by Darunia himself. Like expected the childish magic user didn't say a thing, preferring to let her more serious partner do the talking since the last time they lost rupees was definitely down to Olivia letting the people talk her into that disastrous game.
'strange parcels came specifically for you both'
That comment switched the black haired girl's attention straight back into the conversation. "Who would send us parcels? Bring them, and please be quick," Olivia was quick to request as the gleam of curiosity shines brightly within her eyes. She honestly forgot the last time someone has ever sent her a gift outside a written down job offer, let alone a parcel...even though a present would be wonderful, if she ever remembers when her birthday is.

Lara immediately noticed Olivia's excitement and sighed, almost anything with mystery intrigued her partner, but she couldn't help but be interested as well.
A Goron messenger ended up stepping forward upon the girls' commands to bring the parcels to them. They were neatly folded envelopes with a creamy color, and on the front of the letters were an insignia that was unfamiliar to anyone in their land that pasted the flaps shut. Not only that but on the back of each letter both the girls' names, surname included were typed in something that was too neat to be handwritten.
Lara raised a brow. "How strange..." she muttered, as she took hold of her letter with a frown. "The insignia, the packaging...they definitely aren't from around here...and I doubt it's a request...nor a present..." she said, shooting Olivia a look as if she expected the other girl to think it might be a gift, and she wanted to keep her from getting hopes too high. Then she slowly began to open it, but as soon as she touched the insignia to open the letter, the symbol began to glow brightly.

"I've never seen this insignia before...this isn't Hylian..." Olivia mumbled out the moment she saw the insignia, her voice temporarily showing confusion and slight caution for she often boosts knowing everything - from how the land was created to how a certain point in life will split off into three separate dimensions - yet temporarily is the keyword of that line as she spotted her last name of 'Blue'. "Oh...that's my surname? I must have forgotten it with time," Olivia giggled after saying her words.
However that giggle was cut short by the look on Lara's face, pouting once more at how her hopefulness was cut short. She did look genuinely surprised by the glowing of the insignia though. "A spell of some kind?" she questioned before touching the insignia on her own envelope and, like expected, it began to glow as well. "Well...this glow is similar to a teleportation spell I've read up..." the time mage mumbled lightly, keeping to theory yet not realising how accurate her theory could end up being.

Lara looked over toward Olivia's direction as she noticed the hint of confusion in her voice and was genuinely surprised. Never once had the mage ever been stumped on something that foreign to Lara, but now they were both equally confused. But upon hearing how Olivia forgot her own last name, she shook her head. "How could you forget something like that...?I understand your birthday just slightly, but your surname is just ridiculous..."
But as Olivia remarked that the glowing was similar to that of the beginning of a teleportation spell, Lara's frown deepened. "Tch...they must be former enemies..." she concluded. "But still...how would they know information that we didn't disclose...did they study us...?" she wondered, but as she did, the girls themselves began to glow, unbeknownst to them until it was too late. As they vanished from their present location and appeared a space that was fully black in the distance and seemed to be infinite in length. However they could see each other as if the room was fully lit, but they were stuck.
Lara gasped as she was taken off guard by the sudden move and nearly stumbled as she landed on the floor that was fully black, and the texture beneath her feet was fully smooth. "Ugh...! You jinx us, Olivia...!" she groaned. "Where are we...?!" then she unsheathed and brandished her sword as she was annoyed. "Whoever you are that sent us here! Come out and show yourself, before I become even angrier!" she warned.

Olivia could clearly tell how surprised Lara is that the time mage doesn't really know what this foreign insignia is. However a pout brought itself back upon her pouty face the moment she heard the dragon girl state how forgetting her own 'surname is just ridiculous' before she touched the insignia which began to glow at such a mere touch.
"I dou-" before Olivia Blue could saying speak her doubt, to the likelihood of a former enemy managing to study them without either of them knowing, both of them were consumed by the glow. The moment the mage blinked they found themselves in some kind of dark room of blackness. However, instead of listening to Lara's words, the black haired magic user began to press her hands against the invisible walls.
The moment her name was called Olivia dropped down to her knees as her hands holding onto the sides of her head, the mage's claustrophobia kicking in as she is muttering some ancient Hylian language franticly and vibrating almost violently.
