Star Wars: Shadows of The Sith

Ralis paced his cell, struggling against his binder cuffs. The two Jedi Knights guarding the young Sith kept a close eye on him, never letting him out of their sight for a moment.

"I'll kill you all when my master frees me!" The Cathar threatened, ears and tail twitching. He had no idea that a thousand years had passed since he'd entered the sarcophagus-like device to test it for his master, to see if it would allow his master to sleep until the end of the war and then be released on an unsuspecting galaxy.

It had worked, far better than the Sith Master had anticipated. Within the sarcophagus Ralis had missed the orbital bombardment that destroyed the Sith base and killed his master, been found by treasure-hunters, sold and resold as the legend of the Sith sarcophagus and the supposedly fantastic treasure it contained grew and grew. But no one could figure out how to open it. Even the most advanced scanners couldn't pierce it's arcane construction.

Finally it had found it's way to the Jedi Temple of Coruscant, then shoved in a storeroom and forgotten, until a padawan assigned to cleaning duty had, completely by accident, input the correct sequence of taps on the lid to open it.

The release of Dark Side energy had been felt by every Jedi in the temple, sending every knight and master running for the old storeroom, only to find Ralis with his lightsaber at the padawan's neck.

The Sith had quickly been captured and placed in a cell, as the Jedi Council debated what to do with him.

A Jedi Master named Jaydon Carsell was eventually chosen to try and turn the Young Sith to the Light Side.

Ralis looked up as the door to the prison block opened. He sneered and spat in the Jedi's direction. "Have you come to kill me while I'm bound, Jedi coward?"

"No, it has been decided that I am to try and turn you." Jaydon said. "And I know how Sith masters treated their apprentices back then, I know how to get you to respect me." Jaydon said, thinking it would be best to treat him like a Sith for the time being. He then used the Force to lift Ralis out of the cell.

Ralis hissed and growled, straining against his cuffs. "When I get out of these, you will BEG for the release of death Jedi!"

Jaydon said nothing as he took Ralis to his bedroom and put him on his feet before releasing his Force grip on the boy but not undoing his cuffs.

Ralis leaned forwards and tried to bite the man's neck.

Jaydon stepped back. "You will lean to respect me, I said I would treat you like a Sith apprentice and I intend to do that. You will undress and submit to a thrashing."

The boy seemed taken aback by that. "What...you cannot be serious! I'm not some little kid!"

"It is the only punishment Sith use, is it not?" Jaydon asked. "At least, besides mutilation and death, correct?"
