Alex respectfully met his eyes as he scolded her and she nodded her head when he was finished, none of her trainers had ever told her that before but it made sense the way he explained it to her. Alex looked up at him again as he explained to her why her page trainers had not thought to teach her to use her mobility to her advantage before and that made sense so she nodded. She was a bit surprised when he went on the attack again but she recovered and managed to block then started trying to avoid his attacks as she listened to him saying she might get Naxon's weight. "My father is a large man, I could get bigger than that" She protested, though her mother had been average for a woman so it probably wasn't likely.

Alex sort of made a face at Icaret when he pointed out that she wouldn't get that big, which was something she really did know but she didn't like it because it was just another of htose things that made this hard for her and she already had enough problems in that department. He sped up then and she had to focus on what the were doing and for about fifteen minutes she was managing to keep his blade away from her and giving the occasional counter strike but then she eventually missed a block and once again got hit by his sword and yelped in pain, she was panting at that point, and reached up to wipe her sweat off her brow.

Icaret sheathed his sword "I'll give you exercises to do to build your strength, maneuverability and stamina, if you outlast stronger opponents it will be an advantage."

Alex sheathed her sword when he did, just out of habit, and nodded when he told her about the exercises she would have to do. "Yes Sir. Are we going to start now?" She asked, trying to catch her breath but she'd be fine after a short break or just a few minutes to collect herself before moving onto the next thing, she was used to hard work and long training days.

Alex nodded and went to the water barrel to get something to drink, sipping it slowly so she didn't hurt her stomach but she didn't dawdle long before returning to the practice yard and waiting to find out what the exercises were going to be.
