Taming the Titan {for Yoshii}

Much to his happiness Eren actually managed to make it to his room without running into anyone and he closed the door behind him before going over to the bed and falling onto it. His backside was sore and he reached back to rub it in a futile attempt to get rid of the sting. "Damn...can't believe he actually did that," Eren muttered to himself, free to say what he wanted now that he was alone.

Getting used to this early time, it was no problem for Levi to get up at about 7 am, and making himself ready for the day. His bones hurt so he was glad he didn't have to sit on a horse today but could relax a little bit by just cleaning. He got to a wardrobe, located right in his office, directly in the opposite corner where Eren hat to.stand last night, getting out various cleaning implements such as brooms, brushed, pails and dusters. After preparing all the stuff he sat down at his desk, finally beginnging with his work, waiting for Eren.

Eren knew that he had to rise early and he actually did manage to get up, glad that the throb in his bottom from the night before was gone now. Still he wasn't particularly looking forward to a day spent cleaning and he really didn't get why the hell Captain Levi was so OCD when it came to that sort of thing. Why in the world would a soldier be obsessed with cleaning of all things? He just didn't get it.

Working concentrated sure was the best thing, so Levi had all the things done, faster than he thought. He just had to sign some things anyway so he could soon bring that stack of paper to the commanders office, before getting himself a mug of coffee. Drinking that hot liquid he made his way through the halls which were pretty silent at this time. Some of the soldiers were still sleeping, but most of them were outside, training. When Lwvi got back to his office, his mug was already half empty.

Eren wasn't quite sure what it was that he was supposed to be cleaning and because of that he was more or less just wandering around sort of aimlessly. As far as he could tell nothing was really that dirty so why it was that Levi was so adamant that they needed to clean was completely beyond him. His theory on that was that the man just had an obsession with it.

Intending to bring back his coffeemug to the kitchen, Levi walked through the halls again as he saw Eren just kind of strolling around in here. “Are you finished with cleaning you room, Jaeger ? You can start with the stables then.“
For today they didn't have a mission and the training was just in the afternoon, but Levi thought it wouldn't be good for a soldier to stay in bed till midday, and that was the reason why he had to get up earlier.

Eren turned at the sound of Levi's voice and he cursed his bad luck for running into the man, the younger nodding his head when asked about his room. "Yea, it's clean," he said, nodding his head. And it was, by his standards. He wasn't exactly a slob so as far as he was concerned his room was clean, and it wasn't as though he was there enough to get it really dirty anyway. When Levi went on to tell him that he could start cleaning the stables Eren just nodded his head, saluting as he said, "Yes sir."

Sure it wasn't the best job in the world but at least he would be away from Levi and he rather liked the horses.

“Good.“ Levi said, and was pretty satisfied with the boys behaviour. “Did you sleep well ? You sure could not lie on your back, could you ?“ he just wanted to tease the boy a little bit, as he had nothing to do right now. The castle itself was pretty clean and he couldn't see why he should clean for example the trainee's bedroom, so he could either sit in his office and stare at the wall, or tease Eren. He choose the second option.

Eren looked at Levi when he asked if he had slept well and while he wanted to snap at the man he knew that wasn't a smart move to make so he just nodded his head. "Quite well sir," he replied, telling a complete lie but he didn't really care about that, there was absolutely no way that he was going to allow the man to know just how much the previous day's punishment had affected him.

Levi had to grin. He knew exactly that Eren was lying, he could see that in the boy eyes, but didn't really care about now. “Well, I'm glad to hear that ~ Now go back to work Jaeger“ he said, walking past the boy.
Maybe he could go outside and train a little bit or clean his equipment.
