Toddlers In Command

Spock nodded when he was asked if it felt much better and looked around the nursery for something new to play with. As he was set on the ground Spock shot off like a rocket toward the toy chest opening it slowly gasping at all the great to us inside, there was cars and ships bigger blocks! It was a toddlers dream come true, he started pulling out every toy his eyes laid upon pilling them up around him happily. He kept looking back every once in a while to make sure Bones was still there watching him then pushed all the toys over to his care taker, after all that Spock just ran out the room to get something to munch on.

As soon as Scotty took the pahser he locked it into one of the drawers then looked up at the little boy crying his heart out on the ground. He shook his head sighing and bent down to pick Jim up, having the tot in his arms he wiped the tears away,"Now now, non of that Jim that phaser is not a toy and you can't have it so stop that little tantrum you're doing! It won't do any good at all.",he said sighing softly. He brought the boy into a room picking up a toy phaser and giving it to him,"There you go Little lad a nice phaser to play with.",he said setting him on the ground just in time to watch Spock run past the door making to man chuckle softly while watching Jim.

Bones watched Spock play for a while, thinking that the safety gate in place would have stopped little Spock from running off, but that didn't happen. "Spock.." he sighed and rushed after him, scooping him up and shaking his head. "Y'can't just go running off Spock, it's dangerous on this big ship and I could end up losin' ya somewhere." he told him sternly, patting his little bottom.

Jim continued to howl and sob as Scotty picked him up and he sobbed louder when Scotty yelled at him. "Waaaants!!!" he howled and then he was carried to a room and given a toy phaser to play with, the four year old stopped crying immediately and giggled as he played with the toy. As he was put on the floor, he rushed around using up all his energy.

Spock looked up at Bones pouting,"But Wungwy!",he whined rubbing his tummy and pointing to the mess hall sniffling. He kicked his little feet to get free and get some food maybe some milk but I had to be something soft.

Scotty sighed when the boy kept wailing after he scolded him and rubbed his head slowly humming a melody. When he was set down he watched Jim sighed seeing him run about the place,'At least he's using his energy up.",the man thought.

Bones nodded his head, "Alright I think I can get you some mushy peas to eat." he told him and carried him into the mess hall, preparing a little pot of green mush for the Vulcan. He sat him down and scooped some up, feeding him the mushy food.

Jim paused for a minute, deep concentration on his young face, turning red a bit but then he went back to playing. Soon the child had filled his diaper and the smell just seemed to follow him. "'Cotty play!" he giggled and went to him, jumping and grinning.

Spock took one look at the green mush and stuck his hand out pushing the spoon back,"Nu!",he said moving his face about and ducking away from it. "I nu wan it!", he cried taking the spoon and slipping the too into his face.

Scotty took the toddler up and held him away at the smell," Someone needs a diaper change.",he said carrying him to the wash room to change his diaper. He untaped the diaper and held his breath wiping the boys bottom and putting it in the diaper and wrapping it up then tossed it out. He then powdered his bottom and oiled it then taped a new diaper on him,"There go go Jim.",he said patting his head.

Bones sighed and gave young Spock a stern look, "Spock you need to eat this food, it's nice, you have always liked peas." he reminded him and fed him some more of the green mush into his face. "If you don't eat it Spock, you'll go in time out." he scolded him and sighed heavily.

Jim squirmed, "No wanna changey!" he whined as he was laid down, the boy kicked his legs but he did feel better once he was changed. He giggled when Scotty patted his head and he squirmed around, wetting the new fresh diaper. "Wet!" he whined.

He pouted eating some slowly storing it in his cheeks then spit it out at Bones then said ,"Yuck!"he huffed angerly. Spock looked around reaching for some eggs happily,"Food!",he said grinning.

Scotty sighed and started to change him again holding the diaper in front of his wee wee just in case then wiped him down and changed him into a new diaper happily. He then picked him up,"Come on let's go.", Scotty said happily.

Bones looked at the eggs and sighed, wiping the spit off of him and he handed him some scrambled eggs, just so he could get the toddler to eat something at least.

Jim giggled as he was picked up after being changed a second time and he laid his head on the man's shoulder, sucking on his pacifier.

He ate the eggs up happily,"Wummy! Wis is wood! ",Spock said happily and kept eating it then yawned a little. He took some more food and ate happily again then squirmed in his seat ready to eat some more food. Spock licked the spoon giggling while yawning," Wones sweepy!",she said.

Scotty grinned happily rocking the boy back and forth giggling, "Oh you're such a cute little lad." He spun him around then brought the boy to bed putting his footie PJs back on him.

Bones smiled and rubbed his back, "I bet it is." he answered gently and then noticed how tired the little tot was. "Okay I think it's time for a nap." he told him, scooping him up and carrying him back to his room.

Jim giggled up at him and settled down in his bed, sucking on his pacifier and closing his eyes to sleep.
