Legolas nodded, eating his own sausages.
"Aye, Ada told me," he said.
"But he also said he would not send Ala to us," he added, cheerfully.

Elrond smiled, and patted Thranduil's arm.
"I know, my dear friend."
He wasn't entirely sure what had happened to Legolas's mother, but he would never ask.

Thranduil smiled slightly as his dear friend. "But I am grateful for Legolas...he is my greatest treasure." He said, before turning to said treasure. "Ion, I want those eggs gone before breakfast ends." He said.

The twins had eaten everything on their plates other than the eggs. They hoped their watchful Ada wouldn't notice, but of course he probably would.
"Did he really? At least Erestor is willing to play with us...Ala hates us."

"The same to you, my sons. Eat them, if you will," Elrond said, nodding to the eggs. His sons were his greatests joys, not counting his daughter, Arwen, who lived in Lothlorien with her grand-dame and grand-sire. After Celebrian had sailed, he had agree to have his daughter fostered in 'Lorien.

Legolas pouted a bit.
"Ada, I do not like eggs," he murmured softly.

"But Ada...eggs are slimy..." Elrohir said.
"They do not taste good." Elladan added, his bottom lip sticking out.

"They are good for you Ion." Thranduil said. "Please eat them, or I will ensure you sit at the table until you do, even if that takes all of today."

"They are good for you," Elrond said, his brow arching at them.
"I want you to eat them, my sons. You shall not be allowed to play until they are gone."

Legolas cast his ada a woeful look.
"Oh, Ada, no! Please, I do not like them!" he exclaimed.

"Don't want to." Elladan pouted, poking the eggs with his fork. "They are nasty."
Elrohir nodded in agreement. "Please Ada, no!"

Thranduil ignored the pout and shook his head. "Eat my son, or you will sit until you do so." He warned, eyeing his son.

Elrond arched a brow at them.
"If you do not eat, you shall be sitting there with a sorer backside until they are gone," he said, sternly.

Legolas pouted, looking up through his lashes.
"Ada, please, don't make me eat them."

The twins squeaked in fear at having their still sore bottoms spanked yet again. Elladan slowly picked up the fork and began to eat, wincing slightly. Elrohir followed his example shortly after.

Thranduil raised an eyebrow. "Do not pout at me Legolas. You can eat them now, or you can eat them later sitting on a freshly spanked backside. It is your choice, but you will still eat the eggs."

Pleased, Elton's nodded and finished his own eggs.


Legolas sniffled and slowly picked up his fork. He didn't want a spanking.

The two choked down the eggs and wiped their mouths. "Can we go now Ada?" Elladan asked.
"Please Ada?"

Thranduil nodded. "Thank you ion nin." He resumed conversing with Lord Elrond.
