Human girl didn't hold the scroll anymore (and one of monster's tentales catched it carefully), which was good, but her words - as far as the Guard could understand her, girl's thoughts were so indistinct in her current stage - were giving mixed messages. So...

"Unfair To Protect Other's Property?" - maybe human could articulate the question, that female warrior felt in her head, that way. In a second she also felt another slap on her butt.

"Stop, please" She muttered like anyounger child while kicking her legs. "Unfair t...to..to keep kn...hic...knowledge that... that c...could...waaah... could be useful to a whole race" She sobbed and hiccupped.

"Think... think about it, m...monster" She sobbed and began to cry freely, no having more strength to fight. "Stop iiiit, I'll be goood"

The Guard was confused. Seemed like human really wasn't going to steal from the Temple again, but she still repeated that "un-fa-ir" word... It felt, that the warrior girl really belived in that, and so... It couldn't admit that she's right, because was created just to protect this Temple, but maybe girl at least wasn't bad even if she tried to steal from there?..

Anyway, she promised to be good from now on. Enough with the punishment.

The Guard lifted warrior from it's lap and hugged caredully and a little awkwardly, since it was so much bigger then her. It's tentacles gave her bottom cool touches, started to rub it very gently...

The girl sobbed and hugged it badk, even if she didn't bekiev she was doing something wrong she wanted a hug, like a just spanked kid wants a snuggle.

"I... I... I'm sorry monster" She whimpered while she hid her face on its "chest". "B...hic... but please think on it?" She requested then before just snuggling closer and hiccupping, like a well spanked and needy kid.

Her perseverance (it wouldn't consider it as stubborness anymore) impressed the Guard. It couldn't resisy it's primal goal, but... Not letting her to take the sctoll. Just punish her properly. That was possible.

Guard spend some time, gently caressing human's burning bottom and letting her cry all her frustration away. Then warrior's crying vanished more or less and she calmed down, the Guard took her from it's lap and pointed to the corner again. And put the healing scroll into her hand.

You're Punished. Stay There Until You Learn That" - mental messages couldn't transmit secondary meanings, but the Guard hoped that human was clever enough. In fact it highlt doubted that she could understand and learn the infirmation from the sctoll, but... If she wish to try...

The human girl kept herself half snuggled to it as it comforted her, mumbling apologizes at it, mostly for disturbing it, not that much for trying to reach for the knowledge left behind, she kept her head against its shoulder and began to calm down eventually, until she was only hiccuping gently and resting there, calmly, ,like a just spanked child who learned her lesson yet who is now tired.

Once she rested, though, she was up to her feet again, and when the corner was pointed at she went to it obediently, however, to her surprise, she found how the scroll was put in her hand. Looking at the Monster she nodded in understanding and sniffed a bit.

"T....Thanks, Monster" She whispered and began to read the scroll, no longer moving nor doing anything that wasn't allowed of her. Indeed it was extremely difficult to read and much more to learn, but she was persistent and read on, at time whispering questions to the monster, this time much more politely and calm than before.

To it's own surprise, the Guard found out that it likes to teach. Maybe that was a side effect of striving to punish, that it's creator gave it long ago... Guard answered as it could, feeling like doing something wrong and something right at the same time.

The girl nodded and smiled at it when the lessons stopped, staying around with him until she learned as much as she could, to prove this she used her knowledge with some nearby plants, to see if they could be healed, still she only tried that and went back to the corner, waiting for her punishment to be over.

If Guard could smiled, it would now. But it's mouth wasn't created for that purpose, so instead it rubbed warrior's behind and then patted it a few times, very gently and soft. "You've Learnt. You Can Come Out. And Go" This mental message was touched with emotions hust as gentle, as touch of Guard's tentacle. Then it took the sctoll from human's hands (she knew what was there anyway)... And added after a second to it's own surprise: "If You Come Again You'll Be Punished. And Will Have Another Lesson In The Corner".
The Guard just couldn't let anyone to take master's books, but... It could cheat himself, like today, again. Of course, Guard would have to give warrior girl another spanking if she return, to fulfil it's duty (thought not so hard as today, before it learnt to teach in other ways abd other things)... Well, that's up to her and her willingness to get the needed knowledge.
The Guard added a mental image of warrior getting spanked and then reading the sctoll in the corner to make sure she understood it's strange offer. And stepped aside, giving her way out of the Temple.

The warrior looked at it and left the corner before standing in front of it, she was now calm and open to listen and let him take the scroll away without any protest.

She tensed at the pats but then relaxed and looked up at it, having a look alike that of a kid who just leaned a lesson, she listened to it and gulped a bit, absentmindely rubbing her behind and then nodding again.

"Ok, Monster, I'll use this... but I will come back too, but not too soon" Cari whispered, knowing that she would get spanked again, but it seemed like a fair deal, and she knew that thing weren't free. As the monster gave her way to leave the place she stopped and then hugged it briefly, it was strange but both the spanking and the lesson had opened her to it a bit. The warrior stepped back and bowed a bit to it, like one would do to a Master and thanked him before retiring.

The girl made sure that her new knowledge was used as something good for humanity, and took two months to return to the temple, of course that this time she didn't fight the monster, in fact she nealy lied over its lap willingly, that became a routine whenever the warrior found need for more knowledge, yet it was thanks to many of those lessons that society prospered, so having her behind wamed by a thing that she was eventually considering a friend and master was not really a price too expensive for her.
