Luke had a knack for getting himself into trouble, he'd already lost his allowance for two months, and all he'd done was put his brother in the garbage bin....was it his fault that his brother was garbage?

Currently he was spying on the neighbour girls, water pistol in hand, and he squirted them to oblivion, laughing at the sight of them drenched.

Perched on the top of a fence and completely invisible to everyone in the vicinity Skye focused his sapphire blue eyes on the little boy that he had been sent to take in hand, for lack of a better way of explaining the situation. Typically speaking guardian angels didn't interfere directly with the humans that they were sent to watch over but this was a special case and Skye had been given special allowances.

Banishing his mismatched white and black wings Skye hopped down from the fence and made his way over to the boy, placing a hand on his shoulder while at the same time becoming visible. "That wasn't very nice," he said in a calm and almost musical voice, his gaze stern as he looked at the boy.

Luke hadn't been expecting that anyone would be watching him, when he felt the hand on his shoulder, he was sure his Mom or Dad had caught him, he was wrong. "Who're you?" he asked, sticking his tongue out at the stranger.

"No, it wasn't but they deserved it...because they're giiiirls." he said, disgusted by the very word.

Skye arched a brow at the response that he got from the boy, shaking his head slightly. "My name is Skye and I'm your guardian angel...though for the moment I'm the one that's going to rein in this little mean streak of yours," he said, his voice remaining calm since he was rather hard to rise to anger. Angels, and even the ones like Skye that were relatively young comparatively speaking, were very good at keeping a tight rein on their emotions.

"Angel? I thought angels were all girls." Luke smirked, and laughed, "Where's your long white dress, angel?" he teased, hoping to offend and he moved over to the fence with his water pistol at the ready, "Now be quiet, I'm still hunting." he said waving a dismissive hand at him.

"Apparently you were greatly misinformed," Skye told him, shaking his head as the boy decided to go back over to the fence and dismiss him. "You are also under the delusion that you have a choice in this," he said as he walked over and unceremoniously picked the kid up by the back of his shirt, holding him aloft in that manner and taking the water gun from him. And without missing a beat he shot the boy square in the face with it.

"Hey! Put me down!" Luke snapped, thrashing his arms about and he spluttered when the angel squirted him in the face, "Oi!" he whined, "That's my squirt gun!" he exclaimed and continued to squirm in that suspended hold. "Let me go, or you'll be sorry!"

"I am aware that it's yours," Skye said as he squirted the struggling boy in the face again, the angel arching a brow when he was ordered to place the kid down, the threat that accompanied that actually getting a laugh out of him. "I'll be sorry huh? And just what are you going to do to make me sorry?" he questioned, wanting to know just what the kid thought that he could do in order to follow through on the threat that he had just decided to make.

"I'll...I'll call the police on you!" Luke snapped, being only ten he didn't really have a firm grasp on the situation, "Let me goooo!" he snapped again, reaching out and grabbing onto the angel's hair, tugging hard and smirking, thinking that would earn him his release, "I warned you!" he reminded, looking right into his eyes with his own defiant ones.

"Well you could do that but seeing as I can become invisible I doubt that would really work out in your favor," Skye told him when the boy told him that he was going to call the police. When the kid decided to grab him by the hair Skye didn't even react to it, instead meeting the gaze of the boy with his sapphire blue eyes still calm. "Is that the best that you can do?" he questioned calmly, not affected in the slightest by the hair pulling.
