Yugi saw Tea's empty field and her monster's 1700 atk points, and his swordsman had 2000. "I play Green Gadget, which lets me add a Red Gadget to my hand," Yugi declared. "My Swordsman destroys your Swordsmistress. And Green Gadget attacks you for 1400," Yugi noted. "I end my turn." Yugi wasn't playing facedowns on purpose. It was obvious he was taking it easy on Tea.

"Oof..." Tea wasn't sure how she could come back from that. She knew Green Gadget only had 1400 attack points, but that was as tough as some of her toughest monsters. She was backed into a corner already, and most of her cards were monsters. Swallowing hard, she placed Mystical Elf in defense mode.

"Okay the duel is over," Yugi said as he cleaned up. "My Swordman would have gained another 500 attack points, and with Red and Green Gadget, you would have lost. You also have no face-downs." Yugi put his deck back together before he turned to Tea. "How would you rate yourself," he asked kindly.

Once again, Yugi tried to think of the nicest thing he could say. "You shuffled my deck correctly," he ended up settling on. Dammed with faint praise. Pathetic praise in this case. "You, really...Huh. You don't think far into the future, and you're deck really isn't suited for the pros. It's going to need a lot of work. More trap cards for sure, better monsters, spells...I didn't even see a Pot of Greed! I think I do need to punish you," Yugi said, blushing.

"Um. What do you mean, 'punish?'" Tea asked, frowning. She wasn't sure she followed. It wasn't really her fault she had bad cards. Not thinking too far into the future, well, that was another story...

(Is it okay if she and Yugi are sort of friends with benefits in this world?)

"It's not your fault you have bad cards, but it is your fault you didn't try to improve them," Yugi clarified as he guessed what she was thinking. Yugi's blush deepened. "I am going to spank you Tea," he said bluntly. While it was true that he and Tea were sort of dating, he never outright suggested spanking her before. But, his grandpa did it to him and Joey when they learned to duel, so it was probably best to continue the tradition.

Tea's face reddened. "You're going to... spank me? Really?" She wasn't sure if this was Yugi initiating some kind of sex game or what, but it was strange to her. Not necessarily strange in a bad way, but definitely strange.

"Well, yes," Yugi said bluntly as he began to head upstairs. "When my Grandpa taught Joey and I to duel, spankings was the punishment that he used. I figure if it worked on us, it should work on you too," he noted. Privately he was amazed he actually found a deck without Pot of Greed. "i assume you want it to be done in private?" he asked.

"I... I... I guess so..." Tea could barely speak, she was so stunned. Her throat was dry, but she still got up and followed Yugi upstairs, where there would be no chance of anyone walking in on them.
