Brother and Sister
"Well if you wouldn't have distracted me," Andrew complains mildly after Amy teases that maybe he needs glasses. He is appreciative of Amy's concerns as she quickly kneels down and begins squeezing his ankles, legs, and knees to check if he is alright. Andrew doesn't wince or wail from the squeezing, though he does blush a little more, feeling a little awkward at having his little sister making such a fuss over him after his fall.
"Yeah, yeah," Andrew replies dismissively, as he playfully rolls his eyes when Amy teases him about his "efforts to make her movie a success." Andrew slides over and watches as Amy replays his fall on her phone. He winces as he watches himself flip over the wall, but he has to grin as Amy laughs. His grin fades a little though as Amy starts talking about sending the video to their family and some of her friends. Andrew tries to reach over to disrupt her from sending the video but Amy quickly glides out of reach. Andrew doesn't give up so easily but Amy carefully stays just out of his reach even while continuing to tap away on her phone. "Oh whatever," Andrew sighs rolling his eyes one last time as it is clear that he isn't going to be able to disrupt Amy from sending the movie, at least while they are on the ice. "Just don't complain when I find something funny about you to send to everyone!," Andrew replies giving Amy a little grin. Andrew then goes back to skating around the rink. He has some trouble making the turn, but once he gets back going straight he quickly picks up speed and slowly becomes more fluid.

Re: Brother and Sister
Amy heart beats faster because she is so very nervous when Andrew tries to hinder her to send an Email. She expects him to order her to stop and give him the cellphone, probably she will resist at least at the first time - but he does nothing. She can see he doesn't want her to send the video to her parents he tries to hinder her but then he simply gives up.
Perplexed she looks after him when he glides away. Why has he not told her to give him the phone if he wants it? Isn't that the reason for giving a spanking, to make the victim afraid? So full of fear that it will do whatever you demand. He said he will repeat it and he insisted that what he did was right, but he seems not very eager to find out if she has 'learned her lesson' like the adults say.
This would have been a good opportunity to see if she is intimidated but he seems almost afraid to do anything that could lead to a conflict and force him to show if he was really serious with his threat. Seemingly he is also unsettled by the clash yesterday, more like he wants to show. She is still not sure what is going on in his head, but she surely will find out.
She jumps, pulls herself up on the half wall and sits there her legs dangling down, while she watches him skating.

Re: Brother and Sister
Andrew isn't exactly thrilled about Amy sending the video to everyone, particularly anyone who wasn't family but, he was going out of his way to keep the peace especially for the moment. He just wanted them, though Amy in particular, to have some fun together as he was still feeling a little bad about yesterday's clash with Amy and the way she seemed to be so nervous around him now. He didn't think that her having a healthy fear of a good hard spanking was a bad thing. In fact it was quite a good thing, but only if it prevented her from doing or reminded her not to do something wrong, not if it just made her afraid of him in general. Andrew thought about this as he continued to skate around the rink a few times. He was quickly regaining the skills he did have, and while he wouldn't be doing any jumps and still struggled a little with the turns he was capably circling the ice with steadily increasing speed and poise.
Finally, Andrew skated over to where Amy was still sitting on the half wall, and held his hand out to her almost like one would when proposing to dance. "Come on, just a circle or two around with the big brother you adore so, to make him happy," Andrew teased lightly giving Amy a little grin. "And then when your ready, I can take you to lunch, or shop a bit, or whatever you want," Andrew suggests doing his best to make this day about Amy.

Re: Brother and Sister
Amy hops down from the half wall. It is cute how he tries to make everything fine for her. She never thought about this when she was younger, it was simply natural.
"I like to watch you skating. You always watched me when I was younger." She takes his hand. "At the hand of my big brother. Hopefully nobody is here who knows me or my reputation to be a tough girl is ruined." She skates by his side around the rink.
She hums a little tune, for her this is all too easy. "I missed this. Do you remember when we went at an ice rink for the very first time. I was six or so. I always fell down so you took me by the hand and then we skated so fast, I still can remember, that was fun. I think it is your fault that I play ice hockey now. Hm, if I think about it, all my bad habits are your fault. Mom and Dad surely thought you support them and teach me to embroider and ballet dancing." She giggles. "You ruined me and all their plans. I wonder how it comes, that you have never the same opinion what is right for me. You and Mom and Dad I mean." She sighs. "This is so stupid...though, it gave me some leeway, I think. So I could play you off against each other. I mean - I always know what's best for me, but nobody ever listens to me." She pouts a bit then she beams as an idea comes to her mind.
"Hey, I got an idea. We go shopping. Clothes. I buy something for you and you buy something for me and then we both have to wear what the other one has bought. At least three days. What do you say?" Her eyes sparkle.

Re: Brother and Sister
It surprised Andrew a little to hear Amy say that she liked to watch him skate. He of course loved watching her skate and always had, but he had never considered that she might feel the same way. He grins as she complains teasingly about taking his hand and having her tough girl reputation ruined. "Oh shhh, there is like no one here right now and I'm sure you would quickly convince anyone who claimed you weren't tough otherwise," he lightly teased back. Soon enough they were skating around the rink together, Andrew smiling as Amy began to hum. He knew that this pace was like walking to her, effortless and without thought, but he was enjoying it as he thought back on how they used to this when they were younger.
And suddenly Amy chimed in that she had missed this, which really made Andrew smile. "Yes I remember," Andrew replied as Amy reminisced about the first time he took her skating. He had been thinking about the exact same thing, remembering how cute she had been, and how joyful when she began to skate fast by his side, holding his hand, for the first time. How he had been the better skater guiding her, and not the other way around. Andrew listens as Amy "blames" him for her love of playing ice hockey and then for all of her bad habits. This gets a grin and an eye roll out of him, but he laughs pretty hard as Amy jokes that their parents would of had her doing embroidery and ballet dancing without him. Andrew just shrugged as Amy claims that he ruined her and wonders aloud how come he and their parents never have the same opinion of what is right for her.
"Well, I didn't take you to ruin their plans, I just took you so that you could try something new and fun. I surely didn't know it would lead to you playing hockey," Andrew laughs. "Maybe I would not of took you either if I had know that," he jokes giving her a wink to reassure her that it was only a joke. He listens quietly though as Amy continues explaining that she knows what is best for herself and then pouting a little insisting that no one every listened to her about it though. Andrew wasn't so sure he agreed but he kept quite and gave Amy a curious look when she suddenly began to beam, He listens thoughtfully to Amy's sudden proposal, though immediately he is not too keen on it.
"Eh not to work, I have to look professional at work," he replies noting the sparkle in Amy's eyes that tells him two things. One is that she is probably intending to try and make him wear something crazy and two that she is really attached to this idea for some reason. His appearance at work though is unquestionably something that he does not want to give Amy control over. This is what comes to his mind first and only then does he consider possibly going through with the deal with this stipulation. "If you agree to this then I will consider it," Andrew answers carefully. Surely Amy has some scheme in mind but she is also willingly giving him the power to get her back if she does, though Andrew is not so sure that he would be willing to take it so far as Amy would be.

Re: Brother and Sister
Amy is not so sure if Andrew did not do this to ruin the plans of her parents or at least of her father. There has always been some rivalry, not as bad as it is now, but sometimes she felt like the child in the story of Salomon, as if they are pulling at her arms in different directions. She loves them both but she can't make it right for both of them. Her father is not happy that she is here with her brother now, but he is. So what shall she do? She is almost sure that one reason that Andrew encouraged her to play ice hockey was that he knew how her father would react though he would probably never admit it. This is an uncomfortable situation, to stand between her father and her brother but she isn't sure what she could do about it and a bit she is afraid that they might team up against her if they ever agree and forget about their differences.
Amy shakes her head as Andrew asserts it would be easy for her to convince everyone that she is a tough girl. "Pfff, you have no idea. That's easy to say for you. You are a boy. Do you know how difficult this is if you are the cute and well behaved daughter of wealthy parents. Whew! I worked really hard to obtain my reputation as a tough guy." She glares at him. "What so funny? Rather watch you don't fall over the half wall again. I am not joking! Did you know for example that boys spit in there palm before they handshake?...Oh, of course you know. Boys are so disgusting and if you grimace you lose every respect. I had to go through hell. I can't even swear. I mean I couldn't. With 'shit' and 'fuck' you don't get far. This is like a jungle full of wild gorillas and you have to show them who is the boss. You stare at them and if you just blink then you are lost. Like this."
She demonstrates it, obviously she has no problems to look in one direction and skate in another.
"They tried to make me quit, they are monsters. Imagine. They stormed the girls locker while I was showering and besieged the showers. Barbarians. Machos. But I don't gave up, ha! I know you think I am like the Princess and the Pea but you just don't know me."
She wheezes after this outbreak and needs a few seconds before she can talk again.
"Not at work, uh? No." She answers his proposal. "What would be the point then? This is about trust. You think I want to disgrace you and make you look like a fool. Just like you thought I will send the Email to our father. You don't trust me that's the whole point. You don't trust me but you want me to trust you. That is as if I had said I will only visit you if you promise not to spank me. You would never have agreed to this and then we would not be here now." She shrugs.
"Then we just buy something for me. You choose what. I am afraid you plan to make decision for me while I am with you, that is a good training to get used to it."

Re: Brother and Sister
Andrew only half listened as Amy replies about how hard it was to convince all the boys that she was tough. He almost starts to laugh when she refers to herself as a cute well behaved girl, not that it wasn't true for the most part at least, but he stopped himself just in time as he could hear in Amy's voice how serious she was being about the subject. She must of noticed his grin though because she quickly glares back at him asking what is so funny before telling him that she would rather watch him go tumbling over the half wall again. This comment and her reiteration of the fact that she wasn't joking was enough to wipe the grin off Andrew's face as he listens to her explain the things the boys did to her and how she had to handle them. He had, had no idea about the locker room incident in particular and remained quite as Amy accused him of thinking of her only as a princess before wheezing after getting all of that off of her chest.
"Sorry," Andrew answered after a moment of silence. "You are a princess to me, my princess, but I know that you are tough and more than that as well. I knew some guys gave you a hard time but I didn't know it was that bad," Andrew answers honestly before becoming quiet again until he hears Amy's proposal.
Andrew winces as he hears that Amy's proposal had been about trust. He listens as she accurately accuses him of thinking that she would dress him like a fool and that she would of sent that blackmail email to their father. She then accuses him of not trusting her and pointing out that it isn't fair since he expects her to trust him. To Andrew it was different though. He did trust Amy, but at the same time he was the older brother, the adult, she was the younger sister and still a young teen. It made sense for him to make decisions in her life since he knew more and better and had more experience than her. And he couldn't understand why she had wanted to choose his clothing or offered him to do the same for her as he usually had no critiques in the way Amy dressed. "Amy I do trust you, but work is important and I know you like to play pranks. I thought you might not consider the implications of me showing up wearing something ridiculous might have, and you were very quick to share that video with everyone you know of me falling. I hope you know that I do trust you but if not then there are surely better ways to see it. Why don't we just go buy you a new outfit or two that you like? I'm not trying to control every detail of your life Amy. I just want what is best for you, and yes I may make some decisions you don't agree with, and I seriously hope you are considering doing something productive this summer as well as relaxing, but I am doing it so that you will be able to make the best possible choices for YOURSELF when your are older."

Re: Brother and Sister
Amy chews her lower lip and glances skeptical at Andrew when he says that he knows that she is a tough girl and more than that. What else should he say? That she is a wimp? She is not really convinced he is serious about this. After the giant fuss she made about what in his eyes was a normal spanking and no big deal, he of course thinks, she is a little crybaby. A sensitive spoiled princess. That's the main reason why she is so eager to convince him of the opposite. "I wasn't so tough across your lap." She says casually.
She planned to show him at this visit how much she has grown up. How tough and self reliant she is and it took him five minutes to make her cry like a toddler and run away back home. She was so sure she could deal with anything he would dish out. She had no idea. It was a total disaster. No wonder he sees still a little girl that has to be controlled when he looks at her but she isn't sure what she could do about it. How she could convince him how mature and self reliant she is already. How she could gain his respect.
The expression on her face becomes even more frustrated when he continues. Yes, he trusts her - if the thing he has to trust her about is not important. She would have agreed that he is older and has more experience but she doesn't expect him to trust her to make decisions about his life. Or to trust her to let her punish him however she sees fit. She expects just some little trust. Enough to buy him some clothes. Why she was so eager about this is easy to explain, she thought she can see that he trusts her and show him how reasonable she already is. How much trust needs this? If she buys him a clown costume he still could redress before he goes to work. She cannot jump off his lap if the things get too rough for her.
He thought she might not have considered the implications if he wears something ridiculous at work. He thinks she is still a naive little kid. In her eyes with thirteen years you are almost an adult. A girl in her class got pregnant last month. She is not a child anymore but he treats her as one. He wants to determine her life but he doesn't wants to let her have the slightest influence on his.
"You were quick to spank me and to yell at me" She shoots back. "and I didn't sent the video, I just wanted to see if you scream at me again. No I don't know that you trust me." Her face is serious. "It is obvious you do not. You just want what is best for me? Oh, well, I just want what is best for you. So what?" She sighs.
"Yes. OK. Why don't we just go and buy one or two nice outfits for me. Anything to make Amy happy. Oh, but I don't consider to do something productive this summer, sorry to blow your hopes, adored older brother."

Re: Brother and Sister
Andrew slows down on his skates and watchs as Amy begins to chew her lip and glance skeptically at him when he tells her that he thinks she is tough and more than just a princess. She casually slips that she wasn't so tough across her lap, and Andrew gives her a questioning look. Amy was begging him to stop after only a few spanks it was true, but he doesn't understand why she just tried to convince him how hard it was to be seen as tough and now that she isn't so tough. "Well I didn't go easy on you and you weren't expecting it," Andrew replies weakly but it is all he can think to say. Maybe she just wanted him to recognize how hard she had worked to attain that reputation, since maybe she wasn't the toughest girl in the world but had made the boys she played hockey with believe that she was. Andrew wasn't sure, he was not used to Amy trying to prove things to him or prove things about how he felt about her.
Andrew is a little surprised when Amy shifts back into a more confrontational tone quickly reminding him of how quick he had been to yell at and spank her. Andrew sighs, he knows it was only yesterday but it doesn't seem to him that Amy was ever going to let that go no matter how much he apologized for reacting out of anger. She then adds that she didn't even send the video but was just testing to see if he would scream at her again before informing him that she doesn't know that he trusts her. Andrew just shakes his head hearing this, it had been much simpler when she was younger and had just accepted his love and feelings, without feeling the need to prove anything to him. Her face becomes very serious and she comments that he obviously doesn't trust her and then questions whether he wants the best for her before saying she wants the best for him but so what and then sighs at him in much the same way he had been sighing at her.
"Look Amy there are many ways I trust you, but you are right there are some that I don't yet. It's not because I think you don't have my best in mind but because I don't know everything you are capable of doing yet. I'm quite sure that you could pick out professional clothes for me to wear and I would trust you to do that if I knew that was your intention but you made it seem like a dare and that I would HAVE to wear whatever you chose if I agreed. And no I don't know that you wouldn't play a prank on me, you just pretended to send an embarrassing video to see if I would yell at you. That was childish Amy and not the best way to earn my trust in the areas that you do not have it yet. I am trusting you to stay alone at my apartment all summer when I am at work. And I am trusting you enough to let you go whereever you want and do whatever you want this summer as long as you let me know what you plan on doing and where you plan on going,' Andrew tries to explain himself to Amy calmly.
Andrew winces again though when Amy shoots right back about buying her things to make her happy like you would with a child, when he suggests they go buy her a couple of outfits she likes instead. Andrew had to admit that sounded bad when Amy said it back to him that way. It hadn't been his intention to try and pacify her by buying her things, particularly since it would be father's credit card anyhow, but he could see how Amy could take it that way. Still he had only been trying to make up to her since it was clear that she thought he didn't trust her. Before Andrew could defend himself though Amy snidely added that she wasn't going to consider doing anything productive this summer before sarcastically calling him her adored older brother. Andrew gritted his teeth hearing this as it was another perfect example of why he still thought of her as childish more that she would like. "Very mature...," Andrew replies sarcastically right back. "If you want to earn more of my trust, be safe and make smart choices when you are on your own this summer Amy. And maybe stop coming up with all these little tests and games, and communicate with me more like an adult," Andrew adds firmly. He then begins to speed up and skate off from her, though she can obviously pursue and overtake him if she desires, Andrew doesn't feel there is anything else that needs to be said. Time and actions would reveal more than words could at this point in his opinion, and he feels they could both use a moment to just cool off and release all the emotions they are obviously feeling. Andrew isn't mad but the physical act of skating would definitely help him release all of the emotion is bringing out, that he is having a hard time dealing with. "We can leave when you are ready and then we can go shop, home, or whereever you want," Andrew calls back before starting to pull away a little from Amy, at least for the moment.

Re: Brother and Sister
Basically it is that Andrew has shaken her trust in her own toughness and that she hoped about a confirmation of him, she doesn't know exactly herself. A confirmation that she is tough and that the spanking was simply to harsh to withstand it, that even a tough boy would have wailed like her at this moment. Since she has no experience with such punishments she still can't estimate this. Perhaps you get used to it. His weak unconvincing reply is not helpful at all, but if she asks him directly she cannot sure he tells her the truth. She will have to find her answers on another way but this is no problem, she is resourceful, getting answers was never a problem for her.
His lecture how she could gain his trust doesn't raises her mood. Maybe it was childish to pretend to send the Email to see if he would freak out - but he indeed freaked out the last time she did this. So how the hell is she supposed to find out - without running danger to get strangled or thrashed. Childish, that's easy to say for him. The things were much easier when she was younger and he didn't expected her to accept more of him than love - as spankings and regulations and orders.
"So, you don't know everything I am capable of doing yet." She answers a bit reproachful. "So, what? I also don't know what you are capable of doing, yet. Not anymore. Sure I would play a prank on you, that is not the same, pretending to send the Email didn't harm you, I..." She shakes her head. He doesn't understand her or he doesn't want to understand her.
"You are not trusting me to stay alone at your apartment, only if you can punish me as you wish if I do something wrong. That is not trust. I cannot punish you I you do something I don't like. I cannot hurt you. I have to trust you. I do whatever I want and go wherever I want at least since last years, if this is trust, then Mom and Dad trust me more than you do."
She skates a few rounds to cool off and to think about what he has said. It's obviously he wants to end the discussion. Smart choices. Yeah. Smart choices means probably to do what he wants. Communicate more like an adult, but how do adults communicate? What would an adult say if he is treated like a child or if another adult threats to spank him if he doesn't obey? This is not so easy as Andrew maybe thinks.
Communicating like an adult means that you either believe what the other adult tells you - and if you are a child then there are many thing that adults don't tell you, she is old enough now to know this, or, this is the other possibility, you accept that you only can find out so much about another person as he wants you to know. That would probably be mature, but she wants to find out anything about Andrew not only what he thinks she is mature enough to know or what he wants her to know. She is curious. So if you get (mis-)treated like a child then you want at least also to have the advantages.
She waits for him at the entrance until he reaches her on his round. "No. I won't." She says as if they had never interrupted their discussion. "Spanked like a child while behaving like an adult, that would be to frustrating."
She grins and hugs him to show she isn't mad at him. "Let's go, this is getting boring, not enough action." She pulls him after her and sits down on the bench to remove the skates. She giggles.
"Hey, would, you help me to take them off?" She lies down on the bench and flails her legs in the air like a beetle lying on his back, by this repeating the little game she already played twice with him. Childish. Yeah!
