Big City, Big Changes (for FrankFly)
Rosie sighed as she stepped off the train at Chicago, she pulled her suitcase behind her as used her other hand to push her brown hair out of her blue eyes, she scanned the crowd as she looked for her older sister who she had not seen in a few years since she moved away from thier little hometown, she couldn't believe her father was sending her to live with her just because she got kicked out of school, it wasn't her fault that her teachers had no sense of humour but of course she was the person that got blamed for it, she walked down the platform as she continued to search for her sister

Alexis watched the mass of people that appeared around the train that had just arrived from Springfield. Her younger sister was among the crowd, but Alexis wasn't really sure of what to be looking for, since she hadn't seen the girl for two years. A lot could have changed since then, with her sister being at the proper age for a growth spurt or two. Her eyes searched the people for someone who resembled herself: the two sisters had always looked similar, although Rosie did have darker hair than Alexis did. She spotted someone that resembled her sibling.
"Rosie?" Alexis called, approaching a girl who was dragging a suitcase along behind her.

Rosie looked up at Alexis, she noticed that she had changed slightly in two years but she also noticed that she looked really tired "Hey, Alexis" Rosie said with a sigh as she walked over, she guessed that Alexis didn't want her there as much as Rosie didn't want to be there "So...uh...how are you?" Rosie asked awkwardly as she walked towards the exit with Alexis
(Off to bed, see you tommorow )

"Oh... fine," Alexis answered vacantly. It was rather odd talking to her sister face-to-face again after years without seeing her. Things were changing very fast: One week, Alexis was an independent woman, making a comfortable living in the big city, and the next, she was expected to take her little sister into her home.
"How have things been back at home?" Alexis asked as they walked to the bus stop, wanting to break the awkward silence between the pair of them, although the older girl did indeed want to know what exactly had happened to result in her sister having to start a new life in a new city.

Rosie rolled her eyes "Fine but i'm guessing your real question was 'what have you done to get dumped on my doorstep?'" Rosie said sighing "I got thrown out of school...again and dad hasn't really gotten any better, so it meant I had to come and stay with you" Rosie explained as she pulled her brown hair over her left shoulder

Alexis frowned at her sister's response. She had been trying to be nice in asking about the rather touchy subject.
"That's the blunt way to put it," Alexis said, unsatisfied "I know all that. I've got the basic picture in my head. But what exactly was it that you did that got you kicked out of school?" she asked. Her father had given her very little on the situation, he had only really gone into detail about the part of it that effected Alexis "I feel like a have a right to know," she added, as the bus rolled to a stop in front of them.
Leading her sister up the steps into the vehicle, she paid the fare for two, and sat down, still awaiting an answer.

Rosie groaned as she sat down, she had been through this so many times and was sick of talking about it "Lets just say, I turned the gym and corridors into a ice skating rink but without the ice" Rosie answered with a smirk, even though her prank had caused alot of trouble, she couldn't help but be proud of it, it had taken her a long time to organize and get right

The answer was still pretty vague, but Alexis figured she would have to accept it for now.
"You'd just better make sure nothing like it ever happens again," Alexis warned, trying not to sound too much like an authority figure. She wanted to make the relationship work between herself and the younger girl. Having never had much authority over someone else, Alexis didn't really know how to act.
"Dad didn't want you going to any of the public schools, so he's paying for you to go to a nice, private one. There's only about 1,000 or so kids there," she informed the girl.
The short bus ride was rather uneventful, and soon, the pair found themselves walking, just two blocks away from Alexis's apartment.

Rosie shrugged and smirked "I don't know I think the private school kids, could do with a laugh" Rosie said as a plan formed in her mind "If it's a private school, won't I need to wear a uniform?" Rosie asked as they walked towards Alexis's apartment

Alexis thought over the girl's question.
"Um... I don't think so," she answered, unsure "I'll check through the papers they sent to me the other day, I'm pretty sure they had a student handbook. It doesn't really seem like that kind of school though; it's only really private in the sense that it's kept a lot safer than the public ones around here," she paused for a moment "Why? Don't like the idea of wearing a uniform?"
