Personal gallery suggestions

Hey mods & admins, I had a couple of ideas regarding the the new(-ish) personal gallery system.

1. Currently when viewing the list of personal galleries, there are two pages. It looks like the software is set up for 20 galleries per page. I'm on the first page (yay!) but it seems like it would nice if everybody was on a single page - I can imagine the folks on the second page getting less hits.

2. Would it be possible to move the "User Personal Albums" section up near the top of the main gallery page? It's a minor point but I find myself getting kind of annoyed having to scroll all the way down to get there... picky me, I know.

3. Ideally, maybe we could do away with the personal gallery subfolder and show all of the personal albums on the main gallery page, thus making the two preceding points moot. This would mean more exposure for our resident artists, who are some of this site's greatest assets (there I go, tootin' my own horn). I think this has been mentioned before but I just wanted to throw it out there again... at least for me, my view count dropped off sharply after moving my images to a personal album. Perhaps some search bots aren't indexing that section and that accounts for some of it, but I don't doubt that real-people views have dropped off as well.[/*:m:3qt8tt8a]

Of course, none of these complaints are meant in any way to disparage the new system, which seems to be approximately way-super better than OldTK's gallery.

1. Changed to 50 but after that it'll have to be two pages or the page load will become too slow.

2. For some reason its harder than it looks. I assumed its just staggering the code to switch but it appears that this is a little bit of a tough thing to move. I've already tried a few things and I'll keep trying way ways. For now its stuck at the bottom. On the bright side pretty soon the non-community artist album will be chopped down as a lot of the albums are empty and won't be filled.

3. I've talked to some pros about this. This is impossible to do.
Right now it's Galley>personal album CAT> Personal Albums > Peoples albums
I'll explain why: a personal album runs into a database as the normal albums. Because of this both need a separate path. If I remove the Personal Album CAT, then there is no category determined that personal albums are made. I can't make personal albums go in a normal category either because then personal albums and normal albums are sharing the same database(SQL ERROR). We're just stuck with it this way.

I'm still going to work with Number 2 though. I already mentioned that I'm working with trying to move the personal albums up top on the first announcement topic for the new gallery.

I don't know anything about databases but that sort of makes sense to me now.

Oh, I forgot to mention. You personal artists have a much better chance of getting more views because you can show your updates in Artist Submission Updates forum, it shows your personal album on your profile, and you should add a link to your album on your siggy.
All of this with supplement for being at the bottom of the list of albums.
